Instead of raising downtown higher, what if you find shorter legs, and lower the beachfront instead with a lower table? Or since the beachfront won't be as deep, maybe you don't need another table, but some cabinet/shelves that's shorter than the table. This will also give you Lego storage space in the front as well.
Ah, yes, the classic "oops, I definitely meant to do that" mindset. Mistakes? Nah, they’re just “happy accidents” waiting to be turned into a life lesson.
As others have said-I like the bluebells for a LEGO room. You might think about color changing smart lightbulbs for the main light fixture. I use Philips HUE bulbs and I like being able to dim and brighten the lights, change the color to an orange sunset or dark evening or bright shiny day. Keep up the work.
Ooh I'll have to look into this! I'm not thrilled with the current lighting, so I'm definitely interested in finding other solutions. Plus having sunsets would be really neat!
I think I should make it clear. It was not a chain saw, it was an oscillating saw. The decorative ring that locked the screws of the fan to the ceiling was stuck so I had to cut it off to remove the fan...
I love the new layout. Great job on the city move and the updates to it. This is really inspiring as we just finished the final touches on our Lego room.
Fun!! Congrats on being finished with your LEGO room! It's overwhelming but so fun having a blank slate to work with! Good luck with getting started on filling your space!
For Modular’s you can’t find a place for maybe remove them and put and put countryside Forrest’s and farms. A little nature in the background can make the city look extra good plus the mini figures need to eat lol.
While your city is in flux, I'll tell what I did to my Daily Bugle to improve it. DB has 8 studs front and back. I reduced it to 4 in back and 12 in front. Which means you can now put Sandman on the sidewalk. But you can do one better, yours is milsed. You can "dig" a pit and have him burst out of the sidewalk (coming out of the sewer, if you will), be an interesting diorama.
I think I remember you saying in one previous video that your "Upper Ladyburg" didn't turn out the way that you wanted, because of the plywood risers. Are you still going to try building a hillside in the new layout? That will be a loooot of green pieces. 😄
Hey Emmasaurus, I love your videos and your enthusiasm is infectious. Your new Ladyburg is coming along nicely. You’ve inspired me to start a city in my spare bedroom. I think some Canadian Rocky Mountains would look good in the corner of your city. Search Lake Louis, Alberta for reference.
Omg I just recently fell in love with Lego wanting to get one every day but unfortunately I can’t to much money and I’m only a kid I would love all of the extra Lego sets you have 😂 I’m not saying send them to me I’m just saying I’m super jealous keep up the good work em
I agree - I love the dog park so I'll probably build a new version of it and include something similar in that back area! A downtown area would be nice but really, those buildings are lined along the back wall right now because idk where else I could put them and I'm not ready to put them in bags. Maybe it's time to get more creative with other displays in our house so I can still display those sets!
Hi Emily 😊 I know you have never replyed back to me. Been following you fair few years .before you lost your job. When you was starting out infact .amazed how full on. You got with. Stuff with in the Lego community. Since thos Orly day s. 😊 Green grocer ..😊 yes for sure that s going to be added in the city
Have a look at sea walls - they tend to have some sort of curve in either the bottom or top or both to deflect high tides so something like that might add a little more interest into the wall. I like the idea of height, I’m trying to work that into my city, but working in a UK loft/attic has height challenges already 😂😂
Hey Emma, thank you so much for posting Lego city videos! It’s given me so much inspiration for mine, and now I can’t stop collecting the Modular’s. Yours is so cool! Keep up the amazing content.😁♥️ Question if you don’t mind answering: Is the town hall worth buying, I’m on the verge of getting on off EBay, but I’m not sure if it’s worth more than a few hundred?
For us it was worth it to buy because we enjoy collecting the modular buildings! But at a certain point it's a LOT of money and feels like it isn't worth it. For example, I still am missing Cafe Corner but it's over $1000 (I believe it's valued around $3000??) and I just can't justify that. Maybe another option would be to part it out yourself or switch out certain colors/elements to find a more affordable version! I'm close to doing that with Cafe Corner because it's just SO MUCH money
Emily new Lego. Room looks fantastic happy Lego day
Happy LEGO Day!! And thank you Warren! I hope you're doing well!
@@Emmasaurusyes thanks started building a lego city space centre with the galactic moduler ship and new city space rover

This makes me want to work on my city. I too am learning a lot about what not to do in a Lego city.
I like the idea of adding graffiti to the wall
That road looks sooo cool!!!!
thanks!! I'm really happy with it and I think it'll be cool once the streetcar starts running!
I love the blue walls. Great set up
The cobblestone paths look great!
Well done 👍 👏👏

Great City update Emily ❤
thanks Nate! I'm feeling super motivated and optimistic with the new space!
Awesome!😊
I initially thought the sea wall was to keep out sea monsters.
I see a video by Emmasaurus, I click, I watch, I love.
Always good to see you Party Queen!
Omggg i love your cityyyy
Looks good.
Yayayayayaya!!!! A city update!!!!!
Great video ❤🎉
You can have the beach next to the downtown area. It will just be like one of those beach strips like in Florida or California.
Let’s goo!!! Amazing video as always
I'm excited to keep working on the city! Lots of elevation changes and new builds are in the works :)
I Love Your City
Very exquisite🎉
Thanks so much! I'm really happy with how it turned out!
Can you paint clouds on your room walls please?
EMMA BURG SOUNDS COOLER
I live in Seattle and our downtown is built on the waterfront. So don't think you shouldn't.
Looking real good…can’t wait to start mine.
what is the name of the IKEA table you use?
You're back!!😍
For Modular’s you can’t find a place for maybe remove them and put and put countryside Forrest’s and farms. A little nature in the background can make the city look extra good plus the mini figures need to eat lol.
Ladyburg 2.0!
I’d keep the yellowed pieces in Town Hall…. It makes it look very realistic!
hmm actually that's a good point! maybe I will leave it - at least for now :)
@@Emmasaurus the new room is looking great 🎉

Do you have plain in lego city
Would you ever put open back lego city sets in your city?
Yay new update video.
Hey LEGO.....
Bring back taped boxes. They fold down nicely.
The glued boxes are annoying.

Great video 🎉 I’ve missed your content so much.
Looks really cool. Will you remove the dog park?
The cobblestone looks spectacular! Must have been satisfying to see it complete
I think the Modular’s you don’t know what to do with like diagon alley should be taken out and you can add back the dog park

I’m so happy because it’s my birthday and you posted
yay happy birthday!!
Yesterday, I literally thought about the fact that I haven't seen a new Emma vid in a while, and here you are!! 🎉🎉
It's been a bit busy but I'm finally back to making content! 🤗 lots more to come!
Under One Hour!
Love the Taylor Swift shirt 💚💛💜♥🩵🖤💖🩶🤎💙🖤
An unopened unbuilt Lego set collection would be fun to see! Can’t wait for all of the upcoming updates ☺️
Do you have me in your city?
Do you have a duck please tell me and please shout out me I never got shout out
Please don't build an elevation at the front of your city. Needs to be at the back. Literal build a small sea wall and leave it at that.
