If it is true that Jed would have to give up the 2nd and 5th round draft picks next July in order to sign Bregman.... don't think Jed would do that... there may have been some hype about Cubs possible interest released to help pressure the Astro to sweeten the Pressly trade money and help finish that deal... now the hype may die down w Pressly deal completed...
