- John Charles is considered by many to have been the greatest all-round footballer ever to come from Britain. This documentary tells the story of John's career & follows him on his visit to Turin to say goodbye to his Juventus teammates for the final time.
Juventus fan will always remember John "the gentle giant" Charles.
He was a great player and a great person.

Damn right and he got the voice for it!!! Way before my time, but I love this story. I almost wanted to cry. To hear how he played through all that real physical contact and not allow it to ruin his game, must take some cohones, yet. I actually thought he got paid better when he did sign for Juve...which is a greater shame about it all, that he got scant financial reward for his 5 seasons in what was the cream of the crop for a footballer then.
