- On Friday, Lil Woody, real name Kenneth Copeland, stated he believed he was being retaliated against after the murder of alleged YSL rival Donovan Thomas Jr. Copeland testified about how his family members' homes were allegedly shot up, and how his ex-girlfriend and child were shot at after the murder in 2015. "Clearly," Copeland told the prosecutor.

Young Thug faces nearly a dozen charges, including possession of drugs and weapons, participation in criminal street gang activity, and conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act. The rapper was arrested in May of 2022 along with 27 other alleged gang members. Many of those defendants have taken plea deals in the case.
