For thin hair: we recommend 1-2 packs of tape-ins
For medium hair: we recommend 2-3 packs
For thick hair: we recommend 3-4 packs
Make sure to order an extra set of tape-ins if you're not sure how many you will need. You can follow the Bombay hair return policy or keep the extra pack to use for your touch-up in a few months.
Chrissy used the Ash blonde #60 tape-ins combined with Caramel Brown tape-ins. This created instant highlights to add dimension to her hair.

how many packs did you use in this video on your head?
Great question - we used 3 packs of Bombay Tape in extensions.
Are we able to dye them darker? I️ got darkest brown but I’m right in between black and darkest brown. Just wondering if I️ should color before or after application to head
Absolutely you are able to dye them darker. I have bleached and dyed my tape-ins and they are still silky. I would dye your hair before installing - because if the tapes are already in your hair, your hair will be spotty when you take the tapes out
how do you like your bombay extensions now after 5 months use? do they tangle easily? are they the same quality as when you first unboxed?
I am thinking to order bombay hair but i am colouring my hair every single month, will everything ok with them?
Absolutely. I get mine in/out every 4-6 weeks when I'm touching up my roots :)
Do you have to use heat on them after you apply them?
That's a great question, you can do this either way. Heat is generally a good idea as it softens the adhesive in the tape to give a very strong hold. Jessica went over the tape with a straightener after bonding the hair together and it works really well.

Doesn’t matter what piece you use on top or bottom in this case maybe because there’s two different colors but they aren’t labeled top and bottom
