Transderm Scōp very effective against seasickness in the afflicted. :) My roughest crossing was on a tiny oldskool ferry called S.S Falaise.. Dieppe> Newhaven as a little kid...they closed the decks, and being inside was not much fun.
Do cruise ships encounter a lot of rogue waves? If so, how often? I've never been on a cruise ship out in the high seas before and I likely won't as I don't have that much interest in going on a cruise anywhere, but I do find rogue waves to be a bit more interesting which is why I am asking.
@@michaelf4506 The Irish sea is prone to short wave frequencies and confused seas so it's sea sick inducing and can get quite nasty out there. It claimed my boat in Holyhead marina, along with 80 others.
@@michaelf4506 not disagreeing but a nice hot mid summer's day goin over to wales for a weekend on the ferry can be a great journey, just sit out on deck with a few cold ones and there's nothing better

I was expecting the glass to get smashed in, with water flooding everywhere and people running, and screaming for their lives ! A little overly dramatic, I guess ! Thanks anyway ! 👍🇨🇦✌️
On that 7th floor footage I can't believe people laugh, it's like they think if they pretend it's not dangerous, I'm a man of the sea for 45 years IV been on the sea and you don't want to laugh it can smash that whole boat and drown you all. Never think that a boat is safe because if seen and IV been on a small boat that when I was in my 20s I thought the ocean was mine to conquer and a huge wave flipped our fishing boat over and we all got thrown in freezing cold water off Tasmania Australia in the bass strait and we got rescued thank god omg i have tears down my face thinking we were so lucky they came or 5 of my good mates and I would have died and it's all my fault because they told me it was to rough but I called them pu..ies but when the huge waves came I was begging god to please help I had played with mother nature and I thought I could handle anything and my best mate has a head injury and nearly dies because it's my fault. I can't believe the Westpac helicopter saved us all. We were set to die I'll never laugh at the ocean ever again. And my mates wife slapped me so hard I felt so ashamed of myself for making them feel like wimps when I was the biggest wimp when I saw the side of the waves. And it was so cold my god I thought we had 10 minits but we lasted in the water for 2 hours. And the boat was still there but inside down and we held on to it but huge waves thru it into us it was so dangerous I couldn't believe how waves could through this inside down boat like thru the air I held on to a rope and I went with it and it allmost ripped my arms off. I never talk about this to anyone this is the first time IV spoke of it in over 25 years and I still feel the fear. Tears running down my face I was so worried about my friends I thought how will I tell if I survived how would I tell there families and I know omg I'm just so lucky I got a second chance. Don't laugh when the waves are trying to take you down. The ocean is a beast and it wants respect and if don't give it it will make you learn.

The caption you wrote were funny. ALSO respect for the timestamp in the title.
As I am a very busy guy flicking through all of these vids.
It's always astounded me how much shit is allowed to exist unsecured on a ship that encounters high seas.
I loved the subtitles. Made my evening.
"We're going down by the helm, head for the muster stations. . ....."
.
"Aaaa ha ha ha !"
Just Think how much cheaper it would be to go stand in the middle of a busy road for an afternoon in a scenic location.
Took that ferry once...it was calm and I was very happy about it...
"Oh no there goes Tokyo
Go, Go Godzilla!"
You've have me laughing on the way down ... blub blub blub (ha ha ha) 😅
Happy to hear that somebody likes my absurd sens of humor.
Not sure how the algorithm brought me here, but glad I got to see this
LOL love the captions

Dalga deyince ben de bir şey sandım. Bu havada sandalla balık tutuyoruz biz.
Made this trip many times Always like this, but absolutely no worries.
Spray went over the ship, not the wave, big difference.
Oh hush. He's not doing journalism here.

Looks like a Universal Studios ride 😂
Impressive engineering
Peoples are wee, Ocean be massive!
You can dance the salsa. It's easy right now. Just stand still and let the ship undulate for you...
