She comes across as a really nice person too and plenty of artists owe their entire careers to her song writing capabilities. I am not certain how it works but it could've taken views from her channel if she couldn't repost, I know not all artists also post on their personal channel after being on SNL. She's an independent artist and not affiliated with most of the major record labels etc, so that could've been an issue.
