Everyone talking about Diggs, but Pollard is doing one hell of a job as well! Super consistent
I been saying this since last year, he's better than Zeke, more crispy, more hitting the hole with speed... I was wishing the panthers came with a open check book when christian mccaffrey got hurt and offered top shelf foreals money for Tony, I think he's still on rookie contract, but yeah Zeke got complacent and the mccarthy offense don't run the ball much, but dallas linemen are dump trucks, my suburban can run through some of those holes...
But yes I agree, Pollard is top shelf for sure even after Zekes day today, he gets paid well to do exactly that... First time in like 15 weeks lol

The whole team looks very dangerous going forward. Everyone is playing well. On both sides of the ball. Lets hope they really mean business this year. Tomorrow will be a good test for the boys offensively.
In this highlight video there was only 2 deep passes, one hit and the other an overthrow. And a couple mid range passes to open guys. I assume you are not talking about this game? If not which games are you talking about where his deep accuracy is showcased?

Dak Prescott’s pocket presence in the game was superb. He’s learned so much from some of the greats that ever played in the league

There are so many people playing great but you really gotta give it to Terrance Steele. We really needed him to step up when La’el went out and he has done really well. Those are the kind of backup players everyone needs!

I remember the game last season where Steele was yanked from the game and they put Zack Martin in his place. That's part of what draws us to sports. Terrance didn't give up, worked and now shows moments where he is pretty good.

As a Panthers fan, this was just further proof we need to fix the O Line. Was also a huge wake up call for our coaches. And although we were robbed of a fumble in the first half, I have nothing but respect for Dallas.
They’re locked in on all facets. Dak looking like a MVP candidate, Zeke looking like an All Pro, Kellen Moore a great OC, Dann Quinn a great DC, Micah Parsons DROY, Trevon Diggs All Pro. Crazy good team, bro.

Pretty good breakdown. It became obvious the Dallas D was attacking the middle of the line of scrimmage, especially on passing downs. It's early, lots of football to be played. Good luck going forward, might be these teams could see each other again.
They talk about the offensive coordinator being so brilliant. Why couldn't he put together a scoring drive in the 3rd? And why after we scored the second time in th 4th didn't we try an onside kick? Panthers gave that game away.

Right? I had flashbacks of Tony Romo and am happy to see Dak come back this strong. Romo was a great QB, accuracy through the roof, clutch wins, comebacks, but riddled with injuries that always plagued him.

Everything is finally coming together. Dak playing at an MVP level. Zeke and Pollard 2 headed monster. Amari playing like he did his rookie year. The line is healthy. Randy Gregory isn't getting suspended for smoking trees anymore. The defense is creating turnovers and making 3rd down stops. And Trevon Diggs is turning into one of the best Corners in the league. How bout Dem cowboys!!!

The refs blew it on that false forward motion stoppage play. That play turned the game.
Dallas is balling and having fun! I’m so glad for them and their fans 👏🏾 the last couple seasons were not easy, but they finally have something special brewing atm

Damn this team is playing so complete, yet they still missing starters: D Law, Lael Collins, Donovan Wilson, Michael Gallup, Keanu Neal, Neville Gallimore.
The only 2 of those who are guaranteed starters are Dlaw and Lael. Idk if I’d take kearse off for Wilson with how he’s been for us, Keanu would probably start but I’m not sure and in 12 personnel which we are running way more this year (2 tight ends, 2 receivers instead of 11 personnel (3 receivers, 1 tight end) I doubt gallup starts and then I’m not taking osa off for nev

As a cowboys hater I’m really impressed by them. Dan Quinn has turned that D right around. Dak is playing at the highest level he ever has. Their O line is playing solid. Elliot and Pollard and running really well. They look like genuine contenders for the NFC championship this year
Love the double threat coming from the running backs. O line is putting in some serious work and making it happen. Absolutely loved the option play between Zeke and Pollard. Receivers were finding gaps - and Dak was putting it on target. Really great play calling from the coach and coordinators. This season is looking promising if everyone can stay healthy.
The way Cooper catches the ball cant be replicated. He's so slick with his technique

Carolina lost and Dallas looked good. But I’m still very impressed with Carolina this year. Both teams could be threats out of the NFC for sure.
That was Carolina’s first real test and they done pretty good so yeah.
I think Carolina is still a year away, but Darnold looks like the franchise QB and their defense is young and hungry. They’re set up to make some noise the next 4-5 years.
@@jackiekinner3826 i wouldnt say pretty good. they had zero sacks, and let 250 rush yards. if the cowboys didnt start playing soft coverage and pulled a few starters on D this game wouldve stayed a blowout, the final score does not describe the game at all. panthers look solid, but they still have a couple more years till they are real contending threats. but they are def young and up and coming.

