- The Devil's Backbone is a well known hill in Indiana. Its know for the rocky and aggressive terrain. It's not the steepest hill but its definitely not 2wd friendly! This hill has claimed many machines including atvs, jeeps, sxs and purpose built rock crawlers! It took 3 attempts but I finally got this racing machine to the top! Thank you to The ATV World and Outdoor Origins for capturing different angles of this climb! It was a lot of fun!

_In 2005, there was only 2 shoots to the top, there was no rocks, but it was a straight up vertical wall!_ _It is now completely washed out, and nowhere neeeeeeaaaar as steep!!!_

Was just here last weekend 10/8/23.. the middle line has a 6 foot vertical wall in it now and the trails on the sides of it are completely washed out. Almost impossible to hit any line on it now except the very first line you took up and the furthest trail to the right. Would be awesome to get a big group of people to go there and ride together

My buddy totaled his Raptor on that hill. And I broke my leg out there on the same day lol. It's a badass place but you definitely have to respect it

When we were riding growing up almost none of us ever had brakes, can't imagine riding in the mountains without them, it was still Central NC though, a few hill here and there
I live in Indiana where haspin acres off-road park is at I love to go there and yes it is the devils backbone i have watch it hospitalize people who try to climb it there is three sections of it easy medium and the staff told me they call the hardest one the hospitaliser but man is it fun

Hey bud did you change the stock gearing for riding on the trails? I just picked up a very nice 450R and it's a little bit faster than what I want but the price was right and it's in fantastic shape I mainly do trail riding it was just looking for recommendations on gearing

Iv got a piece of my beta 300 water pump cover about 20 feet on the hill on the main like from where he got stopped on his first 2 attempts. I made it up last year but last trip there a few weeks ago the bike came down just right and lost all my coolant. I think I’ll get it again this year.

How do sports quads do on those rocks. All my trails are rocky like that and I was possibly thinking about getting a sports quad
Takes alittle more skill to toss them around but you can have alot of fun doing it!

What’s the possibility of a decompression pin in the bottom of a 400ex mess something up? I took the clutch cover off and didn’t see I used a magnet to try to see if I could snag it nothing. I turned the motor over 5 times and it turned over fine so it’s not in the gears or crank. I ordered the pin and spring for it. Thinking about just putting it back together now and breaking it in. After I break it in I’m selling it so all I need it to do is last the break in stage and the test rides. What’s your opinion on it?

Hey dude, is power difference between cammed and 11:1 400ex and 450er big or just a little?
It's pretty big to be honest but the 450er has more power than you'll ever really use in the woods
My warrior isn’t cammed but has a 12:1 piston
Better outcome than the time we watched a dude on a Yama Grizz get to the top & flipped it over on himself he got up & ran after it to have it flip on him again 🤬 He worked on it for a Hr & finally made it to the top to a ovation !! Bumps & Bruises thankfully !

The er has electric start, the r is kick start only.
