a trend i find irritating is butchering iconic cars into vehicles that they aren't meant to be, such as ford putting the mustang name on mach e, dodge making the charger an ev car, and mercedes making the c63 amg into a 4 cylinder.
One trend I would like to add is people thinking that v8s are legit the fastest engine on earth over everything. Don't get me wrong I love v8s, but just because a car doesn't have 8 cylinders doesn't mean it's slow.
An Alfa Romeo Giulia (Their Sedan) comes in a 280Hp Petrol version and imo i agree that 280+ Hp is fast. The internet just ruins people's perceptions of "Speed" / What is fast. Also in Europe imo it's harder to get a "Fast car" since the car taxes are so high in most countries in west europe, like we can't get a charger for what 35 grand? Audi, Bmw & Mercedes all cost more...
I was boutta hate on the murdered out opinion until bro said unless it’s something that looks good while doing it while showing the same corvette as mine lol
Black cars are boring at night. They can look good in the right lighting but when I'm driving near a murdered out vehicle on the highway it just looks like a silhouette of a car, no detail or distinction
People don't really realize how fast 200 hp is my e46 330i is 230 hp stock (tuned to 303) and does 0-60 in 6 seconds stock, 5.4 tuned and feels scary fast i think the youtubers of 1000hp cars ruined our perception of speed ( I'm 16 rn)
Like he said 0-60 in 5 seconds is plenty speed, and anything under is just kids trying to think that they are capable of beating a professional drag racers.
I’m gonna agree with your statement on the “respect every build” because when you see a donked out Infiniti FX35, it makes me want to bleach my eyes, driving in my dads stock FX35 and seeing that abomination just makes me sad, and added to that is that they are rusted out, clapped out, and a waste of a great performance/luxury SUV
I agree with all of them except the moparts front splitter yellow thingy and the burble tunes, I like burbles, idk why, like even the sound of fireworks when they pop makes me relax idk why, but I know that's just me im kinda strange. Btw nice video as always
2:05 Sound of the car is the same as World Rally Championship cars. The cars have the same sound when you take your foot off the accelerator. The electronics continue to inject petrol to power the turbo.
Can confirm, going fast on an empty backroads highway is much more fun than weaving through a crowded highway. If you wanna go fast, find a windy back road and go fast on that, it'll be 2x-10x as much fun depending on the road.
Speaking on thr speed part. My dad owns a 2000 viper and a 2019 redeye. So I asked him, which one is faster and what would win a race? He simply said it all depends the viper has 500hp and the hellcat has 797 BUT what about the weight, prep surface. Horsepower dosent exactly make or break a car, their are lots of different factors more than how big you engine is or how much horsepower your car has.
I think a 0-60 of 4,5 seconds is really fast. Also I think that 300hp on a car is quick. You don’t need it breaking your neck rolling out the drive through
i feel like splitters would look nice on cars as a design if they weren't only in yellow, like some cars (specifically hellcats) look decent with them imo, but for most it's just that the yellow part of it doesn't really match, so if someone painted it to match the car's paint job instead of the normal color it might look nice.
so im 14 years old and i just saved up for my dream BMW e36 328i wich for now i will keep in my dads garage until i can drive it, but does it make me BMW kid?
I think the trend that needs to end is people having crazy high expectations for cars like they think a car looks bad unless it’s expensive or has modd
And I'm a GTI owner and I strongly agree with this I hate when I see gtis with burbleTunes I mean hell what's the point it sounds horrible and lowers your MPG a decent amount with no performance benefits I see it as completely useless
I love the concept of the takeover. Had a dude up the road trying to hit it in a Challenger, he hit 2 cars and a minivan n hospitalized one driver (there's a curve before the intersection and that whole side couldnt see him, hit the challenger at 44mph) Challenger got charged with reckless driving and assault with a deadly weapon
I would say somewhere in the 4 sec range is fast enough for daily driving. Only problem with speed and power is, you always want more. After a few months with a car you get used to it and then end up finding yourself up at 3am looking at Vipers and GTR's.
