I see some RUclipsrs that just buy their kids brand new bikes and they just keep upgrading their kids bikes before they can bring them to their full potential I’m glad that you let your kids start on slower older bikes to let them progress instead of trying to basically buy them the win they are going to be really fast as they get older

These videos are so precious! I love hearing the kids passion and excitement over riding! Mason for sure is already better on the Husky, i think once he gets used to it hes going to start rippin real good! Love your videos guys, takes me back to my youth and makes me teary at times as i remember my dad teaching me, but he sadly passed away 2 years ago so now i need to pass the torch onto our kids when we have some! Your boys have improved so much they are looking good keep at it and keep having fun. And the visor on the Helmet is meant to crack and break so it can absorb some of the fall as well as not kink your neck from your head being held up by it when your your body hits the ground. In one of my crashes mine didn’t break and it caused bad concussion and problems with my neck

Mason looks amazing on the tc 50. But put the handlebars back a little. it will make it a lot easyer to handle and it will be much easier to stand up

If u experiment different oils u might find one with less smoke.. gold spectro is good for less smoke.. also, oil change.

The quality of suspension is definitely better. But it still needs to be built from him. I can’t tell if it’s just the wrong spring for him, or needs just a total revalve
The idle is a bit high on that 50. Edit (what ratio did you mix the gas and oil with 32:1?
Yeah the oil you use or the last owner used sometimes some types of oil you mix with gas makes the bike smoke alot
The tc 50s smoke a lot when you first get them. When my little brother got his 2019 tc 50, it smoked about the first 4 rides. It’s just because it’s new.

Christopher McBain dont do that that is only for low idle and it smokes high up. Pull out the main jet and go to a higher one or take the needle jet and drop it
fix oil mixture or lean a little powerband isn't kicking in. just a little tuning
I know this video is a little behind and hopefully all that smoke is not from a bad crank seal. If it continues to smoke like that, keep an eye on the gear oil level, which should probably be changed after every day of riding anyway. If the smoke smells like burning gear oil you most likely need a new crank seal. Also keep an eye on the coolant level

Bob Jim they are both 2 strokes. But they have different power. Our cobra was smaller. Mason feels more solid on the husky. But it is preference.

Hi awesome bike! You should get some one to set the sag of the suspensionen to his weight and softness and rebound with All he's gear on. Have some one look at him ride and decide. Go after short turning ratio. The front fork should also be lowered half an inch maybe 3/4 to an inch. It will help him reach the ground but also better short turns. As the the forks Are set now, is for example for sand tracks with long turns and long bumps. Where you wanna have the weight on the back wheel to raise the front for the heavy sand. You can also read about or see a video on youtube and try your self. Do it now when he is learning the bike. So he now what it would do when he is progressing he's speed. It would be much more stable.
He needs to Squeeze he's legs to the bike when sitting and standing. He can then be more relaxed in his arms and let the bike work for him. Put the front leg out in the side he is turning for. His sitting position should be close to the tank, raise the elbows raise forward straight back in the cornes. And look forward All the time not down in the ground. I can see he is leaning the opposit direction of the turn. He should Lean a little with the corner it will improve his turns a lot. Stand more back on the bike when going straight. Be more smoth on the gas. Get it rolling and accelrate when your angle of the bike is so the big nobs of the back wheel has most contact to the ground. When you accelrate when in an angle with out being in a burm the back wheel gonna slide on him. Good luck

When i was learning to get better in the corner. I put to spare wheel out on a field and drove in a 8. Then you get left and right corner. With enough space between Them so there is a little acceleration point and braking point where he learns standing up and yousing front & backbrake before turning. You can brake 20% on the back brake and 80% on the front. There for it is import to get control of the front brake. Get the right position on bike in corner and throttle control. When riding some time there wil get burms. It is very good training for getting the right braking, position on bike, cornering and throttle control. It is very Hard. You Are gonne consentrate All the time. Do it 10-20min a Day 5 minuts a time. Then it is printed in to the brain.
