What's so good is she's been a dance teacher for so many years. She has seen countless mothers living far too vicariously through their little darlings get way too emotionally involved and create fireworks over little things. While she hates it when she gets dragged into it, it's really entertaining for her to watch. You can tell she's like "yep, my normal weekly entertainment"
