On the occasion of Sri Lalgudi Jayaraman’s 90th birth anniversary celebrations, some of the icons of the music and dance world offer their tributes and felicitations. Sangeetha Kalanidhi Sri T. V. Gopalakrishnan has had a long association with our grandfather Sri V. R. Gopala iyer and our guru and father. Legendary danseuse Alarmelvali also joins us today as we celebrate Sri Lalgudi. This will be followed by a zoom conversation between maestros Ganesh & Kumaresh who come together to celebrate the colossus.

Thoroughly enjoyed listening to TVG mama, Alarmel Valli mam and the raga pravagha brothers. It is wonderful to hear his contemporaries and the artists influenced by him recall fond memories and share the same awe that all his throngs of Rasikas feel.
