Great sharing! Now please do along the Northern routes from KL to Perlis via PLUS and also WCE if possible. One tip I can give you as a fellow Northener: there is DCFC at Starbucks Changlun Kedah (southbound from Bukit Kayu Hitam), ideal for travellers coming from Thailand and also DCFC at Starbucks Kangar Jaya Perlis. Hope to see more DCFC stations nationwide soon. #evistheFuture
But the only downside with the Kangar Jaya DCFC is that they closed the outlet way too early and only open after 10am the next day while it should be available 24/7. Right?
@@MrClonebaz didn’t realised there was operational hours for Starbucks Kangar Jaya DT charger since it’s outdoors. According to ChargEV app, it’s open from 9am to 11pm.
I am driving a Tesla almost a year. Before that was worried about availability of chargers. Now have no worries. In terms of Klang Valley no issues as there more than enough chargers not to mention FOC chargers. KLCC and all Tesla destination chargers (public). For outstation, just need to have prior planning to locate the public chargers along the routes. So far no major issues. The adoption of EVs would be accelerated once more people test drive and get used to it because it saves time (no need to drive to petrol stations since can charge at home) no need to drive to workshop for servicing and saves money due to no maintenance except for tires (home charging is much cheaper than petrol) at the same time, 😊breath cleaner air and contribute to greener environment 🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲
Good that the West Peninsula has more charging stations. But the most logical move would be to request all petrol stations to install at least 1 charging station, since they have the infrastructure, plus its the most logical choice when PHEV become mainstream
asalnya ev dibuat untuk penggunaan dalam bandar je. sebab apa? nak mengurangkan pencemaran udara. kurangkan asap ekzos. sebab tu ev sesuai untuk jarak dekat/ dalam town. kalau jalan jauh, lalu hiway, kereta ice pon sama jimat dia
@@cheahkaimun1 we have done KL to Perlis, Taiping to JB, KL to Kota Bharu and KL to Kuala Terengganu with an EV with no issues. The number of R&Rs with chargers have tripled in the last 2 years and many of the older sites with slow AC charging have been upgraded to DC charging.
great job! Also did you check if all the chargers are working? I could be wrong but maybe that's why there is no queue....very strange for public holidays. I had a queue at hotel destination in Melaka. There was a bus and hyunday Ioniq at a 2 clot charger. Had to wait for 45 minutes.

Stopped at Petronas Karak on the way back tp kl from raub last month. need to refill petrol. There is 1 charging spot there. A porsche is charging while a an x3/x5 is waiting with 4/5 people inside looking bored. They were looking at me while I am refilling. 1 minute after they still looking at me while I am driving away. And the porsche is still charging... I mean their face expression tell everything. No no ev for me. Maybe for city driving is ok but definitely not for outstation.
I don't mind EV as alternative vehicle but i still see it as moving gadget that you need to replace every 5 years and that's what the industry want. Unlike ICE car where you can use for 3 keturunan or more. But eh to each of his own i guess.
Not starting any war here, but just want to give some perspective,to recharge you petrol car is cheap and fast..to charge ev car,u will be penalized for faster charging..Rm1.5 for 1kwh is expensive..Of course there are always explanation/justification of why, does setting up ev charger is more expensive than opening petrol station?i do not know..By making charging price expensive, cpo are encouraging people to install charger at home,so if u are condo dwellers, please dont buy ev,so that their business of dc charging “fail’?that what i see..im not a business man,and most people also may be not too..this is what i see and my opinion..anybody please feel free to bash so can have discussion wether my point is valid or not..
90% of charging is done at home or while at the destination with AC charging. So overall is cheaper than petrol. There are subscription plans that offer 50% off charging. EV chargers can be deployed quickly as demand surge. Did you know that the new WCE highway doesn’t have a single petrol station yet along its tolled route but there are already 3 EV charging stations.
Before EV: lets plan our day by going here and here! Eat at this famous place and sightseeing there. After EV: okay honey, we can go there and eat at this place. But we have to include charging stop into our travel itinerary ya😊

Thanks for this, appreciate it
You're welcome! Hope it helps 😊
Saw you at the satay shop opposite EVPower! I charged at the DC charger there the night before too, the bay was completely empty
Thumbs up for the satay and cendol.
Most EV car user will try to travel long distance with ICE car. Range anxiety is clearly one of the consideration.

Try during Balik Kampung season, weekend before CNY and definitely not in KL.

The cost maintenance and breakdown repairs for an old three keturunan car dah boleh beli 3 kereta baru.