Saw a clip where Diggs said he was having issues with back tightness in the 4th quarter. Now the decision to hold him out makes sense. All the radio announcers were told yesterday was that he was being kept out of the game for "player management."
As a db myself I respect Diggs and his grind dat boy really became one of my favorite dbs to study his growth is amazing to watch 🏈

Will McClay continues to be the most underrated front office executive in football. His eye for potential is incredible. He drafts insanely well, and finally the budget free agents are putting in work. So far this really does feel like the best Cowboys team since Dez was robbed in Green Bay.
As much as I like the 2014 team that defense was horrible. 2016 was better we just got screwed against Aaron Rodgers get bailed out by non holding calls on david irving

And your D-Line is nice. Literally the first Panther's defensive play of the game was a sack. We just have one of the best O-lines in the league, even with Collins out. Our backup RT has been playing very well, Zack Martin is pretty much a HOF right guard, and Smith is healthy.

@@hamishmcmonkeypants5672 Yeah, we needed that. We're still a couple seasons away from being a real contender. People have been getting ahead of themselves because Rhule has us way ahead of schedule. The defense is only a couple pieces away from being elite, whereas the offense needs to finish retooling the o-line. The future is bright, though.

To me, Darnold still isn't seeing the whole field and he still needs to prove that he can throw the long ball, to keep defenses honest. I think he needs to get his eyes checked...seriously.

@@jaredbrooks7219 Yes, it was a tough challenge for Darnold because Dallas manhandled Carolina in the trenches, both ways. Still, I expect more from him at this stage of his career, given his talent. Whether it's on Sam or the Offensive Coordinator, I think you need to throw an occassional deep ball, just to back off the pass defense.

Since 2014 I haven't seen a strong Cowboys team like this one.
In 2014 they at least got some big wins against elite teams and an elite defense. This team has not yet. But then again I don't think there are any elite defenses in the nfl today.

Whoever applied the most pressure was going to win the game, Exactly what Dallas D did. 2nd half Adjustments are crucial. Carolina had me in the first half
Yup. Dallas was the better team on both sides of the ball. We couldn't generate any pressure on Dak and we couldn't get anything going on the ground, which led to Darnold getting hit almost every time he dropped back.

Dallas Defense let up on the Panthers on the last two scores. They have to understand to never let up. Keep putting on the pressure til the end.

Early in the season,but so far it looks like Cowboys have all the ingredients to contend for a Super Bowl appearance in February .They are solid on offense , have arguably the best CB in the NFC ,great pass rush and are making half time adjustments. Getting rid of the clapper was the best thing JJ has done since their SB winning days in the '90s

Unlike the majority of Cowboys fans, I live in reality. This is the 1st time we've actually looked like Super Bowl contenders since the "Dez caught it" season.
Not one Cowboys fan said we have. But the year after when Dak took over could definitely contend with that season. Even had home field advantage. Lost to Green Bay that year also.

Man, Carolina's offensive line really let Darnold down in the second half. I can't remember a dropoff like that. Maybe it's Dan Quinn's adjustments, maybe it's fatigue, but the Cowboys' defensive line bought real estate in Carolina's backfield.

Coming from a guy who used to not like the cowboys; they are very fun to watch this year and seem like like real playoff contenders. There are virtually no holes on offense and that secondary has really exploded onto the scene. Be a nice change of pace to see Dallas go deep into the playoffs.

I think the big thing i notice lately is Dak is going to this Tight ends more often. They are incredibly open with all the other threats Dallas has. Schultz and Jarwin should get a TON of TDs this year because of that.

I think people forget we're only in year 2 of our rebuild under Rhule. Didn't have McCaffrey for most of teh first season and have only had him for 2.5 games this season. We have a long way to go, but we're trending in the right direction. I think Dallas is a legit Superbowl contender this season if you can stay healthy.

@@obi-wankenobi9708 Yeah, I've been pleasantly surprised so far. The goal this season is just to somehow make the playoffs again. Anything more than that would be the cherry on top. The biggest thing we have left to address is the disaster that is our o-line. It's currently being held together with duct tape and paperclips. The defense is going to be good eventually, but they're still super young so there will be plenty of bumps, like against the Cowboys. I'm optimistic, though.
@@jizzlemcskizzle3076 yeah. to be fair, we played against 2 rookie qbs and Jameis in our first 3 games, so I think the hype around our defense was a little premature. Dallas pretty much confirmed that we're not elite yet, but I like where we're heading.
So many great weapons across the board. If they can just work on their endurance & not start giving up the bigger plays in the 4th quarter, I can really see them doing great things.
I was really doubting the Cowboys this week but knew they were capable. One thing I have noticed this season its not just about the super stars making plays, they are all making plays and playing as whole team!!! Its gonna be real awesome when everyone is off covid, suspensions and injuries in the later half of the season where it really counts!
I am starting to get the feeling that perhaps they did not overpay for Dak after all. Sometimes, things work out for the best. Even for the Cowboys.
