You guys are super entertaining I really enjoy keeping up with your adventures I’m sure it’s not all sunshine and rainbows but it looks pretty damn good haha
my shipmate was hitchhiking in st vincent and left her wallet in a car . the guy found it and drove around for two hours trying to find her and return it . you never know
Thats great to hear! Yeah, it wasn't as bad as what we were told. We met a couple who charter out of there every week and have done so for the last 6years and they say it's safe too.
Awww…those eyes when you told Jackson couldn’t come ashore yet. Ouch! He’s worth any hassle of checking in especially when securing your boat in dicey harbours. How was St Vincent’s? Did it exceed expectations?
haha yeah he wasn't too happy lol. To be honest, we didn't stay long because other cruisers made us worried about break ins at anchor etc, but we felt very welcome for the few days we were there and would definitely go back. The check in was super easy, just funny how they are all on island time, I still need to get used to that one haha, but the guys there were really cool and friendly. We met lots of people who go there all the time, so it can't be too bad there.
❤ Jackson always reminds me of my beloved Border Collie. If y’all make it over to the Florida Keys, I’d love to meet y’all. My house and boat is in Marathon and a view of a popular anchorage for cruisers.
We cant wait to get there, that would be amazing! We have lots of subscribers in Florida, when we head up there we will definitely post it on Instagram and try meet as many of you guys as possible, i super excited for that!!!
Glad Jackson finally has his papers. You had some great sail trim in this one, thought that is it, used to race Hobie's with the Waco Kid & he looked a lot like you. Waco could trim to win too.
I was wondering would you ever do a video on how sailing in the med compares to the Caribbean. As in sailing conditions and checking in prices and food in general prices. How easy it is to get stuff and how people are with yachties
The netting is still ok around the boat, I just had to make some openings for the lines on the whisker pole when we crossed the Atlantic! We had to run the sheets back from outside of the life lines 😀
Well I'll be, I finally figured out a way so I can make comments again, yea! I don't know if I told you but I'm 64 years old and have had 5 neck surgeries. I think that if I have to look up the mast I'll have to bend my knees because the neck sure isn't going to bend, lol. I've got other physical issues that I'm going to just have to work around. Had my dog out playing frisbee, she's female and what a tease. I'm not sure what workable electronics are on my boat but I bought a tablet for navionics, do y'all do something like that?
Yes we use an ipad, it needs to be one of the gps ones. We only use our boat chart plotter now for the radar. Our AIS even displays on Navionics too now. Technology has made everything so easy these days, every once and a while I need to freshen up on my paper charts though so I don't forget lol
I lived in blue lagoon, st vincent for a year and a half as Barefoot Yacht Charters general manager plus I’ve been selling the Grenadines for over six years if you’d like some tips on where to go and what to do let me know.
oh wow thats awesome! We skipped St Vincent because we heard it was unsafe, but felt very welcomed when we arrived! We have really enjoyed the Grenadines, when we head back up theres a place where Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed on St Vincent. We want see that on the way back up!
@@SailingSunday yea plan that for a day trip, not overnight. Unfortunately The further north you go the less safe it is. Try to arrange for a trip to Dark View Falls. Did you know that it was also filmed in the Tobago Keys. On ‘Petit Tabac’. That is where she burned up his rum stash.
@@SailingSunday sadly. Most places are so corrupt that they will confiscate almost anything. The sailing channel that has the family on a cat in the pacific had a spear gun taken because it was a “weapon”. Where you are, firearms are actively hunted for on boats by customs. Sadly, you are experiencing the exact reason why so many of us in the USA. fight so hard to keep our right to own and carry firearms. Think how much more secure you would feel if you had a rifle or shotgun safely stowed on board in high risk areas like this. You guys are amazing. Stay safe. The world isn’t getting any safer.
Nice close up of Ryan's hairy leg 😂😂 Love how you two take everything in stride and are living your best life. 🤗💞

O'right, thank you! haha, thats awesome, such a cool compliment! :)
Awwww Jackson, how good is he! Sail Safe Guys, Ant & Cid. xx
He did so well that week!
I think having a big dog on board will definitely help against anyone trying to get on board.
Yes totally!!! Sometimes he scares us when we pull up to our own boat! lol
I was wondering would you ever do a video on how sailing in the med compares to the Caribbean. As in sailing conditions and checking in prices and food in general prices. How easy it is to get stuff and how people are with yachties
Yes definitely, thats a great idea!!! Theres so much we could discuss about it too! We will do that soon!
Your netting along the sides is really looking wore out, don't want Jackson to fall off, over the side.......

@Mark Pratley I am chartering from Barefoot Yacht Charters in February 2023 -- Would love to pick your brain about where to go and where not to!
@@crystalreh I would be happy to. Is there a way I can IM with you? or do you prefer here?
@Mark Pratley unfortunately RUclips has no IM function and they keep deleting my comments with my e-mail in it lol.
😂😂 St Vincent sounds like my home. Good old South Africa. Held up at gun point.
oh jeez! 😂😂
Cheers sexy legs! Oh and you were pretty good as well Brittni 😂!
Good stuff guy’s, Just send the unedited parts to our normal spot Ryan? Lol..
hahaha!
@@SailingSunday I forgot that was a secret 🤫. 😂
It’s such a tragic place to visit where the criminals, by virtue of ignoring law. Have functionally more rights than the law abiding.
Yeah, it's interesting out here. I feel we definitely need to carry some sort of weapons, on the boat and be vigilant at all times!
@@SailingSunday I was thinking about "weapons". High-pressure water hose? 2" hose at 200 psi!
WAJAX gas pumps for forest fire fighting would work.
Hell, you just described most big cities in The U.S. these dazes!!
@@SailingSunday Get a good spear gun!! plus ya can catch some tasty fish feast's!
