Can someone explain why Kpop groups have albums and more mini albums? They also have so many versions of the same album. It's really confusing and I want to buy my friend a Kpop album but I get so confused because I'm not actually a fan. How do you know which songs are on which albums when there are so many mini albums too.
misszully03 The main difference between mini and full albums is the amount of songs. You can have repackage albums too, which consist of maybe 1 or 2 previous mini's, with additional songs. The versions are usually different, for example, EXO-CBX albums (EXO sub unit with Baekhyun, Chen, and Xiumin) have 3 versions, mainly based around the member you receive, either C, B, or X, also with group photos too. ^ Wings (by BTS) have 4 versions, W, I, N, and G. Each is different, with different members. The only thing you should be aware of is the repackage albums, because, as I've said before, they will consist of songs you receive in others. Regardless of what you buy for your friend, don't worry about whether it's a mini or not, I'm sure they'll be thankful :)
