Anything from 'I'm From' seems to be worth the hype. I've tried 3 products from them so far based off of free samples and immediately bought the full sizes. All 3 made me fall in love at first use. I got that honey mask, mugwort mask (my favorite), and mugwort essence. So expensive but the packaging is luxurious and so is the formula.
The rice toner is really basic though 😭 the first one I bought! Didn't do anything for hydration or brightening and stinged my eyes. I bought the mugwort mask (cream and sheets) and honey mask and they are SO worth it! Waiting for a promotion to stock up ❤️
I love videos that look at "is it worth the hype". There are soooo many products out there that sound so good, but it's great to be able to see someone like you actually try them out and give their honest opinion. Please do more of this type of topic more often! Love you and your videos, thank you for all your efforts! Love from Vermont 😉
Hey Tracy, so glad you enjoyed it! I like this topic too because as you said there's a lot of hype but not a lot of balanced opinions! I can certainly do another as I try more popular products!❤
The CosRx cleanser conatins Tea Tree and many ppl can be allergic to it, like me. My skin got very angry and irritated after using it, and after two weeks I had to stop using it because it was making my skin and breakouts worse.
Yes the tea tree can be very astringent for some! I really like the make p:rem safe me relief foaming cleanser as a low pH alternative without tea tree in it!
Laneige released a lip balm version of their lip mask. Its called Lip Glowy Balm in Berry, it is basically the lip mask in a squeezy tube. I’m just not sure when it will be available online, I got mine when I was in Korea last December.
They sell them on yesstyle and jolse! I've seen them before but I guess I thought they were different because of the name, but I'll have to give them a try!
i bought the cosrx low ph cleanser after seeing so many good reviews but this cleanser just didnt agree with my skin! i have oily/combination skin and it made my skin so dry and tight afterwards. even when i double cleansed with the heimish cleansing balm before my skin was still soooo dry. now i just use the cleansing balm for my skin routine and im super happy with that. i'm kinda scared of trying any other sort of foam cleanser. otherwise i love cosrx' other products
Please make a collection of good viscus textured toners!!What I mean klairs supple preparation toner is my favorite...Now I want to try other good toners with similar texture!!!🙏🙏
I love the klairs supple prep toner!! I get the unscented one. I use that toner on my makeup days. Also have you ever tried the MAYCOOP raw sauce? It’s like a toner/essence/emulsion in one. I highly do not recommend it. I hated it and used it for 3 weeks and ended up just throwing it away.
It's definitely more on the deeply hydrating side it doesn't have a lot of visible benefits, mostly just reduces redness and might help your skin look more even toned. It's a very subtle product.
I love I'm From skincare. Whamissa never appealed to me because of the reviews. The bottle is beautiful but that's about it. I tend to prefer the I'm From line and also Pure Heals essences and even Pynkanul Yul
I want to try more I'm from, I love the ginseng mask and serum a lot, the rice toner is something I definitely have on my wishlist along with PKY! Whamisa is definitely not a brand for everyone!
Kelly Driscoll...I know you use the im from honey mask on your face while in the shower, so how many applications would you say you get from one jar? Thanking you kindly 😊
I’ve tried it. I thought it was slightly drying, but not enough to bother me. The biggest issue I had with it, and many sunscreens, is that it PILLS so bad under makeup (meaning it balls up when you put other things on top of it). My holy grail sunscreen that is nice on the skin and works well under makeup is the A’pieu Madecassoside sun cream.
It's had such mixed reviews I felt it was best to avoid! I have such a hard time with sunscreens, I'll have to take a look at the a'pieu one, the madecassoside line is one I'm interested in trying!
Kelly Driscoll girl, the madecassoside line is AMAZING. I use the moisturizer and the sun cream every single day and LOVE them. You should definitely try it out.
