use your snipping tool and take a snip-it of the background area where you need a shape to hide scrolling. after snipping, paste the snip-it back onto the slide as it's own image and position it so it lines up seamlessly to the background. This will help with this feature while using patterned or photo backgrounds
Hi, great video - but I cannot make it function. I want to transition from year 1958 to year 1992. I set up the slides. I do not have the morph function, but I found "push" with an arrow up. I use this. What happens is that the slides jump from the one with 1958 to the one with 1992, but without using my text boxes with the numbers that I inserted in slide 1 under the figures for 5 and 8. My powerpoint version is from 2016 (nothing I can change, corporate account)
@@ReadySteadyExcel yeah, the harshness was really directed at Microsoft and not you... Just venting my spleen, really! It beggars belief that anyone can release software that is so awful, so fundamentally flawed on so many levels, as Microsoft does constantly. Being a user of reasonably professional level software (Adobe After Effects, Adobe InDesign etc) on a daily basis, I am astounded how hard it is to achieve relatively simple things in PowerPoint/Word etc. I have the utmost respect for the poor souls who have to use these badly designed, hideously laid out, illogical, clunky, horrendous Microsoft apps.
I have the same issue, the transition works but the numbers go from left to right to reach their new position, even though I moved them in a straight line

There's an easier way. I will make a video
Fan-Bloody-Tastic! Thanks, Tony. Like I said - "I'm Binge-watching" your tutorials.
Thanks again for binge watching my videos! Means a lot and I'm so pleased you're find them useful.
Explained easily and quickly. 👍 Great job.
Thank you very much...I enjoyed making this one 😊
...what about the same animation but on a patterned or photo background, and without the need to create a morphing slide?
There is another way to do this with Morph. I'm about to go on holiday but will do this when I get back.
@@ReadySteadyExcel I'd like to see this video as well.
@@sayer83 Thanks for the reminder. I will look into this.

Thanks for the feedback and explanation. The other way is to use the Motion Path under the Animation tab in PowerPoint
Wow. PowerPoint never ceases to amaze me with it TOTAL shitness. This is a ludicrous method to do a simple count-up!
A bit harsh! 🙈

Don't work : numbers on right go to left and vice versa...
It works...duplicate the slide and move the numbers down in a straight line
That's what i've done, but it act like a morph text. It's work only if i color each number's column with different color. @@ReadySteadyExcel

thats some big brain move
Is this a good thing? 🤣
Simple and clear thanks
Thanks Chris 😊😊😊
i have the cut transition but morph. Ridicilous. (idk if i typed correctly) its not ur fault btw
Sorry to hear this. Which version are you using?
idk why but my numbers are more like fading instead of moving like that i cant get it to work
Something went wrong when you duplicated the slide. You need to do this before moving the numbers
it worked ... then stopped working !! amazing , I cannot get it back to work
Not sure what happened. Check the Morph option is on. Otherwise, try it again.
This is great!
@@platinumblackservices Thank you...hope your presentation goes well ☺️☺️☺️
when i make this thing the other numbers are morphing into the white can you help?
i solved it in a goofier way
Glad you found a way 😊😊😊
It dosnt work with my background
There's a trick to make it work with any background. I need to do a video but if you right click the shape there's an option to fill with background
@@ReadySteadyExcel thx
cool
Thank you 😊😊😊
Really Useful video ❤
Thank you...hope all goes well with your presentation 😊
