Thanks for giving a shout out to the band. Seriously, as a musician I would definitely count playing your opening theme as a highlight of my career. For these mob shows this is definitely hands down the best one. Anthony was really there with heavyweights, has good memory, and tells a great story. You aint gonna get better than that
I love this guy because he doesn't bs. Tells it straight up. Very very rare actually because most of these guys refuse to tell the truth about this stuff

The Boston College scandal is actually really briefly mentioned twice in the movie, subtle references anyways- at one point all the guys are sitting in the bar before the heist and on the tv is a BC basketball game. And 2nd- right before Maury is killed he mentions “DiNunzio up in Boston”. It’s literally his last words I think.
I've watched different people's channels and I have to say Anthony is more honest than the others and seems like a person that really made changes. The others are still trying to make money off their past & pushing their products. Anthony is trying to help people. I applaud you

Even though Jimmy, Henry, and Tommy were not made, the movie Goodfellas really gave them notice. A bit of trivia: Tommy is related to 2 Los Angeles mob bosses. His grandfather Rosario DiSimones was boss prior to Jack Dragna, and his uncle Frank DiSimone was boss after Dragna. Frank was also a mob lawyer.
Jimmy is probably the only non Italian who should have been inducted into the family. He operated as a de facto "Made" man for all intents and purposes. Followed the codes , followed the chain of command, kept omerta.
I had read somewhere that Jimmy had taken over Billy Bats' shylocking business while Billy was in jail. When he got out of jail he wanted it back so Jimmy was fine with helping kill Billy instead of giving up the business. Seems like Tommy kinda took the fall on that when Jimmy had a lot of motive too. Maybe Jimmy was making a lot of money and Tommy wasn't so he got clipped for it to smooth it over.
An't Think Back You remember back in the 80 82 .when John had two burlap Bags of aspargrass He Got from a long haul truck Driver from down at the market hunts point titan Produce ?? . The was the First time . I Met John and I think Angie .
Jimmy was apparently closer with Tommy than he was his own kids. Seems like they bonded by being sociopaths. That was pretty accurate. Henry was really close with Jimmy as well. Henry and Tommy weren’t as close as shown in the movie though. Henry would mostly hang with Paul Vario’s son. The double date with Karen was with Paul Vario’s son, not Tommy. I think Henry was scared of Tommy
Correct me if I’m wrong but- I’m pretty sure as a kid he was later adopted by a really great family after he ran away from the family that abused him. It may have not been a legal adoption but I’m almost positive this wealthy family tried to help him out as best they could but he was already like 16-18 years old so the damage was already done and Jimmy wasn’t planning on staying with them much longer. But he really enjoyed staying with them but by then he was already getting into trouble legally and on the streets.

I read that Jimmy Burke was a good earner and was almost treated like a made man. That's probably why he got a pass on the Batts slaying.
