  • @Chiroman527

E3 Rehab, great video. Concise, informative and spot on. I have many spinal issues including T9-T10 disc herniation and C3-T2 disc bulges and degenerated discs (more DDD in the Lumbar spine too). I have such difficulty raising my arms with some Radiculopathy in both arms (the left is worse). My spine is soooo stiff bc of the Facet Joint arthritis and the DDD. I will try these exercises.....carefully. THX for this. BTW, Surgeons that I have visited for my ills (Stenosis as well), all told me that There is absolutley No Surgery on the Thoracic spine...could cripple you. Most people do not realize that the nerves that come through your Thoracic spine affect many Organs : Heart, Lungs, Stomach, Diaphragm - hence your breathing (it does me).

@@caden258 to be honest, I had actually completely forgotten about this video after I did it for the first time haha. Your comment has now reminded me of this video, so thank you. I will save this to my favorites so that I do not forget to do them in the future. To answer your question, unfortunately I still do suffer from upper back pain. But I am to blame as I have not been consistent with these type of excercises!

Hello Dr. Tony. I recently found out that I have disc bulges in C6 and C7. The pain has pretty much subsided as it was super strong back in December but my doctor wouldn’t give me an MRI until recently so I think I’m on the mend but in the meantime I’m looking for ways to strengthen my upper back without hurting myself seeing as how I have the disc bulges. Are these exercises safe

I own a gymnastics & cheer gym. I have several athletes that have tight shoulders and thoracic spine. They have tons of pain when trying to do a bridge up. This hinders them lifting their hips during power tumbling as well and many other skills. Do you have something specific for them?

Could you do a video for massage therapist or people that have jobs that are hunched over. I feel like these exercises are great for that but I wondered if you had any other thoughts because I do try to keep my head up and have lunch position and best pop body mechanics I can but yet I still do have to look down quite a bit in my body with my arms forward most of the day… unavoidable.

When i twist or move my back feels intense pain and is super sensitive. Almost to the point that i think its a nerve and not muscular. When on a roller sometimes it feels stuck with a stabbing pain. Rolling in bed hurts. Certain core exercises hurt too. Miserable

Thank you. Can these exercises help me? The doctor said that there is muscle tension and roughness of the vertebrae. I always feel pain in the neck that goes down to the shoulders. When I do a massage, it goes away for a little, but then it comes back, and so I always have pain.

My thoracic spine has several bulging discs and for comparison, my lumbar spine has two herniated discs and the pain I feel from that is nothing compared to the pain I feel from my thoracic. My question then is why does thoracic spine pain hurt so much? The pain radiates to all my upper back muscles and the only thing I can do is lie down for a few hours till it subsides. I am in bed for between 18 and 20 hours a day.
