Thx for your teardown, helped me fix my ROG 6 after the SIM card slot died. Turned out that annoying ribbon cable under the motherboard on the edge of the phone came loose. Watching your video helped me figure out how to put it back together. 👍❤
I'm a it technician in france and I repair lot of phone and your phone is bad for lot of reasons: - U don't try all features on this phone after the repear - U place so much glue for the front of phone - U don't replace all stick on the phone - U replace the fpc connector not good (MB is for motherboard and not subboard but u revert it - U have piece generic and not official so the phone can don't work well To conclude, please stop doing this, u are very good for repearing phone but please be professionnal.

Me está clase de video por 2 motivos, la 1ra es de que con ganas se puede aprender a reparar aparatos electrónicos, y la 2da es que las cosas se hacen con las herramientas indicadas. Jamás usen una hojilla de afeitar porque pueden dañar cables flex, que no tienen repuestos a menos de que se tenga un aparato que tenga algo malo y lo uses como donante, usen manta anti estática. Los cables flex se desconectan con paleta plástica no con pinzas metálicas, puedes hacer corto circuito. Y siempre vean videos de referencia para desarmar cualquier dispositivo. Si es posible varias veces. "Es mejor medir 2 veces, para no equivocarte"

One thing u forgot to check and which is of utmost importance on this phone are air triggers which tends to become unusable after changing display as i have same phone and this happened to me as well
Si es poco lo que se le a de hacer a esos aparatos no es complicado realizar la separación de las partes pero si es mucho yo en lo personal tomo fotos para no perderme en sacar la conclusiones en una reparación 😊
The side one is for the aero active cooler and it can work like a display port.they just added it so the u can play while charging cuz of bypass charging. And the bottom one is for normal charging

The flex wasn't clipped then he was just testing the new display
the fact that this phone was meant for gaming, so camera isnt that important

Most likely you have a processor failure, this happens when the phone could have fallen, or the processor was overheated
