More proof that Zach Hill is one of the first true musical geniuses to arise in the 21st century. Seriously, 99.8% of the world's musicians could learn something by studying this guy. And he has a brilliant sense of humor to boot. :)
Even though you can't necessarily decipher the meaning of the lyrics, it feels like you know exactly what Zach is talking about. That's just one of the things I love about his music.
The song reminds me of the mundanity of job applications and crap office jobs, and the almost nauseous job adverts which gives me the impression that the workplace stinks of old carpet and stale air.
His facial expressions in the video help.

I've loved this song for ages, and I've been listening to some punk bands lately that I never gave time to before. I'm pretty sure the first chord in Dead Kennedys - Lets Lynch the Landlord is sampled and pitch shifted around to make the riff in this. Subject matter lines up too. Probably common knowledge but it's fun when you happen across this stuff by chance
