Great job by Sahadev and Patrick. You had the sense to allow Rome's substantial Astros knowledge emerge and to let him carry the interview. A whole lot of interviewers would have interjected themselves unnecessarily and interrupted the flow. Hats off to you both. Terrific podcast.

If it is true that Jed would have to give up the 2nd and 5th round draft picks next July in order to sign Bregman.... don't think Jed would do that... there may have been some hype about Cubs possible interest released to help pressure the Astro to sweeten the Pressly trade money and help finish that deal... now the hype may die down w Pressly deal completed...

Enough with the complaining about the payroll…
Alex Bregman’s leadership? Yeah he was the leading trash can banger.

Yeah I don't know if I can stomach Bregman

@@csciacchitano White Sox fans said the same thing about AJ. Then he was traded to the South Side. Fans loved him and still do. It's about team, not your feelings, sir.

@@c.r.samuelson5398 Your's is a fair perspective. I had conflicted feelings about Aroldis Chapman too. One of the things about being a fan of a sport or some kind of entertainment is that everyone gets to approach that experience in their own way.

Yes, he has lots of experience because he's an over the hill, declining pitcher. Bad move.
