An excellent video Giles on "downswing rotation!" In my younger days, I always made a habit of weight transfer to my back heel in the backswing and to the front heel on the downswing! Now, at 87 years old, my backswing and downswing stutters or stalls! After viewing this video, I will now take your advice and try your foot and rotation recommendation! I am sure that this will put more consistency into my golf swing! Well Done Giles!!!
Another great video, would love a route cause video! I fully intend to make contact and get some lessons once I recover from a recent back surgery. I think a lack of rotation is causing my erratic pull….
as you start your backswing I noticed you slightly raise your left foot toe and plant it back during the backswing...is this peculiar to you or is it something to strive to do?
@@Gilesgillgolf thanks ! I discovered today that I do the same thing as I start to put force onto my right leg....never knew it did...subconscious I guess.
My problem, like MANY others, is … swinging the UPPER BODY (the shoulders) resulting in an out-to-in swing path. Over-ROTATION … or rotating the upper body early. I’ve heard from many instructors, fix “PATH first” We KNOW what’s wrong, and what we SHOULD be doing, but near impossible for us average golfers to fix. 😩
I’ve done loads of videos of the hands, arms & chest move in transition! If you’re spinning the chest I guarantee your concepts of the arms will be wrong
