The only thing I didn’t like with hello fresh is that they wanted payment & your credit card info before you’re allowed to view & select the meals. I wanted to view the meals first before paying, in case I didn’t like the choices. Great video!
It’s a great product if you are in a rut with cooking. I got it for 2 months because I needed some inspiration for new meals to make at home. Also, I wanted to experiment with some vegetarian meals. (Meat is getting expensive). Big fan of the service. The only downside to perfectly portioned food is the lack of leftovers the next day 😜
I have subscribed to HelloFresh and other on and off over the past few years so we have pretty good collection of recipes from them! Recently, we started picking out two recipes from the cards per week and making a double portion so we only have to cook 2 nights a week in order to have 4 nights of home cooked meals, just have to heat up left overs. We've noticed that its really reduced our take out spending, which is great for both our wallets and health, but means we aren't cooking every night either which is a definite plus for us.
For the cost portion of your video if you look at cost per serving individually it doesn’t seem too bad. But if you want to reasonably determine if hello fresh is sustainable for budgets look at total cost/recipe. If you get 3 meals/week and the total cost of those 3 meals (all other fees included) is $69.93, you pay $23.31 per recipe. You save money by going to the store and getting the ingredients yourself. Plus the cost from the store has the potential to yield more meals at that cost than hello fresh does. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with your review but the cost breakdown is a tad misleading. With discounts it’s more sustainable but the discounted price only gets you so far before you pay full price again (since it is a subscription). Just keep that in mind to anyone reading this!
Everything u just said is what I just said it's cheaper to go out and get the same ingredients and make it yourself and after all that u still will have meals left over for the next day.
Sure, but people make choices also base on time as well. Calculate the gasoline and time (especially for those who work full time and juggle busy schedules), $23.31 per meal --entree and two sides for two people is cheaper than going out for dinner. I'm someone who has cooked for over 35 years for a family of four and now are empty nesters and I know all about budgeting. What meal plans do is take out the guesswork. It is possible to buy a small chicken and sides for less than $23.31, but like a lot of families, there can be a lot of waste. Vegetables that don't get cooked on time, leftovers that no one wants. I've found with the meal plans that there isn't any waste, the meals are balanced (we all lost weight), and we spend less money overall on groceries because we're only buying what we really need (less impulse buying).
@@ezwriter101 See the reason why that is good for u is because u have money coming in on the regular and is about to buy these expensive meal plans unlike most people in this world who are on a fixed budget and can't afford to buy these plans. (I'm just saying please don't come at me with that bs.)
Everyone can make these meals cheaper and people say it cost to much. But, Hello Fresh also needs to make money for their service. There are days we can't just figure out what we want to make for dinner and this service will take care of that for you. I dont think the price is too bad for what you get. Most of our Hello Fresh meals are vegetarian and we can add whatever protein we have on hand.
I think it's a issue of using the cards after you order it. Say you use it for 2 months and stop after. By the time you stop if you chose something different each time you just have to buy those ingredients and save some money instead of eating out that month
We do HelloFresh nearly every week. I get 3 meals with 4 servings. We’ve got 2 young kids (4&6 years old). Usually have about 1 additional serving that my husband takes to work with him the next day. It’s significantly cut down our eating out. We usually get takeout once a week now on our busy day where the kids activities have us getting home after 6pm. And like you said we do really simple, quick meals the nights we don’t have hello fresh. It’s expensive but being able to give my family so much more variety than we’re used to is definitely worth it.
I’ve been using HF since January. I’m a one person household so I cook one night anve have leftovers the next. I started with them to get out of a real food rut and because I have been dieting and I don’t have to weigh and calculate nutritional info for dinners…it makes a huge difference for that. Some things I would offer for new people evaluating HF: the meals with rice always seem to be higher calorie for the food you get. I often add a basic green salad of my own because otherwise, you might end up hungry. HF DOES make mistakes sometimes….a wrong protein or meal kit (& once, a missing meal kit). The way to deal with those situations is to always contact them for a no fuss credit. You can then change (move up) the delivery for the next box and add a meal. My biggest suggestion to save money: go to an every other week approach. To me, the biggest “cost” is the $10 shipping each week. I am on the three meal per week plan, but going every other week saves about $20/month and I just order 4 or 5 meals at a time (save the meals with root veggies for near the end of the two weeks). I did go weekly for two months, but now I know which meals I most like and I have recipe cards and can do some on my own.
