Picayune is an actual word as well. It means trivial, small, and/or worthless. Very thematically fitting.
(I also do not actually think the true ending is, uh, actually really something that happens. Always saw it as more of a dream they were given by Picayune.)

I didn’t really knew the word meaning before, neat!
I don’t personally think the game was all just a dream, cause cyl was originally Picayune’s body, taken onto a life of their own. While Picayune herself is also there in the ending.
I kinda wish the ending had more details and lasted longer
