@@arramdanimohamad416 Bruv, he literally said in the video that it is ok to give praise to the Prophet but not to combine them in a singular day and make it a day of festival. Logically speaking, that becomes a new celebration and ultimately leads to Bid'ah!
His unfortunate mistake is a genuine misunderstanding that the companions didn't celebrate his birth, when in fact, they did celebrate it, and him, and his love every day of their lives. Just not in a form of a western 'birthday '. They expressed it by singing talal badru alaina, by receiting poetry about him, by freeing a slave, by competing to get his leftover wudu water and his shaved hair after umrah, and even once by his uncle Jafar, radiyallahu anhu, doing an African dance in front of him after returning from Abysinia. The more genuine love you have, the more you will find creative ways to express it, in the ways Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wa salam approved of, when done in front of him. His approvals are also part of the Sunnah, it's just that we may genuinely not have been aware of them. It would have simply been safer on the Day of Judgement to simply have said, 'I don't know', rather than to cut off for the Ummah halal expressions of love for the best of creation, sallallahu alaihi wa salam. Humbleness and gaining more knowledge in private before speaking and posting in public will help us to see other Muslims points of view, and thus avoid the harsh (ill founded) judgments that can create an high level of division in the community at a time when it is not necessary or appropriate.
The thing is, no man can get inundated closeness of Allah (swt) unless he has unconditional love for Nabi Muhammad Khatim un Nabiyeen (saw). There is no great event on this earth other then descendence of Nabi Muhammad (saw) for mankind. And why would Sahaba Rizwan Ullah Ajmaeen comemorate Prophet's (saw) day of birth when the were blessed by His (saw) devine presence but Sahaba(r.a) who lived after departure of Nabi Muhammad (saw) had grief of Nabi Muhammad's demise in their(r.a) pure hearts untill they died. Allah(sw) will accept nothing from none other than deeds with pure infinite love for His(swt) beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw). Ummat is surrounded by fitnas of Akhir uz zama and we need to propagate the every single thing that belongs to Prophet Muhammad (saw) to get the souls connected with Rahma and noor. Its a matter of love.
To this day I never understood why people say Mawlid is a bidah or innovation. My local masjid said they will be hosting a mawlid event so I went and they recited some Qur'an, they spoke about the life of the Messenger (PBUH) and then gave everyone some fruits and stuff I don't see how that's bad or misguidance
There’s something all Muslims follow we all follow the teachings of the prophet Muhammad (swt) so did the prophet Muhammad say don’t forget to celebrate my birthday did he forget to teach us anything as Muslims we follow the Quran and the sunnah and by celebrating mawlid it’s bidaa because it’s something new introduced into the religion of your still confuse watch mufti menk video regarding this or dr zaik naik or if you want to know the full history of it watch murtaza Khan
Darius Konka I’m unsure what your trying to say because I was just explaining why milad is a bidaa so instead of telling me to learn more please educate yourself in Islam more
The people that claim mawlid to be haram or misguidance are the ones who are truly misguided and they do nothing more than just cause trouble amongst the muslim ummah
@@Islamiconlineuniversity-iou First of all dr.phillip still needs to get the deep knowledge of Islam.. Could he able to produce one single proof that celebrating birthday is said to b haram or najayez from any of the hadith or Verses of Quran? Answer is no no n no.. Secondly do the birth of the prophet been observed by sahab ? Answer is the birthday of the prophet been of served n celebrated by the one who is extremely superior than all the sahaba n he is our belived Prophet alaihis salaam itself.. By fasting on his birthday every monday ... Just imagine the point is oberving n celebrating by keeping fast is proved right... How to celebrate is the second issue ... One can celebrate i proved it.. Remember one thing to show your love for the prophet in your own fair way or in your own way of act whether it looks new but not against any law (shariah) of islam is permissible... For example : When Prophet alaihissalam did abulution at that moment sahaba took those used water of the wudu from the prophet in their hand n used to rub i their face for the barakaah ... So my question is this ..who commanded the sahaba to act like this to show their love for prophet? Did prophet commanded them or Allah send the order in the verses of Quran? Answer: From nowhere they received the comandment to act like this to show love for the prophet but it has been done by their own from the sahaba .. N neither Prophet rejected their act by saying this is biddah nor Allah send any verses against them but though it was the new act ... But rather the act was accepted ... So this proved that u could show love in a new way as you wish for the love of your beloved prophet anything thing which is not contradict to shariyah is permissible n proven from the sahaba
Abu Qatada Ansari (Allah be pleased with him) reported that Allah's Massenger (Peace be upon him) was asked about fasting on Monday, whereupon he said: It is (the day) when I was born and revelation was sent down to me. Sahih Muslim Book number 6 Hadith number 2606

Was that music concert allowed by islam or sheik bilal Philips? I wonder, how can you judge Islam by looking at the practices of Muslims. Muslims don't represent Islam, it is prophetic tradition & Quran alone, if that allows something then accept it & if it prohibits something then don't accept it. It isn't Saudi Arabian people or Pakistani people or Muslims in turkey who represent Islam, it is Quran & sunnah alone. You have got questions, you don't ask king salman, you go back to Quran & sunnah.