When you went weekly for 2 months, did you find it was worth the money? For example did you still save money vs eating out or buying your own random groceries? I'm thinking about trying them and doing it weekly because I work 9 hours so I only eat lunch and dinner, so I figured it might be beneficial in that way but I wasn't sure about EVERY single week, cost wise
@@RyGuy_1776 I think it is worth it. Inflation has made it a better bargain IMO. That said, I try to order every other week now because inflation is impacting my overall budget and it’s hard for me to rationalize $10 in shipping costs weekly. I still have a 3 meal subscription, but I order about 5 meals at a time. HF is flexible in letting you switch up delivery dates or skipping weeks which helps. And, I try to choose a couple meals with less perishable ingredients that I can use in the second week. This way, I’m still enjoying the convenience and variety, but saving about $20/month in shipping. Also, because I like to try new recipes, if I was buying all those condiments and new ingredients, it would cost a ton. Heck, these days, to get a non-McDonalds fast food meal can cost $12-15! I do save recipe cards and have a few things I’ve acquired the basic ingredients for. You can google up the spice blend recipes online if you decide to go DIY on some recipes (I do love the convenience though!).
@@tdelphia1 I totally understand that. I had a friend that had a free box code so I ended up starting it tonight. I'm gonna change my plan to the 4 meal plan for 2 servings, so that should give me 2 meals a day for 4 days straight which gives me a couple days to fend for myself lol at least I'm thinking that's how it'll be for now. I'm really excited to give it a try though and we'll see how the cost turns out once this offer/discounts run out. One thing I was curious about though and im not sure if you're aware, but can you ever use another discount code in the middle of your plan? Like for example this discount I got to start covered 3 boxed right? So, after these 3 boxes could you add another discount code or does it not work that way?
@@RyGuy_1776 As far as I know, you just get to use one offer like that. It’s a good way to start out and try a bunch of different meals and then decide what you want to do after that. I hope you enjoy your meals!
I have to say I love hello fresh. The food is good, very organized and my mom travels a lot so it is very useful as I’m a teenager. The directions are really clear too
I’ll be honest they started sending $75 off or free box coupons for first time members. I just make a free email and a new account use the coupon code and get 6 meals for $36 then cancel my subscription rinse repeat. Not ethical but I’m not employed so it helps save so much in a month I at least get one meal a day.
I live in the eu and am a construction worker(plumber). I have budgetted everything we spend. Hello fresh costs way more/meal, but the worst thing is... i would eat the family box alone. I feel like i am on a diet when we had hello fresh. (+every now and then, what arrived at home was definitly NOT fresh) Paying more for eating less, not brilliant.
You spend almost the same at the grocery store buying all the ingredients but remember that buying at the store, food bought can be used for more than one dish. Condiments don't go to waste if you don't use them in one night. You use them on other dishes. And if its other ingredients usually buying at the store, you get more for the price. For example a pack of tortillas probably brings more tortillas than the hello fresh so you can always use the extra tortillas for another meal another day. If you buy rice, you'll be buying them in bulks and not in small portion sizes. That is where I think Hello Fresh is not cost effective unless you do takeout alot
One thing I just thought of is once you have the RECIPE you can get the ingredients at a grocery store & cook it again ... & again ... so cost per meal can go down.
I recently got a gift card for 18 free meals and am trying to decide whether or not it's worth it. I don't have a drivers license, so we can only shop after my husband gets home from work on pay days. With inflation, it's really hard for me to stick to a budget. I tried meal planning, but again, with how fast inflation seems to happen lately, it just doesn't seem worth it anymore. So it looks like this could help, even for a limited time.
I totally feel you on the food waste point. That was the main reason I signed up for HelloFresh. I was like you and wanted to be able to try new recipes but every time i tried something new from the internet or a cookbook I ended up spending $100+ on the ingredients and then only using what i needed for the recipe and the remainder just sat there in the kitchen. HelloFresh sends exactly what you need so you never end up throwing away food.
