Hi I see you are there in winter , we want you to go end December and January to Puglia. I thought if we land in Naples and we want to go to Lecce we could do a stop over at Trani to break the trip . We like smaller places churches and old towns and not too keen on big cities. Can you please advise Thank you in advance
Hi! We can definitely recommend Lecce if you appreciate Baroque city centres. Trani is my personal favourite of all the cities we visited. Beautiful and cozy. Apart from all the stuff you’d find recommended to visit, as you like chapels, we can recommend Chiesa Del Miracolo Eucaristico - Cappella Di San Salvatore. It is said that it happened a miracle there around the 10th century. It just a small house, but we found it interesting when some local people we met, took us there. As you would be coming from Naples, it could be worth a thought visiting Matera. Beautiful in a way that also gives one some shivers, given its history. If you’d go there we’d recommend you take a tour guide.
