Where do i get these lights
You don’t need to remove the bumper for this unless you really want to. Can easily reach behind to get the reflectors out and run the wires up. But thank you for pinning it out, saves us all tons of time
Might be just me but getting the right angle and getting my whole arm squeezed into that area while getting the right angle in order to put pressure on the clips is impossible for me so taking bumper off is the easiest
❤ love this man if there where more people like you we wouldn’t be paying an arm and a leg a mechanic to do this you pretty much help us all out , thank you love your videos
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I am enjoying the ideas that you have presented and your up coming projects.
Thank you, Marc! Appreciate the kind words 🙏
Awesome install and we all appreciate the very detailed instructions it helps take away all the guess work! Thanks so much for the gift card!!
Thank you Chris, just got you message as well.
Shout out to tater! As much as I like the type R, these 11th gen videos get me so excited! Keep it up. Big things coming in 2022!
Thank you Adam! I have a Type R video coming soon! Appreciate the comment bro 🙏
Thank you for sharing your video! Got my pair last week and i'm waiting for the front bumper fog lights to arrived. Can't wait to put em on! peace!
Your welcome, Dee! Appreciate the comment bro 🙏 Thank you!
Mad Kudoz 717, You saved my entire being without question.
I bought another brand of LED reflectors and they had different wiring. I took my time on the install (waiting on a set of 24-26 gauge vs. 14-20 gauge Posi-Tap...total BS if you want smallest footprint which others have suggested... 20-22 should work fine as seen at 717).... (which I would totally suggest to save on real estate behind the taillight, they are a little smaller but well worth the tap being on point, I still have some wire mgmt. to wrap up later.)
The real aggravation I felt was I wired the Brake Lights backward to your video..... no brake lights, everything else worked fine. I re-watched your video for the 15th time and wah-lah, I had turn, parking... and yup... brake lights. OMG you save my 2024 from a royal kick in the "rear quarter panel". This is the very first '24 Civic Sport Touring mod I have done thus far... 310 miles. Mad sleeper modz to come. Thank you 717 for the ultimate save.
>>> Removing the bumper? It is preference and year of the Civic honestly, I removed mine, super flipping easy and enable me to throw the wire thru the body molds which should save on wiring mishaps down the road, but each to their own, my '24 would not allow an easy pull to the tap as others have shown and described. But, rear clip removal is a breeze, have something soft to place it on is my main suggestion.
Really appreciate the kind words! Glad I could help.
I’m glad i found this channel because this is by far the best one i’ve found when it comes to the new Civics. Hope to make some of these same upgrades to mine!

Yea, they definitely make it easier. You can get ones that are similar. Thank you as always my friend 🙏
What’s the wire called?
@@mahoneygaming371 the connectors are called t-taps. You can get them at your local auto store most likely.
Mahalo(Thanks) to Tater for the assist. That's awesome, especially not too expensive. It's just confusing without instructions, even more so if you didn't have this video, but at least I studied electronics. It's more taking off and replacing the bumper again, and that I plan to get a hatchback, which may have a few differences. That will probably be one of my last modifications/add ons. But I know it will wow people here. There are lots of auto enthusiasts around in the 808 State.
Thank you Jacob my friend! Always appreciate the kind words. Rear bumper was actually really easy to remove. I have a feeling a lot of people are going to try and do it without removing the taillights, which will be tough and could possibly damage the bumper. Whole job would take around 45 to 1hr without filming...lol! Took us around 4.
Oh tater cool 😎 job

I do have a question about the Lasfit replacement signal bulbs though. Do you experience any hyperflash? No need for a resistor pack? I ask as I don't want the sequential pieces in the bumper but I am definitely interested in the main signal bulbs.
Thank you for the comment Jason! I have no hyper flash. Bulbs only go in one way and you must make sure they are put in correctly. Otherwise you can get hyper flash. Hope that helps my friend! If you do choose to buy from Lasfit, make sure to use code 717P when you check out for 10%off!

This video help me to install my hitch into my civic sport. The bumper removal was pretty easy but like you mentioned the clips from the taillights were a pain. I can see this clip breaking or significantly getting damaged with my pliers if I try to remove them again. Do you know where to find additional taillights clips to have spare ones just in case. Thanks in advance
Glad I could help you out, Jimmy! The dealer, unfortunately. I did find a better way. You can pull on the end of the taillight, gently... and it will pop out. What we did was remove the whole clip. Didn't realize it was this way until I removed the lights again.
Nice video bro! If you're going to keep the stock wheels I think you should install wheel spacers. I've done it to all my civics and it gives the car a more aggressive look.

Do you have a test light? You can tap each section in the harness to see which is which.