Their customer service is top notch! And I love that the recipe cards are reusable. We also use their packing materials for other uses around the house.
I personally use these services every now and then, but I don't agree with the cost comparison. If one of the reasons a person sticks with hello fresh is because the food is so delicious, then it would be no brainer to buy the full size food items from the grocery store to make more than just 2 portions. The price point might be the same, but buying the ingredients from the store will yield more portions, so the cost per portion will go down. Again, saying this based on the assumption that the recipes are so good and it is one of the reasons you stick with the service.
I agree with this!! We definitely do not spend almost $10 per meal when we go to the grocery store and get ingredients for our meals and we make Hello Fresh recipes often. We also purposely cook extra food for leftovers throughout the week.
@@ashtonrayedavis yeah I understand the food waste argument, but that would be for recipes you find online that have a million ingredients and you buy them without knowing how the final dish will taste like.
@@a33m3a yes! And I think Hello Fresh is great to get to try new meals. But we will do it for a month and get a promo code and then cancel. And then a while later they’ll send a promo code to come back so we may do that until the next promo code runs out if there are new meals we want to try. I’ve found a lot of new foods I like this way! It’s just definitely not something I’m interested in doing every week at full price.
Yesss. I thought I was the only one who thought this. I mean. We don't buy in small portion sizes at the store. For example if we eat rice alot, we'll buy the big bags of rice and not a small box for only one meal.
To the critics, obviously getting the ingredients from the store yourself is cheaper. But with the kits you get it shipped to your door without having to hit up the store after work. It’s mostly for busy professionals who don’t have days off. That’s why I use it. We can’t all make it to the store every week, especially when you’re putting in overtime or working nights.
My fiance and I do hellofresh on an off every couple months :) We do it to spruse up our stockpile of recipes and just try new stuff, and when we need to cut it out, we buy the ingredients to remake our favorites 😍
I tried a food service once and while the portions were nice and there was no food waste, the material waste (boxes, freezing materials, portion packaging) was truly insane for how little food we ordered. It's great if it works for you... definitely not for everybody. Thanks for posting!
$10/ 1 meal is expensive for a home cooked meal. You can definitely make a whole family meal for 5 people for $30-$35 that lasts for 3 days. You just have to know how to buy 😊
Just got my first box in the mail today and NO, it is NOT worth it. They give you very little for what you're paying. 60 dollars per box, plus $11 for shipping. I got 1 chicken breast, 1 8oz cut of pork chop, a pack of ground beef, and a few miscellaneous items like rice and a couple of lime. I don't know how this amount is enough to make 3 meals for 2 people. At 60 dollars plus shipping, this is outrageous. Just grab the recipes from their website and buy your own ingredients from the grocery store. Do NOT take this deal. It is not worth it. 70 dollars can buy you so much more than this. It is a waste of money.
I am not sure of the cost. My wife buys and sends it to the house. My wife is an awesome cook. I am not! My wife works on the other side of town, I work from home. They send all the meals and very simple instructions. This has been excellent in teaching me to cook. I love it.
I tried a meal delivery and also found it wasn’t as expensive as it could have been. Meals were more interesting and made for less snacking! I have to pay for grocery delivery so the delivery fees aren’t so shocking.
I think your advice to use HelloFresh to break up the regular meals you make for yourselves, or add highlight meals. Is a great way to manage the costs.
I loved Hello Fresh!! It’s more expensive for me than regular grocery shopping for dinner but waaaay cheaper than eating out! I did stop getting it every week but will grab meals every so often on busy weeks. It’s a godsend and I’ve yet to have a meal my family and I didn’t like which is wild! Haha loved hearing your thoughts !!
Hi Marissa, my girlfriend and I are moving to Washington DC and are considering hello fresh to offset the cost of food which is 10% higher then where we live in CT. Not sure where you live but do u think hello fresh would be good for somebody where the cost of food is generally higher than the national average?
Thanks for this review! When you compared the price between Hello Fresh and the ingredients at the store, how much of the ingredients you bought were in excess? I’m guessing if you are buying more ingredients at the store, then you could possibly double the recipe and the cost would be same. What did you find?
