Hey man liking the mod videos. Just picked up mine and I did do this also. Find out there is no need to pull back the carpet lining to get to those tabs. The tail light has these prongs that snap into those tabs. A gentle persuasion and they pop out from those tabs.

You don’t need to mess with the white tabs for the turn signals. I just replaced mine by pulling the entire taillight and it worked perfectly fine and pops back into place

Awesome video, as always. I am guessing the Hatchback uses the same LED bulbs as the sedan, albeit different light designs. But the procedure may be different. But definitely must get those.
I believe they should fit the hatch. No reason to run different connectors. Appreciate the kind word as always my friend 🙏

I loved your video of swapping halogen with LED. I swapped mine as you said in video. But I didn’t get the info about the replacement of centre brake light. I mean what type of LED can replace that bulb. And I put T15 LED in my boot, it didn’t fit perfectly but works. Should I go for T10?

3rd day with my '22 Si and I was looking for exactly this! Does pulling the trunk lid matting give you access to the back of the mounting tabs on the H emblem also? I had full LED and black H emblems on my '19 Sport and am looking to replicate on my '22 Si. Already swapped the trunk light. It's pretty awful stock!
Hey Nick! Almost everything is like the 10th gen. Can't say for certain on the rear emblem as my body shop did it for me but if I had to guess it does. Appreciate the comment 🙏 Thank you!
HAZARDS IN REVERSE. I need to upgrade to LED since I've tinted the reverse and turn sections of my rear lights. OEM bulbs aren't bad, but obviously not as bright.
They will definitely shine through that tint Matt, the reverse lights are all but as bright as the headlights. Appreciate the comments as always my friend 🙏

This Video is quite informative. Is there any chance you can do another eposide on changing the front ones? I know starting with 2022 civic, it's all leds, can we still change the light ourselves or we have to replace the whole assembly? Any information is greatly appreciated! 😁
Thank you, I appreciate the kind words. I think to change the front ones you would have to take the headlight apart. I'm just going to wait for aftermarket headlights to come out. It's kind of the same way with the Touring and R headlights on the 10th gen.

I picked up my 22 Hatchback Sport a week and 1/2 ago. Since it’s a lease I’m sure this minor mod is something I can get away with! In 35 months I plan on purchasing a Hatchback Touring!

I tried and tried on my sport hatchy and I cannot get those tabs loose for the tail lights, gonna have to end up going to the dealer so they can swap the turn signals for me🤦🏻♂️😑
Try prying on the end of the taillight. It should pop out, just be careful!
Hey man I have a question hopefully you can help with. I ordered the newer version of the t15/921/912 bulb from Lasfit and it was much longer than the factory halogen and actually came out of the socket and fell in the housing, I was wondering if the ones you installed were more snug. Was also wondering how the turn signal bulb was too, just don't want to order it with the same issue. Thanks man I appreciate it and keep up the good work.
Mine went in really snug actually. Turn signals work great. I have heard others talking about hyper flash after 3 minutes. I personally haven't seen that yet on mine. I hope that helps!
@@717PROJECT Just ordered the same ones you have so let's hope. I have a sport hatchback. It was a pain getting the bulb out because instead of the padding on the trunk I have a plastic piece that pops off so I can replace the bulbs and they don't give much room. The ones I got were silver and seemed top heavy and when I tried locking the socket into the housing the bulb popped out. Glad to hear the bulbs are working good and no hyper flash. Pretty excited. Sounds like it's hyper flashing. Make sure the connection is good. It goes in a good ways and only goes in one way!
Hey just wondering if you’d still recommend the lasfit led turn signals, reverse lights, and trunk light. I’ve heard from some places that they can pop out while driving or cause hyper flash. I’ve also heard that this is imply due to incorrect installation. I’d appreciate your input, thanks.
Definitely worth it. I never had a problem with hyper flash or them falling out. My guess is bad installation.

My reverse lights often fall out, takes a few seconds to twist socket out and re install, kind of annoying. Keep in mind I keep the trunk liner off now 😂
@@tpeas2452 oh damn. I’ve had mine in for a couple months now and haven’t had an issue thankfully. I’m pretty sure Lasfit’s have a lifetime warranty so it might be worth trying to exchange for a new pair?

The light you sent, for the hazard lights you don’t need to remove anything from the trunk. The pins that you pushed with the pliers, you can just wiggle the light out

Did you not get the hyper signal , I bought these and every now and then get the hyper cycle
I haven't noticed it yet. I've even tested it out. Might just be lucky.
I am having the hyper flashing after exactly 3min. I talked to a support team they said "Our bulbs have resistors built in to avoid hyper flash, once they are used for a few minutes (2-5 Minutes), they will reach a high temperature and hyper flash, which is the safety feature to avoid our bulbs burning out quickly.
Please turn off and cool down for about 1 minute, everything will resume as normal" I get what they are saying, but thats not cool.. Is there any kind of solution for this..? Like adding a second resistor or something..
I have personally not run into this problem yet. I've let them on for longer than 3 minutes. Mind you it was winter when I did it. I will have to test that again when I get it back out of the body shop.

I'm pretty sure you have to take the backing of the inside if the deck lid and remove it from there. Not 💯 tho!

Unfortunately, they are not sold on Ebay. They are on Amazon though, or used to be.

Do you know how to fix a bad brake light? My right one won’t turn on I’m just trying to fix it without spending 500 on one
That sucks! The brake lights themselves are built in LED. You would have to take the light apart to fix. Did you do anything to them? Mess with the wiring?
@@717PROJECT no all we did was just put a rear diffuser like a month ago and everything was going amazing until last week my gf told me the brake light would want to stay on but will turn off

Anyone have an issue with Anti Hyper Flashing? I've seen a few comments with users having this issue on some Hondas.
Rick, I personally have not had any. I believe it's happening because the bulb is not in correctly. It goes pretty far in and it only goes in one way. Hope that helps! Appreciate the comment 🙏

@@717PROJECT it is, the clips and everything is there. I’m not sure if I’m putting it in at the wrong angle? Do I need to insert the bottom first?
