It’s pretty naïve to instinctively believe a cop in a friendly interview where he’s had 2 years to construct his narrative in the most flattering way.

He is so arrogant to expect that everyone should believe him and the cops with 140 years experience but what he fails to recognize is that the distrust of the police in these communities due to their previous lies made the public automatically disbelieve their story.