Lots of hypocrits... Everything new is bidaah yet they live a life of luxury, full of electronic gadgets, flying around the world on private planes, eating at the best gourmets while we are being associated with shirk for the simple fact of loving our prophet (saw) and celebrating his beloved family and blessed birthday. Go figure!!!!!
You can do good when matter isn't related to ibadah & when it is related to ibadah & islam, there is neither consent for addition nor for deletion because Islam has been perfected, trying to implement something new in islam is to show that this deen needs perfection. If you are using a computer, you can study hard & become good at using computer but it has nothing do with your religion & deen but when it comes to the practices related specifically to deen you have to consult the prophet & Quran, there is no place for doing your own.
@@The-Monotheist The Mawlid is celebrated by those who loves our beloved prophet not celebrated as part of religion of Islam. Not everything the sahabas did not do that maybe we are doing today is forbidden in Islam.

So you deny the completeness and perfection of Deen as stated by Allah SWT in the Noble Quran and by the Master Peace be Upon Him in his Final Sermon on the occasion of Hajj?
Can I just make things clear for all the ignorant people out there. There is nothing wrong with being happy with the birth of the prophet. We are happy for all the prophets, not just Muhammad (sws). However, that doesn't mean we celebrate his birthday! Why do you guys need to idolise him just like the Christians did with Isa? The prophets birthday was never celebrated by the companions or the best 3 centuries after them. So what makes US think we're smarter and better than them??? We may think that there's nothing wrong, but look at the different parts of the world and how they celebrate the Mawlid. Some people intermingle and freemix during this time as a "celebration", others do fireworks and cut a cake (all Christian practices), and some sing including freemix singing. Not only that but there are occasions where people in the mosque have said "everyone stand up because the prophet has entered the mosque". GUYS THIS IS REAL. but is it correct???!! The prophet has passed away, how can he ever enter the mosque. This is the effect of the Mawlid. If we keep thinking the Mawlid is good, well think again because there's already so much fitna with the Mawlid. Hence why the prophet warned us against idolising him. And just for those reading, or who disagree with the Sunnah of the prophet, what are the rewards for the Mawlid? Send me proof of the rewards that It gives. If you can't, then I can assure you that what your doing is incorrect and has nothing to do with Islam.
MJA I read your comment carefully about the mawlid and you think that all those who celebrate this event are ignorant. You claim that those who celebrate the Mawlid are idolising the Holy Prophet Muhammad p.b.u.h.just like the Christians do to Hazrat Isa (AS).This comment is far and away the most offensive ignorant ,misinformed and idiotic. Your argument is the companions never celebrated this event so we should not celebrate it either. This is a weak and feeble argument and you will have to do a lot better than that, not everything the Sahabas did not do that we are doing are bid'ah,we need to look at the world around us and see how many good inno this excellent opportunity of the Mawlid and show our love for the Holy Prophet p.b.u.h.You need to look around us and see how many many innovations we are surrounded with, innovations that are good and innovations that benefit the Islam and the Muslims. You cannot freeze Islamic Nation with your stupid ignorant and illogical Bida'ah argument, good innovations introduced in the time of the Holy Prophet p.b.u.h.were allowed by him and it is allowed today as long as it does not contradict the Quran and the sunnah. You also wrote "...what are the rewards for the Mawlid"? For your information we who celebrate the Mawlid we do it out of love for the Holy Prophet Muhammad p.b.u.h.and to please Allah Almighty we don't do it to obtain any rewards.
