I met Larry at our grocery store in Redding, he was wearing a SOG hat and I talked to him. Told him I had some SOG unit patches that he ended up sending to the Special Forces Museum. I arranged to go over to his house and he gave me a signed copy of "Across the Fence". John Stryker Meyer had just been in town. Great guy!
He was on Team Asp.
You really should research the Auxiliary( secret home guard 1940) force that operated the first Special Forces !! They were a secret force at the start of WW2 sworn to secrecy for 40 years !! However they continued on in some fashion till this day !!!
