Ken and Deirdre with their very unconscious in a coma daughter Tracy(played by Dawn Acton). Hope Tracy pulls through so she can identify who the guy was that drugged her resulting Tracy being in the hospital. A mini reunion for Ken and Deirdre at Tracy's side.
That Martin Platt was the most awful actor. Just a really irritating person. Skip onto the next scene when he comes on. The others are superb overall. Vera tops the lot! She’s so funny!
I don't think he was awful, but his character was irritating. Bet Lynch's character is obviously popular, but, apart from in small bursts, I can't really appreciate her. She has a good scene or line every twenty or so episodes, but otherwise, she gets too many tired one-liners. I don't like the way she refers to everyone as 'cock', it's dreadful. And she permanently looks like a tarty throwback from the 1960s'. Who had a beehive and wore leopard print in the 90s, ffs?
If we remember, Martin begged Gail to be part of her family, the kids, he was a petulant child when she said no gave him a chance to realise he was probably too young. Now he does nothing but complain about the kids, has a stupid affair, then says Gail is out of proportion for being upset about him cheating on her. Men smh 😂
Don't blame Nick really. I understand clearly why Nick has it in for Martin is because Nick(Nicky) found out that Martin has been messing around behind his mother Gail's back with another woman. Nicky loves his mother but right now he just hates Martin and that I don't blame Nick for feeling this way. Because there's a comparison that Martin is not Brian. And that's very understandable really. I understand where Nicky is coming from. He's Brian and Gail's son. And Sarah is Brian and Gail's daughter not Martin's kids. The only link Martin has to Gail is their son David Platt and David's children Max Turner and Lily Platt. You see here. Don is having a barmy with Josie over his past history with wife Ivy and some woman called Denise. And Nick comes knocking on his grandfather Don's door after a huge row with his stepdad Martin Platt and when Don wasn't there for Nick. Nick saw his grandmother Audrey Roberts in the car. And Audrey was sensing something is up with Nicky since he walked out after the row with Martin. Nicky eventually tells Audrey what the row with Martin was about. Martin is seeing another woman behind Gail's back and is hiding it from Gail. However Gail finds out about Nicky and Martin's row and isn't happy that Martin putting his hands on her son Nick like he did and then Gail and Martin have a row afterwards.
The irony of the writers with Gail’s script after she was gonna disappear to Australia leaving both husband and kids behind….she needs a wake up call!!! 🤔😳

What is it with the Platt's and Christmas, getting cheated on? Kylie slept w Nick and cheated on David on Christmas as well years later. Holiday generosity perhaps smh
Now we all know that Audrey can’t keep her mouth shut so why do they keep telling her things and get upset when they all know she can’t keep her mouth shut
Nick is a brat. So badly brought up by doting Gail. The chaos in that house. That's why kids misbehave....it's the parents winding them up. They get them over excited and then wonder why they go off the rails. No stability. I'm with Percy on most things!! Oh no, here come the brickbats!
Can anyone explain why Gail and Martin have to "cook tea" every night when all Gail has to do is bring a meal home from the cafe? Even if they want sommat different that's not on the regular menu, she could still cook it at the cafe and save on their leckie bill. And she's supposed to be supermom.

Helen says on the Platt family album special he (Martin) was fickle, and they were all younger lol. Sean was getting a bit portly by the time Martin had a relationship with the other nurse Rebecca a few years later, so probably wasn’t too happy about doing bed scenes with his top off lol.
hes even more portly nowadays its no surprise though he enjoys cheese, apple strudels, welsh rarebit and sourdough bread but at least he plays quash to keep fit i mean hes no fred elliott is he
Ken and Deirdre with their very unconscious in a coma daughter Tracy(played by Dawn Acton). Hope Tracy pulls through so she can identify who the guy was that drugged her resulting Tracy being in the hospital. A mini reunion for Ken and Deirdre at Tracy's side.
Nick would end up working for Mike in 2004 lol
Mike Baldwin mouths wtf at 1:23:04
That Martin Platt was the most awful actor.
Men smh 😂
I know we remind ourselves about Ken's selfishness and haphazard direction with women, but he was quite right to have told Denise off.
Anyone else notice that Gail has had the same bag since the early 70's ???
Gail received the bag as a gift for her 21st birthday from Suzi Birchall.
2:04;23 - shouldn't it be Percy apologising to Vera there? He practically threw the poor woman.
Here here
23:58 Watch the Rovers Return implode!!!
Hi, do you know what year this was showed on itv3, I'm guessing 2020?
How old was Tracy in this video
18
Reg and his rug made me laugh 😆 I like reg I think he played a good part in Corrie always made me giggle 🤭 especially when he sang on karaoke 🎤, and I also liked Maude she made me laugh 😆 when she would call reg a prat 😂😂😂
Ken's got some lovely qualities. Deirdre always seems a bit wooden to me. She always looks lovely but she's never very convincing in her role. These scenes show the deep relationship she and Ken have and I do like this. It adds such depth to the storyline.
Kareoke Reg was The Best!
What is it with the Platt's and Christmas, getting cheated on? Kylie slept w Nick and cheated on David on Christmas as well years later. Holiday generosity perhaps smh
They do those storylines at Xmas because they know the viewing figures will be high. Viewers expect a bit of scandal at Xmas.
A big part of this is because Christmas is also David's birthday - hence the double whammy.
Gail does my head in.
Now we all know that Audrey can’t keep her mouth shut so why do they keep telling her things and get upset when they all know she can’t keep her mouth shut
Too true!!You can see it coming. Too predictable!!
Why does Nick always hate on Martin. I understand Martin had a fling this time, but even before Nick wasn't nice to him
He isn't his real father so i guess Nick feels angry about it even though its not Martin's fault that Brian died.
Nick is a brat. So badly brought up by doting Gail. The chaos in that house. That's why kids misbehave....it's the parents winding them up. They get them over excited and then wonder why they go off the rails. No stability. I'm with Percy on most things!! Oh no, here come the brickbats!
Reg Holdsworth was a despicable character not much different from the real man (see celebrity big brother)
I agree. I can't stand to watch him and have to fast-forward over most of his scenes. Horrible man and all that gurning!
Yeah Melanie
Lizs skirts it is the 90ts not the 60ts
Elton John definitely styles himself off reg!!!!
Is Martin doing anyone else’s head in? He is so annoying!
He was always like that for his entire time on the show
@@EveHenleySpread I do agree but more so come 1995! 🙈
Poor Gail.
OMFG ….they didn’t half drag this dull story of Martin’s infidelity out and tested Helen Worth’ s ‘acting’ to the max 🤔😳🤷🏼♂️
I want Emily to talk faster
Can anyone explain why Gail and Martin have to "cook tea" every night when all Gail has to do is bring a meal home from the cafe? Even if they want sommat different that's not on the regular menu, she could still cook it at the cafe and save on their leckie bill. And she's supposed to be supermom.
I do wish the full credits had been included for each ep.
4:28:40 Siouxsie!
Oh so Jack COULD be good with children? It's just that he was an absolute disgrace to Terry...but of course Terry is the bad guy from the last couple of years forward ...🙄
Never seen so many actors pointing in my life. Pointing to their own chests EVERY time they talk about themselves. Wagging their finger at everyone else. Must have all gone to the same bad acting coach.
With the advent of the McDonald's and the Battersby's was the start of a downward fall for coronation Street