I’m going though a hard time after having an anxiety attack, failing college and being in a depressive episode. I already waste around $100 in DoorDash every week because I don’t have a car and the store is far from my house. I’m gonna try it to see if I get more motivated to get up and do something with my hands. I also only cook for myself, and sometimes my little brother when he’s around.
I wanted to see prices on 4 people and 3 meals and then I ended up purchasing $125.80. I just received the box I'm cooking Brown Sugar Bourbon Pork chops on the pic looks like good meals a big pork chop like a full plate. I just got 1 thick pork chop, 1 apple, and a little potatoes. I just mashed them, and guess what it's just for 1 plate or 2, not 4. They are SCAMERS 😢
Be careful providing this company with your bank account or bank card information. We canceled our "subscription" in March, and we just got hit with a surprise charge for $91. When we called to see how this could have happened the first "customer service representative" was extraordinarily rude and hung up on us. I've had to take the extra measure of getting my bank involved and may have to cancel my wife's card if they do this again.
You get $10 off, so basically you are benefiting. That means you are being compensated by hello fresh. 😂 The more people you get to sign up, the more of a credit you get. That would equate to sponsorship.
I appreciate the review, but what she didn’t get to was the cost of shipping? I’ve been thinking of signing up, but they only seem to give me one order of shipping free, so how much does the shipping add up after that? Does anyone know?
What I don't like about them is that they say you are going to get X amount of free meals but in the end when you pick how many meals and per person u are going to feed after all that they still want $30-$100.00 it's not worth the money for me. And I've tried signing up in the past about the time I got ready to check out they told me that I had to pay $30-100.00 that I just don't have and I can't afford that it's just to much money for me. And also I've tried to sign up for other meals delivery services and I ran into the same problems, it's just to expensive for me personally, and ur still not getting anything for free.
I just tried Everyplate and canceled because it seemed like alot of the recipes were repetitive and carrots were in alot of the meals so I was slightly burned out rather quickly. Have you noticed any issues like this with hello fresh?
I’m super confused about the pricing I’m looking at it right now online and got the same 3 meals a week you did same price $29 but then is the $9.99 or whatever cost per serving an additional charge to the $29 or what?
I'm going to try this. I didn't think it will work because both my son and I cant eat gluten. But looking at the recipe is looks like it would be easy to substitute with what I already have in my pantry. Because I'm only getting this for my kids ( my husband I are on keto). My first box for serving for 2 with 4 meals was only $10. My daughter will cook this and I will cook a simple keto dish for my husband and I. I think my daughter would enjoy cooking something different and having variety. Will include some tried and true family recipes which are cheeper. And give us leftovers. We will see how this works out. I hope it works out. Getting a meal plan together with different diets is a pain.
Do you have a code instead of link because I already signed up before knowing about discounts, and the link won't work 😭 It does say higher discount code will be applied though...
We have been pleased with it. Very tasty, no waste and very few problems. Not real fond of the burger buns they give us but we use different ones, no problem.
Thank you for great information. I'm good cook but next month I will get surgery and stay home three weeks and can't drive for shopping for groceries. Also I'm living alone. I'm really considering it 💓
Thinking of trying this as I havn`t cooked for almost 20 yrs with my motherinlaw being the cook so my hubby says no all the time but I`ve thougt of trying ths for years know so many codes for many good offers,
Thumbs down on the RRR principle: Reduce-Reuse-Recycle Hello Fresh (and the like) use way more packaging than regular grocery. Sure, you can reuse some of it and recycle the rest. But, I'm sure you already have plenty of empty amazon box to play with.
Their prices are outrageous. I can easily cut the price per serving in half by just spending money wisely at the grocery store. For $20 I can create a casserole that will easily feed both of us for dinner, plus both of us for lunch the next day. The crock pot? Very easy to create several meals for $20 or less. I buy pork butts for about $18 each, and after a day of smoking we have pulled pork sandwiches for a dinner and several lunches.
There's pros and cons to both. It depends how much you value your time, the cost difference you save from spending time checking out weekly ads, cutting out coupons and using their app to download the coupon is time that you are spending to save the difference. I can just cook dinner without worrying about all of those things, and use my free time on other things.