So I drive a BMW M4 Competition and the burble sounds are stock in the Sport and Sport + modes which I personally think sounds good. However, aggressive burbles tunes on VW and/or Subaru's I think sound awful.
in italy getting over 200hp is kinda rare cause you pay way more taxes, indeed i think 200hp is already pretty fast since a Fiesta St can do 0-60 in 6.5s, and if you do a stage 1 is 6 secs,so not bad for a car that costs 27k usd used 400eur of annual taxes. for comparing a used Challenger with 3.6 v6 with demon styling (300hp) is around 50k usd used with 1k annually of taxes. with a hellcat you'd pay 7k in taxes annually just to own it,
Is this a "Car Meet" or "Modified Car Meet" cos if it's the former then this just seems to be USA-specific gatekeeping of the hobby, in Europe nobody cares what you drive & it's state as long as you have an interest in cars &/or the driving experience.
3:15 My mom has it, honestly if you put Yellow Brembo Brake Calipers and put the yellow on the rear. You could make an accent color of the car. I dig it
here are reasons why some people enjoy them. Here’s how you can explain them: 1. Squatted Trucks (where the front is higher than the rear): Appeal: For some, squatted trucks offer a distinctive look that stands out. It's a visual statement that sets the truck apart from typical lifted or leveled builds. Reasoning: It originated from off-road racing, where trucks needed a tilted stance to handle jumps, though most fans today just appreciate the aesthetics. 2. Car Takeovers (when groups of drivers shut down intersections or roads to do stunts): Appeal: There's a certain thrill in the rebellion-drivers get a rush from showing off stunts and being part of an underground scene. Reasoning: It’s about adrenaline, attention, and pushing the limits of what can be done with their cars, though it's often seen as dangerous and disruptive. 3. Blacked-out Cars (all-black paint, wheels, and trim): Appeal: The "murdered-out" look is sleek, aggressive, and minimalist, giving the car a stealthy, powerful presence. Reasoning: It’s a style that communicates confidence and refinement. Black cars are often seen as luxurious or mean, adding to the cool factor. 4. Yellow Splitter Guard on Dodge Chargers: Appeal: Originally meant as a protective piece for shipping, people kept them on for the pop of color. It’s become a sort of badge for Charger owners, adding a sharp contrast to the car's look. Reasoning: It’s a way to make a stock car stand out, a small, bold touch that says, "I take pride in my car." These trends may seem odd to some, but they each have a fan base that appreciates the aesthetic, rebellion, or status they represent. It’s all about personal style and how people choose to express themselves through their vehicles.
I think a 0-60 of around 5 seconds is pretty quick for a sports car (Sports car as in something like a mx5 miata or subaru brz) The subaru wrx has a 0-60 of 5.5 seconds i can confirm that it feels quicker than 5.5 seconds.
My 2012 RAV 4 does 0-60 in about 6-7 seconds. I4 with I think around 180 hp, so for me it’s a 5 second or lower 0-60 or above 200 hp is pretty good for the average car.
I don’t really mind stock cars at meets as a lot of people enjoy cars but don’t want to break their warranty with engine mods or tank their resell value with cosmetic mods. The only time I clowned on someone for being stock was we had a guy at a small Brooklyn meet (my homie set it all up) in a stock 2017 (I think) Porsche 718 Boxster. He pulled up for 3 minutes then called everyone poor (crazy considering the M8 and AMG GT2 there were almost double the price of his car), so I yelled out to him “poverty is when you spend all your money at the dealer and then are forced to ride around on stock rims and OEM wheels”. He called me a “slow brokie” for driving an M240i, I didn’t even bother to tell him my 0-60 is about .5 seconds faster than 2024 718s😂 the Porsche also had a golf ball sized dent in the drivers door and cracked windshield
Finally someone said it 🗣️”burble tune is horrible ” imagine you have a 10 plus hour of traveling and every time the rpm went over 3k you hear gun shots 😂😂
When you visit Germany and lived there for 3 years all the BMW’s, Audis, Mercedes all to me are just fuel and grocery getters. I promised it won’t be special over there because it’s a norm over there and I looked at them the same way in the US like Civics and Corollas.
Personally, my dream car is a 2013 BMW M3 Comp 6-Speed. It is the car I plan on buying a few years after I learn how to drive, so in my early 20s or late teens. You could call me a BMW kid, because I’m a teen and the E92 is my favorite/dream car, but I don’t like the newer BMW’s as much.