@@farookdinaully8029 Brother, please show me where in Quran or Sunnah it says to celebrate the prophets birthday? Not just that, I've seen people dancing to the mawlid and claiming that the prophet has entered the room. Can u tell me how that is true and how it isnt causing fitnah? As u stated in your last line, what are you celebrating for if you are not getting rewards? Who are you doing it for then, if u said its not for Allah? (How do you know its pleasing to Allah?? wheres your evidence?) In Islam we do everything according to the Ahlus Sunnah, the prophets time and the first 3 generation, anything new created after that, is bidah As i said, there is nothing wrong with acknowledging the Prophets birthday as we should be happy of his birth. However, why not fast on his birthday as he did? Why sing and dance?
@@moonera6130 I read your comment carefully, first to celebrate the Mawlid is not idolising the prophet of Islam as you put it. You asked the question "Please show me where on the Quran or sunnah it says to celebrate the prophets birthday"? If you are looking for the word Mawlid itself or for the permissibility to celebrate it you will not find it in the Quran but that doesn't mean its not there in the Quran , in chapter 10 verse 58 we read in the Quran"............LET THEM REJOICE.THAT IS BETTER THAN ALL THEIR WEALTH." In this verse Allah Almighty is ordering us to enjoy on His grace and mercy, if we look around us we find we are surrounded by the favours of Allah Almighty but His greatest favour is the Holy prophet Muhammad p.b.u.h.. Allah Almighty says in surah Ambiyaa Verse 107 "AND WE SENT NOT YOU BUT AS A MERCY FOR THE WORLD." I agree with you dancing in the street waving flags etc. is not part of the Mawlid but these are done by the ignorant few. You asked me "What are you celebrating for if you are not getting rewards?" Those who celebrate the Mawlid including myself we do it for the love of the holy Prophet p.b.u.h. and to please Allah Almighty not with the aim to gain anything out of it. It is the same with keeping fast, performing Salaah etc. we do it to please Allah Almighty. You asked me " How do you know its pleasing to Allah?" It is obvious for those celebrating the Mawlid to celebrate the mercy of Allah Almighty that is the beloved prophet of Allah Almighty therefore the Quran itself confirms the Milad of our beloved prophet p.b.u.h. Yes fasting is one way also to celebrate his birth and many who celebrate the Mawlid they also fast. I need to ask you these questions which part of the Mawlid are you not happy with? Is it the part where Muslims get together and listen to the recitation of Quran? Is it the part where Muslims invoke Allah Almighty to send peace and blessings upon the Holy Prophet p.b.u.h.? Is it the part where Muslims sit whole heartedly and listen to the stories of the prophet's glorious life? So which part are you claiming is wrong? You need to do a bit of research of your own and ask those who participate in the Mawlid why they do it. To be in the gathering of Muslims to celebrate to show and increase their love for the Holy Prophet p.b.u.h. Please question the intent and motives for the celebration of the Mawlid before claiming any wrong doing, there is no obligation on anyone to celebrate the Mawlid it is an act of pure love not part of the religion it is not compulsory.