I enjoyed Hello Fresh. I signed up for it in 2020 for about 6 months. I was pregnant and then had a newborn. I did love that it was fresh, had good menu items and was convenient. Ultimately, I stopped because I found that their “kid friendly” menu items really weren’t very kid friendly. I don’t know about you, but my kids don’t like scallops lol I felt like the meals were kind of complicated, even when I tried to do the “easy” meals (and I love cooking). I burned a few of the meals and I’ve never done that before! And the last reason was because my husband and I both work out of the home and we like to have leftovers for lunches and with the meals, you just don’t have that. So, overall I think it’s a great service if it works for your family and your situation.
How do you have a $120 dollars off link if its not sponsored? Im looking for reviews from people that dont have an agenda to get people to join hellofresh. How can i trust this review?
It’s a referral link that literally everyone who does Hello Fresh has. You can ask my mom who now subscribes and calls me every night to tell me how good her meal was. 😂
What I do is get the hello fresh account. download all the recipes I wanted to try with ingredients we can access easily to create "my own" cook book using the recipes, once I had everything I wanted. I canceled. for the same price as hello fresh you can cook allot more servings.
I do get yout point about excess products lying around in the cuoboard etc but referring to that as 'food waste' is a bit weird. You only waste the stuff if you ignore it until it goes off. Something like half an onion like you said could be used the next day or chopped and put in the freezer for example. If its a really rare ingredient then worst case scenario you could just make the same recipe again dow the line, topping up the other ingredients. I also think the price comparison doesn't quite work unless you find out exactly how much that portion of each ingredient costs. E.g if a bag of pasta costs £1.20 then one portion is likely 30p or something. What you have worked out in this video as being 'right even' just isn't true lol. As someone else said you'd get way more portions out buying the full size products at the store. Essentially what you're paying for is luxury and convenience which don't get me wrong I TOTALLY get. I like the hello fresh recipes I've used in the past also. It's just that it cannot be claimed that there is barely a markup on this food. If it were worked out fully I think you would be paying not just a little bit but a lot more for the food itself
thank u for this! realized I was spending alot of money on delivery since I work at home and wanted to cook for myself! hello fresh seems like my best option for beginning to learn :D
so to sum up, you don't know that cookbooks exist, because personally I don't see the difference between buying a cookbook and the ingredients you need, and ordering on hellofresh, except that one costs 4 x more than the other.
Basically instead of having to go to the store and take time to plan what you want it just comes to your house instead. Saves time and stress if your busy
@@patricec.2957 well yeah it's a convenience service. You pay the extra for the convenience of not having to use gas or go out of your way for those nights you use it
@@patricec.2957 This is very clearly a service that provides extreme convenience for their target consumers. I don't understand why ppl are angry about that. Like OBVIOUSLY a service that delivers a weekly box of customized groceries to your front door with a deck full of handpicked recipe cards is going to cost you more than throwing on jeans and going to Walmart yourself... Lyfts cost more than public transportation. Hair salons cost more than washing and trimming at home. Paying more for convenience isn't a new concept.
What I’m confused about is do they only send you 3 meals a week because I eat 3 meals a day so for me to pay 114 a week just for food for one day seems expensive

Thank you for this video! I was enjoying using factor for the last 2 years, but recently they removed factor bucks discounts. Now I'm shopping around for a replacement service.
So i get the price comparisons that you're doing , but to me it still seems like yu make out better at the market because yu actually get more of the ingredient which means yu can actually make it more than once whereas with Hello Fresh yu can only make it that one time. Im currently waiting on my first order with them though, just wanted the experience of making new meals. Great review btw.
Totally sponsored. You didn't even include shipping in your tally. If I pick up a pizza, it's 7.99 plus tax, totalling about 11 dollars. But with delivery it jumps to 22 dollars. Not to mention tip for the driver.
