Acoustic panels is where I am lacking at the moment, but plenty of people say it makes a difference so I will need to get it down sooner rather than later.
Yep u always have good videos. Im going to try the blackout panels like you mentioned. But i plan to do spandex, which i hear is not as good as velvet, but a cheaper alternative. Less dog hair will stick to spandex than velvet (i hope). But the panels are a great idea if you want to hang them instead of painting walls.
They are a DIY job. Take a look at my acoustic panel build. Its not a bass trap build but the process is very similar. Part 1: ruclips.net/video/YPSfEnnRPKA/видео.html Part 2: ruclips.net/video/WqDWWXzTB4c/видео.html
Well done as always. Just curious: has your projector fan noise(pick one) stayed the same since you installed it; increased over time; or decreased over time.
@@stillbluehometheater1056 Excellent - although I am reading about fan noise variability. I think Sony is having some production quality control issues with its fans in some of its projectors.
Two questions if I may... 1. Listening habits % between movies and 2 channel music. 2. On average how many hours a week do you spend in this wonderful looking room.
I do not play much two channel music in my theater. Its pretty rare. On average, I am in my home theater around 10-ish hours per week. Some weeks much more. Some weeks less. But, 10hrs on average seems about right.

Definitely. It doesn't seem like something so simple would make much of a difference. But, acoustic treatments make a huge difference.
Hit a lot of key points that many folks don't think about (especially acoustic panels!). Well played.
Thank you.
You have little starship replicas sitting on your speakers. Love it and just subscribed.🙂
Much appreciated. Thank you.
great video. Working on acoustic panels right now, just need to understand what I need in my room a bit better.
Thank you! The panels will make a huge difference.

Thank you. Much appreciated. And, good plan for your room.
Where did you purchase the bass traps?

Thank you very much. The Sony XW5000es is still the same. It is very quiet. As quiet now as it was the first day I got it. I am very happy with it.

Great looking setup
Thank you very much.
For my one window. I used blackout curtains. And plastic dip the glass black. If I ever need the window. I can always pull off the plastic dip.
Would you go with that SVS sub you have or a speedwoofer 12s
I have not heard the Speedwoofer in person. But, the PB4000 is an absolute beast. SVS makes great products.
@@stillbluehometheater1056you should look into the speedwoofer 12s it seems like a steal for 800 bucks but I do think SVS subs look nicer
Hey buddy, great video. What's the name of the paint color ?
Thank you. The paint is a flat Sherwin-Williams Tricorn Black. Their Emerald line of paint.
