@confederatenation9544 Absolutely agree. Ask Al Gore what a 3rd party candidate can do. Nadar only took a few votes from Gore, but was enough to move Florida into Bush's category. No Nader and it would have been President Gore. Same thing could very easily happen here in any of the 6 critical swing states. It's about siphoning off a few votes here or there that could have huge difference.
When it comes to alternative candidates, Frank Luntz mentions everyone BUT RFK Jr- despite the fact that he's ALREADY RUNNING!!! That speaks volumes about Frank Luntz and about how much the establishment hates / fears RFK Jr.

Frank was talking about the need for an independent candidate, because Biden is so weak, and they changed the subject. People do want someone else besides Biden. That's why so many are undecided. They will either choose the lesser of two evils or not vote if it's Trump & Biden on election day.

Dems aren't united. They still have centrist Democrats and they are at odds with the "progressive" wing of the party. You can see the division playing out over the Hamas/Israel issue. Biden is getting a lot of heat from the "progressives" over his support for Israel. They want Israel gone. Other issues as well. Fetterman recently spoke about the need for a secure border. That infuriated the "progressives". They want open borders. So there are definite divisions in the Dem party

I’m an Independent and voted Republican since Reagan, until Trump. I will not vote for a Third Party candidate if it would help Trump and I like Larry Hogan. However, if Mark Cuban runs with someone like Hogan running with him and polls show he could win I would vote for that ticket.