All I can think about is the non ecological waste. Just that makes it not worth it. Box, bag, dividers, recepy paper, little containers por just portion of sauce; etc. I know in USA plastic waste is ENORMOUS, and maybe hello fresh’s waste it’s not much bigger than a regular grocery shopping. But at least in a grocery you get one plastic bag for several meals portion of something…
We fell into the same trap that most of the new hello fresh purchasers make……..not knowing how their site and program work, we thought our cost was 89.98 + 9.90 shipping, when we looked at our bank account they had deducted $167.00 and then another 66.00……needless to say we cancelled, feeling very cheated, or at the least misled……...I wish we would have watched your video first! You did a fantastic job we will most likely use your link in a week or two when the account refills a little. Thanks!
What I don't like is there is no one to contact at Hello Fresh, it's all self serve/FAQ. What if a dish in the meal is inedible? No one to contact to answer that question. I really hate raw onions and if there is a meal with lots of itty bitty chopped up onions in the rest of the ingredients such as a chutney or a salad or pico de gio, then the dish is ruined. I can't eat it. My money is wasted.
First, if you like spending these amounts on food it's definitely more healthy than fast food and therefore perfect for some! Second, I would never pay $9.99 per serving for simple meals I have to cook up myself. And third, why would it be food waste? I can just use it to make more servings or another dish. I never make just two servings, why cook every day if you don't have to?! After watching this video I know Hello fresh isn't for me.
I’m trying out Green Chef next week! Doesn’t save us as much money but definitely saves us time and sanity. Trying to figure out how to use it to save us money too

Thank you, this legit review is what I was looking for. I was about to get HelloFresh
It is possible to buy a small chicken and sides for less than $23.31, but like a lot of families, there can be a lot of waste. Vegetables that don't get cooked on time, leftovers that no one wants.
Would it be worth it for 2 meals a day for a week?
I have to say I love hello fresh. The food is good, very organized and my mom travels a lot so it is very useful as I’m a teenager. The directions are really clear too
I’ll be honest they started sending $75 off or free box coupons for first time members. I just make a free email and a new account use the coupon code and get 6 meals for $36 then cancel my subscription rinse repeat. Not ethical but I’m not employed so it helps save so much in a month I at least get one meal a day.
😂😂😂😂
Wait they don't flag you for using the same credit or debit card?
@@nikolebisceglia3903 nope not at all and I used the same phone number
I live in the eu and am a construction worker(plumber).
I have budgetted everything we spend. Hello fresh costs way more/meal, but the worst thing is... i would eat the family box alone. I feel like i am on a diet when we had hello fresh. (+every now and then, what arrived at home was definitly NOT fresh)
Paying more for eating less, not brilliant.
Solid point, but if you live in a food desert where you don’t have access to many fresh or unprocessed foods, hello fresh is a pretty viable option
We can’t all make it to the store every week, especially when you’re putting in overtime or working nights.
we had hello fresh tonight and it was the best meal i've ever made. i'm still thinking about it hours later
My fiance and I do hellofresh on an off every couple months :) We do it to spruse up our stockpile of recipes and just try new stuff, and when we need to cut it out, we buy the ingredients to remake our favorites 😍
They have a page on pinterest with recipes there.
I tried a food service once and while the portions were nice and there was no food waste, the material waste (boxes, freezing materials, portion packaging) was truly insane for how little food we ordered. It's great if it works for you... definitely not for everybody. Thanks for posting!
Most of the box and packing materials are recyclable so we like that!
I use the cardboard in the garden for weed control and the insulation gets used for pipes in the winter
Can you stretch the meal by adding extra protein? Extra chicken breast, or ground beef????
Yes, recipes are just guidelines
We did Hello Fresh a couple of time before having a baby, and we loved it. Never had a meal we didn't like!
You get $10 off, so basically you are benefiting. That means you are being compensated by hello fresh. 😂
The more people you get to sign up, the more of a credit you get. That would equate to sponsorship.
My 6 year old, when asked what his favorite food was, would say- “Hello Fresh!”. 😂 We used it for a while when we were in a rut, and it helped!
I appreciate the review, but what she didn’t get to was the cost of shipping? I’ve been thinking of signing up, but they only seem to give me one order of shipping free, so how much does the shipping add up after that? Does anyone know?
We are getting our first order in a week!! I’m pregnant with my 2nd as well. Due June 17th.
So you don’t get cooked meals?
HelloFresh says this promo code has expired. =(
Thank You for sharing your thoughts in a video.