@@farookdinaully8029 I do not know any modern day scholar that actually says celebrating the mawlid is permissible. And i mean, knowledgable scholars who follow the prophet and ahlus sunnah. Even you could name me even one, then yes maybe i'd agree, but every single scholar i follow says its impermissible. The only people i know in my community who celebrate are those who follow corrupt 'leaders' and and are super extreme. Ive been to mawlid lectures by accident in my community and i was shocked at what these so called 'scholars' say about it. You can learn about the prophet everyday, you can recite the quran everyday, but the problem is singling it out on specific day (on his "birthday"). These things should be done everyday, not just once. We cant expect to remember the prophet once a year and then forget, if you want to praise the prophet, do it everyday. Thats all If it was permissible, again, the prophet and those closest to him wouldve done it. (Reported by al-Bukhaari, Muslim and al-Tirmidhi). The celebration of the Prophet’s birthday appeared many centuries later, when many of the features of true religion had vanished and bid’ah had become widespread. (Reported by Muslim and al-Nisaa’i).

The purpose of celebrating Milad Un Nabi is to introduce the beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) to the society, to awaken their minds, to introduce their children to the beloved Prophet, etc. Especially in areas like the Indian subcontinent where there are thirteen festivals in twelve months, Muslims need to have some festivals for cultural reasons.
You can point your finger and say "Wahabi!" But he is right. Look at the logic .. in the first 300 years of Islam. No scholar.. no sahabi. NO ONE celebrated the birthday of the Prophet .. because the concept of celebrating a birthday was simply unknown to them. Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus .. so some muslims thought they could do better and celebrate the birthday of the Prophet. And by the way .. the common date for Mawlid is the 12th of Rabi' ul Awwal. And this is not even certain that the prophet wad born on this day.

Hassan Iqbal Did you watch the video? This was on the topic of not celebrating Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) birthday. It never mentioned not to send darood, where did you get that from?
@@TheDisconnector Because abundant durood is what I do on that day. Along with other sunnah worships e.g. tahajjud ishraq duha dua Quran sadaqah etc. The prophet fasted Monday to honour the day he was born. So what am I doing wrong?
Hassan Iqbal There is nothing wrong with what you did. Sending darood is fine, fasting is fine too. Just remember when we fast we don’t celebrate eid. That’s another proof not to celebrate eid milad annabi. You can fast on Monday and Thursday because that’s the sunnah but there is no authentic narration which shows 12 Rabi al alawal is prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) birthday. This was first celebrated in Fatimid dynasty by Shias and now it has made its way into sunnies as well. Best way to show the love to prophet Muhammad peace be upon is to follow his sunnah every second of the day, not just on one specific day which is not even proven. And Allah knows the best! Love you brother for the sake of Allah Subahanahu wa Taala.
@@TheDisconnector It is true that to single out the 12th came later But as far as I know for centuries until very recently no scholar was ever against it. Even ibn taymiyyah said "So one MAY magnify the birthdate of the Prophet upon him blessings and peace, AND treat it as a festival, perhaps obtaining IMMENSE REWARD for it because of his good intentions in honoring the Messenger of Allah" The prophet said actions are according to intentions, so my intention is to honour his birthday with worship out of shukr and love for everything he did and being in his ummah. This is for akhira not dunya. Of course the sunnah more important. But this is nafl to gain more reward.

First of all dr.phillip still needs to get the deep knowledge of Islam..
I will celebrate prophet's birthday....those who have problem then get lost from here..I'm not here to fight...wahhabism is an innovation..sunni and shias are old ....we love prophet Muhammad and we will celebrate those who don't want to celebrate then don't celebrate but don't eat my head..its my life my rules get over it..

What’s the difference? Read some authentic books NOT of Ibn Abdul Wahhab Najdi and get your facts straight.
@@MShah-wg8iq The taraweeh prayer it's not NO as you claimed, it's yes, because when He prayed the 1st and 2nd days He refused to come out for the 3rd day when many people heard about the 1st and 2nd days night prayers offered. And He said the reason I refused to come out for 3rd day is because I am afraid let it not be decreed for you people. for the maulid, I don't celebrate it because it's not been prescribed for me in the Quran and the hadith and the Sahabas didn't do it. But do fast on Mondays and Thursdays because the Prophet did that. and if you want to copy the Prophet, you are expected to fast on Mondays not to make the day a day of eating chickens and beef. You mentioned satan was cursed because He refused to prostrate to Adam aley He salam, this are two wide different cases. satan was instructed by Allah, and you who instructed you? You keep on insisting on Abdul Wahab Nagdi, I don't know Him, I only know Quran and Hadiths period, or are saying He is the one brought the Quran and the Hadiths? For comparing those who follow the sunnah as family of satan, it's ok from you won point of view, but that doesn't change Allah judgement.
