- In this video I will show you how to make a beautiful paper box with my own hands. In this diy I will craft and decorate with using paper, glue and paints.

To make a round shape, I used a balloon.
Tape it with paper and let it dry.
From paper napkins twisted flagella.
Glued around the whole form.
let it dry.
Cut into two parts.
I glued the legs and the handle, which I also made of napkins.
Decorated with imitation of leaves and berries.
For this, I used napkins in the form of flagella for branches.
And the leaves and berries are made of papier-mache masses.
Painted with acrylic paints.
The bottom layer is black.
Top with metal effect.

А вы знаете, некрашеная она была такая миленькая! Весенняя))) можно было просто выделить фактуру розовым или зеленым блеском - ну как вариант.
Вот именно, все испортила покраска...

@@skoraya-elena да. Салфетки красивые были и вазочка классная. Но покраска все испортила, просто жесть чёрная. Горшок вышел в итоге.
Уж тогда нефиг было такие кра ивые салфетки использовать. А то вкдь ничто не предвещало такого коварства...
Или уж лаком покрыть обязстельно

I saw at least 6 different versions of the same project demonstrated, created simply from items that most (or all!) households have, which I believe was the point! There may have been even more than the 6 versions that I counted. :) I found it super creative and beautiful!

It was cute and sweet in pink and white. And it was dark and mysterious in black and glitter. It's good that the tastes are different. ;)
As others I love the unpainted look and it would cut done on production time. A note, were someone giving a party they could use the same napkins as regular napkins. Could go so far as to making napkin rings , coaster, trivites etc. However, don't stop sharing I get inspired. Thanks for your time and effort.

We used to do this at school in the mid -late ‘50s. Of corse, we were easily pleased then, and teachers were allowed to get away with murder!!. They were also allowed to cane us, so not always things in our best interests😬😬. I had forgotten about this until I saw this video. Very nice, think I might renew a few memories doing this again. Thank you

This is a very old craft, from the 18th and 19th century. When my children were little - 50 years ago - I made them an elephant over a balloon, with toilet roll legs and carboard ears attached, covered with mashed paper (papermaché) coating, sanded, painted white and a colorful saddle with bits of mirror and beads, similar to an indian elephant. The elephant is still in one piece (only the tail boke off).

Yes, a cozt or two of matt gesso would make it very sturdy and not change the color too much. However, it was good to see it painted also as many napkins can be used that might not produce such a lovely effect. Actually, it could be painted any color at all. Creativity is individual and open to all who wish to create their own version of things. Create on, folks. Make it your way.

u can use newspapers instead, and works without putting on water
The napkins and balloon could have been left over from an event. Recycling refers to converting into reusable material, returning to a previous stage in a cyclic process, or use again. Beats throwing the stuff out yes?
What everyone said and also napkins are a one time use, these did not just go into the trash. Very cool!