Are all the ingredients of Hellofresh hard to find in a grocery store? Can you just use the recipe again?
Is this a review or commercial
Im a little late here, but is the protein intake you get from these dishes worth it for someone who prioritizes fitness at the gym?
better eat rice and beans
On another blog I read that meat had previously been frozen?
Thank you for great information. I'm good cook but next month I will get surgery and stay home three weeks and can't drive for shopping for groceries. Also I'm living alone. I'm really considering it 💓
Thinking of trying this as I havn`t cooked for almost 20 yrs with my motherinlaw being the cook so my hubby says no all the time but I`ve thougt of trying ths for years know so many codes for many good offers,
Does this promo code work for US and CAN?
How do I stop receiving Hellofresh adverts
Thumbs down on the RRR principle:
Reduce-Reuse-Recycle
Hello Fresh (and the like) use way more packaging than regular grocery.
How much money does it cost per week?
We use 4 meals every other week, interesting meals, delicious and value for money.
I'm interested in hitting money goals while also not trying to diminish my quality of life! You have yourself a new subscriber :D
I love hello fresh. But, I enjoy dinnerly too! Dinnerly has great meal choices and they are a bit cheaper too!
I’ve been on the fence with Hello Fresh for awhile, thanks for doing this - might get a few meals, really loving your videos!!
My only problem is the portion sizes and some recipes are trash like the apple crumble
I could not find code the code u thought I found it but it said not a code. Please let me know thank you.
There’s a link in the description!
Hey it’s June haha hope your baby is healthy and happy. Thanks for the review
I only get the meal delivery kits if I can get 40% or 50% off - at that point they are great value. Otherwise, cannot justify the $$$
What I do is get the hello fresh account. download all the recipes I wanted to try with ingredients we can access easily to create "my own" cook book using the recipes, once I had everything I wanted. I canceled. for the same price as hello fresh you can cook allot more servings.
Thanks for this review, it's very helpful! I might consider doing Hello Fresh soon, I love the idea of choosing the more expensive protein options.
thank u for this! realized I was spending alot of money on delivery since I work at home and wanted to cook for myself! hello fresh seems like my best option for beginning to learn :D
Can you cancel your subscription anytime?
Yes! And skip weeks whenever you want.
so to sum up, you don't know that cookbooks exist, because personally I don't see the difference between buying a cookbook and the ingredients you need, and ordering on hellofresh, except that one costs 4 x more than the other.
Basically instead of having to go to the store and take time to plan what you want it just comes to your house instead. Saves time and stress if your busy
@@themanofconstantsorrowelia1929 and cost 4 x time more.
We do it just for dinner. Then breakfast and lunch we just make our own.
Put all my info in because i wanted to check out their site. Next thing i am being charged for my frist box without me even clicking order or anything. I canceled my membership and the box is STILL coming in monday. These little things they get you. Very good video, honest and makes me want to try it but there is no one at Hello fresh to answer questions. FAQ does not address my concerns.
*not sponsored* now you have my attention! I love the ideas of these pre-assembled meals to cook, but...(insert two lengthy reasons).
Made a whole review without showing the food at all….
Using this code literally makes this a sponsored video because it gives you $10 per referral.
Can we order without subscription
If you want $80 of there first order let me know.

It technically is a subscription, but you can skip weeks or cancel any time.
If anyone wants $80 of there first order let me know.

I wouldn't call it food waste to have extra sauces so on to make a dish you liked again in the future.
Platform is the same as home chef . Spoiler alert it’s partially owned by hello fresh lol 😂 and Kroger aka Ralph’s.
Thank you so much for your review!it was so helpful
Thank you. I got our first box. I used your discount too. Thanks again.
Meat portions are excruciatingly small. Potatoes are small. If you like to eat, do t order. It's better for senior citizens with light appetites.
I think this depends on the person… the 2 servings feeds me, my husband, and toddler. Some meals we even have leftovers. 🤷🏽♀️
I get that! Almost all of the packing materials that it comes with are recyclable.
😂

Amazing video. thank you Marissa!
I’m trying out Green Chef next week! Doesn’t save us as much money but definitely saves us time and sanity. Trying to figure out how to use it to save us money too