I think 5-6 sec to 100km/h 0-60 mp/h is plenty fast for a daily commuter :) I had a Leon 1.6 16v and it had 9.7sec to 100 or 60mph and it was fun atleast for me :)
3:07 I absolutely agree with you! These splitter guards are annoying, and they definitely need to come off after purchasing a Challenger or Charger, even Dodge said to take them off.
I have a 90ish hp car, and I still think it's "fast". It still reaches 180km/h, around 112mph, and as I actually spent the money on improving the suspension and good tires, I can actually keep up with 130-150hp cars in corners and the like for a while, then they pull away. Still plenty fun for me. Now I bought a 65 V8 Mustang with 225hp, and I plan on building it to 350ish hp, so yeah, big improvement on speed I imagine 🤣
Anything doing less than 7 seconds is fast to me. 6-5 seconds is really quick, and anything below 4 seconds is crazy. People on the internet don't realize how much your neck suffers from anything below 5 seconds.
@@romie-777 yeah. BMWs are known for just being fun sporty cars while still being comfortable. Doesn't mean that it has 1000 hp stock and it is the fastest car in the world, unlike what these kids think

The horsepower rate its true. These social media mechanics/tuners/car enthusiasts don't understand power to weight ratios. To be perfectly honest though, I only see this trend among Americans. Have never met an American who didn't think "You need more displacement to be fast" stfu. Out here in 12L v12 pushing 550 at the wheels next to a honda fit doing the same and it's FWD. It's crazy.
0-62 in less 4.4-3.3 is fast with right weight and power, 280-300 horsepower is not enough to car, 550 horsepower is a perfect to car, 700-740 horsepower is impressive. About speed and weight: 3,847 lb and 205 miles per hour is a perfect to car, not heavy, not light, perfect to car performance.
70k to 150k msrp coupes are the perfect range for totally blacking out a car, anything under 70k is just regular cars and anything more than 150k deserves a vibrant color
I like the splitter guards, I think most people do it for aesthetic reasons, not because they think it actually helps protect the car after shipping. But yeah, street takeovers and cutting up are incredibly dangerous and I dont see how thats more fun than racing on empty streets
My parents own a 2012 dodge caravan with 296 hp, it’s not the fastest but still average and we rented a suv and the acceleration was faster by a little bit and I loved it, it makes a difference with a smaller car
Modded out and stock Japanese cars that aren’t lexus are not and will never be cool. Driving a Japanese car other than a Lexus is cringe and makes you look poor and modding one makes you look poor and financially irresponsible

I personally have not driven any sports car and only have driven family cars. To me, a honda Odyssey with v6 is fast and fun to drive
Haha! The regular car thing at a car meet hurt. I take my shiny red Soul all the time. Even worse i park it between my 2 buddies TRX and CTSV. Haha!
Worst car trend is when you see lower trucks especially who drive them acting like their trucks are fast
I like this guy's videos because he doesn't swear, he deserves subscribes.
Never mind he sweared..
Bro I’m so glad I found your channel
Me too
I like the splitter guards, I think most people do it for aesthetic reasons, not because they think it actually helps protect the car after shipping. But yeah, street takeovers and cutting up are incredibly dangerous and I dont see how thats more fun than racing on empty streets
I agree with the murdered out trend. Only certain cars should have them. Beginning with the one that started it: 82 Trans Am, aka KITT.
My parents own a 2012 dodge caravan with 296 hp, it’s not the fastest but still average and we rented a suv and the acceleration was faster by a little bit and I loved it, it makes a difference with a smaller car
Ur damn right There are so many BMW Kids on TikTok and "Oh HELLLLL NO"
congrats on 50k
Anything over 300hp is fast
Tell that to the new car kids
I have told them by smoking them in my 2008 Infiniti lol. Ive had mustangs and challengers try me at stoplights and they were humbled very quickly.
1:32 I'm with you on that 100%
Modded out and stock Japanese cars that aren’t lexus are not and will never be cool. Driving a Japanese car other than a Lexus is cringe and makes you look poor and modding one makes you look poor and financially irresponsible