As someone with ultra and i mean ultra sensitive skin. Etude house 2x skin barrier, cosrx aha/bha toner are so good and they dont irritate my skin at all espo the barrier like if u have dry cracked skin that burns when u smile and its super sensitive this is the shit
yeah im two months in now and it made my skin really soft its not thebest hydrater out there in the long run but it does its job. in the other side i also tried cosr honey mask and i recommend not buying it. sire it makes ur skin soft but with time ull notice ull start having small itches in ur skin when u go to sleep which gradually become bigger until u wake up with red bumps i ur fave that are super itchy. i do not recommend buying it.
OMGOODNESS! What the heck are you wearing on your eyes? I know this is an old video and you probably won't even see this but I LOVE your eyeshadow! What pallet?
I want to try the Cosrx PH cleanser. I got the salicylic version and it's good. I have faith in Cosrx. I also got the snail, I uses it only at night time. It moisturizes my skin but it takes time to dry. I feel a bit oiliness when I use it when it still damp. The I'm From Honey Mask is so good, I used it once as I got the sample. It moisturize and smoothen my skin a lot. But I like both Cosrx and Klairs. I wonder if I can use the Klairs vit c juice serum with the Cosrx snail?
You're welcome, if you can catch on a sale then it's definitely a great product! I've sometimes seen it go as low as $20 on Amazon and it's a ways out but the black Friday Wishtrend sale is usually a very good deal!
Heyyyy I also bought I'm From Honey Mask and I'm excited to use. Well do you apply using I'm from silicon brush or by yourself only!?. Is that brush wud b helpful to own?!
I love your reviews!! They are very thorough. I love love cosrx snail mucin 96 and the honey sleeping mask! I do wake up with super bouncy, soft, hydrated skin when I use it! Which moisturizers would you recommend for strengthening skin barrier? I currently use Cerave cream, usually mixed with a couple of drops of oil (currently squalene, but I'm always playing with different ones) I would like to get into more hyped up products, but korean skincare very often uses a lot of essential oils/fragrance that easily irritate my skin.
Have you tried Stratia Liquid Gold? It's not K-beauty but it's definitely the ultimate barrier repairing product! My other rec w/o EO's would be cerave moisturizing cream which you already use!
The Soon Jung line is on my list, I'm especially wanting to try their toner and the cream sounds like it will be perfect for spring/summer when my skin is less dry and more combo, thank you for the rec!
Hi my question is about all this essence,serum,moisturiser/cream. Is it necessary to put all of it before putting a make up coz it always end up cakey or after 3 hours outside my make up vanish lol even i put primer..hopefully u can make a video about it..tia
You don't strictly have to follow all these steps! If your skin feels like it's too much then I would only focus in on the thiner products and using a good moisturizer will always serve as a good base. If it feels like your skincare layers are sitting on top of your skin and not absorbing that is usually a good indication that it's too much for your skin. If your makeup looks cakey that can sometimes be helped by using a mist!
Me Too!! I've been using the Missha Artemisia Treatment Essence and I'm in love! I also recently ordered the I'm from Mugwort essence and have been looking at Hanyul products! 😂
I love the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. This product got rid of my dry lips within a few days, and with daily use I never get dry lips anymore. I also wish they would make this in tube form so I can take it with me anywhere.
Have you tried Laneige lip glowy balm? It is almost the same imo- I think they made it in response for people who asked for a tube. I got mine (berry) from yesstyle and it is pretty similar to the lip sleeping mask. Imo, it is not much thinner than the mask- great for on the go. It is the only lip balm I use now. www.yesstyle.com/en/laneige-lip-glowy-balm-4-types-berry/info.html/pid.1067378856?cpid=1067378855

@@KellyDriscoll Heyyyy dear Thanks for replying.. you helped me out of confusion about sleeping masks.. thanks a lot.. Yep like the way you review products.. like your honesty about product and in depth guidance. Keep it up!. I'm your new subscriber now
Stratia Liquid Gold and Cerave Moisturizing Cream really helped me with my moisture barrier struggles! Stay tuned, I have a few videos planned on how I healed my barrier and the products I used!
