i see in the background in the corn field is your sister s final resting place. it is nicely maintained with the grass cutting and the nice fenced area.wonderful show of respect for a loved one
You’re the only person I’ve heard call a John Deere gator a jitney since my late grandad. He died in ‘01 and everyone looks at me weird when I call our Rangers jitneys. Lol!
Hi Westley,Edward from Vermont, the corn here is crazy, had so much rain all summer, some have started chopping corn for silage, first time last year I got to see one of the combinations pick corn, pretty frigen awesome
Your content is always helpful Wes. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Iam not a farmer but do grow my own garden and can make a good profit from it . If I wanted to . But I chose to keep it for my self cause I know ware it came from . And love it every time .
Here in the middle of NC..some farmers have already harvested corn. Sure didn't look like a good year. We a dry spell for a while, then plenty of rain.
Based on the freight mileage, would it make sense to contract with a large dairy or feedlot to offload the corn/beans? Understand the price may not be quite as high but saving freight time and fuel might be a reasonable offset allowing other farm activities than trucking.
I am glad I was able to watch your previous video before I was taken down. Trump was absolutely right when he talked about people eating cats and other peoples pets. I two had seen the videos on X the day before the debate.
Hey Wes here on the easternshore if you dig 2ft down you hit the watertable. We live about 3 to 4 ft above sealevel. Where es farmer is he lives close to the Atlantic ocean on my side i live on the Chesapeake bay. In the spring ive seen whole farms flooded with saltwater from a king tide and a nw wind. Talk about strang soil it takes a ton of lime bc of the salt in our soils.
I always enjoy your chats We can get 60+/- with 200 To 250 lbs of potash and maybe a micro nutrient or two Boron , zinc or sulfur. Southern Michigan $ 150 ground

Always a pleasure.
In general, most people really don’t know how well they have it till they have a difficult situation. Keep on keeping on one lonely Farmer.
Looks good, Wes. For the year you have had with rain I think you will be surprised with your harvest.
Great vid, keep 'em coming.

Have you looked at fixation balansa clover? I switched to it from crimson. Might want to try it some this year and compare.

Oliver66 Farmboy was showing his 96 day corn last week. I have seen his corn, your corn and Timmycornpicker, now.
Hmmm September first cut? Still strange
There are some fields of soybeans here in Vermont where I live, but not many
Grass seems nice and green. We are burnt up and dry in WV. Did you find out anything on Warren ?

Did they put the cover crop on that field?
I washed the whole damn video and I always do
We think when we ripped the ground this winter it must of helped our corn with the drought here
Make “ok so” great again!!!!!
