- I maxed out the L-Gaim Mk.II and decided to show it off. It basically plays like a faster Auge but it can also transform. This stage is rather generic but it has an amazing opening cutscene.

"Tell me, have you seen THIS MAN?"
I love hearing that song from G Gundam kick in, also the game looks pretty good.
The Buster Launcher made this game so easy. lol
Makes me cringe at the idea of what would happen if something from Five Star Stories were in something like this.
They would be destroyed in a typical mission of ACE because for all I know, the Mortar Headds, or as I personally know them as, Motorheads are practically walking tanks. And even if they had the L-Gaim's fancy buster rifle, they wouldn't be doing much except for tanking enemy shots and praying to whoever rules the Joker System that they'll land a shot. Daba and his L-Gaim get a pass here because his mech has a massive set of solar-powered jet boosters and the ability to become a starfighter on the fly.
@Kaboose98 Please, Daba's L-Gaim Mk II has been using a buster launcher and transforming since alomost two decades before that crappy gundam 00 came along.
A.C.E 2 (Another's Century Episode 2)
I personally think that no 1 should use a rifle unless you are Neal or Lyle Dylandy A.K.A Lockon Stratus. Also that no 1 should be able to transform unless your Halelluja or Alelluja Haptism. Gundam 00 and G Gundam are by far my most favorite. 00 Riser FTW!!!
I have to say, I miss how the L-Gaim units played in ACE 2. Yeah, the Valkyrie GERWALK and Battleoid modes felt kind of like it, but it felt like the heavy metals they were a bit heavier, and so it seemed a bit more strategic how you controlled them. There was also a short lag during the transformation of the Stark Dyne/L-Gaim Mk. II that helped with this heavier feel.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the reason the ACE and SRW games never made it into the American market is because of licensing issues. They would not only need to get permission from the animation studio behind each series, but they would need to get permission from the American distributors and if even ONE company says no, they would have to do ridiculous amounts of work to cut all content from that series out and fix potential plot holes and such that would result.
I have the 3rd game of this series and they probably didn't release due too most of the mecha animes in that game weren't licensed here.
Aww, you let one of the enemies escape...
I really need to get a copy of the vocal version of this. I gave my old version to a friend as a gift.
@EVILgnarlygnome
Fuckin Agreed, nothing at all against 00, but damn, to use 00 characters as a standard when comparing it to series that predate and surpass it in just about every way is pretty much blasphemy.
I almost forgot about how accurate the size differences are- I was wondering why you were using powerful shots on small enemies until I realized they were tracers (that's the right term, right?)!
@Lwenzlaff That's exactly the reason. And in ACE 3, they even started using the original full-lyric versions of the theme songs, so that would make it even harder.