Good explanation and a very convincing evidence . We don't have to open a door for our enemy the shaytan. But giving special respect for the day remembering the life of our beloved prophet is so important but shouldn't be made part of ibada.
Muhammad uncle will be allow to enter heaven whenever the day the prophet was born arrives because he was very happy and rejoicing that day so why not we celebrate it as well
There is no Sahih narration for the date of birth for the Prophet (Peace be upon him). But it is known, beyond doubt, that he passed away on 12th of RABO-UL-AWAL.
Let Allah judge if Celebrating birth of our beloved prophet is right or wrong. I hope those against it have no hidden hate for the prophet deep in their hearts.
Abdul, Allah Has already judged everything need to be performed here in duniya, all we need is to seek for knowledge period, if we died the judgement is for what we did here only and on the strictness of how best we follow His commandments through His Messengers from Noah to Muhammad. That's the meaning of Al yauma aklamtu lakum deeni kum. You and me clearly knew that Abubakar Umar Usman and Ali did not celebrate the Prophet birthday, does it means you have better knowledge than them? while the Prophet was clear that we take our example with Him and the Qulafaul Rashidun. Abdul my hope is all of us to go to Jannah, but lets look at our act of Ibadah very well and see if it's order with the teachings of the Prophet
@@usmanibrahim5824 And Allah knows our intentions and all our actions and will judge accordingly, Almighty knows all and will let in paradise the ones he chooses for that we should seek Allah's grace no matter how much piety one claims arrogantly and looking down on others.
@@AbdulAli-ku9he you see this is the problem. Yesterday had a lengthy discussion with a Christian brother here in my office the same claim he brought only grace of God can save us. @@AbdulAli-ku9he We are talking about celebrating a particular event which is fully not celebrated by the best ummah lived ever as Allah said in the Quran, kuntum kaira ummati ukrijat linnasi, first, He is giving the Sahaba crdit then those how follow they part as the Prophet said follow my teachings and the understanding of my companions period. why are we stretching hard to defend what is not prescribed in the Quran or the said hadith? when it comes to general mercy Allah can have His mercy to those He wishes, but to be honest He said in the Quran, that we human beings think He is going to abandon those who try hard to follow His laws? Any way all the best, pa man yaamal miskhala zarritin kairan yara wa man yamal miskhala zarritin sharran yara. May Allah save us from the hell
Salam wa 'alaykom Go study And shut your mouth full of hate You don't know anything and talk If you studied a few, you will know that not all bid'a are bad, and that if you follow a mujtahid (man who have doing ijtihad), even if he is worse, you are not sinner. So study or shut up, w'Allahu A3lam.
I live in India and people here blast music with speakers and there are elephants . People wear colour codes ,they celebrate it more than Eid . And same goes for the birthday or death anniversary of the awliyahs of the specific place. And they say these owliyahas are the family of the prophet.
Imam Bukhari writes that: when Abu Lahab died, someone from his household saw him in a dream, they asked him what happened in the grave he said “I am being punished severely, but on Mondays, I get water from my finger with which I am freed Thuwayba, (Bukhari, “Kitaab-un-Nikaah”) This Proves that a Kaafir, Abu Lahab, was happy on the day of the birth of the Prophet (pbuh) and was rewarded by having his punishment reduced. If this is true, then indeed Allah will bless a Muslim who rejoices the birth of the Prophet (pbuh). when someone show's you proof then you should respect it. like you respect the Holy Quran by putting it in a High place. so proof from Hadith should be respected aswell. So Peace on him (Yahya) (a.s) the day he was born, the day that he dies, and the day that he will be raised up to life (again)! So Peace is on me (Jesus) the day I was born, the day that I die and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again). Iblis cried loudly four times, Third time devil cried When Prophet (salallaho alaihi wasalam) was born. what does Mawlid-celebration mean? it means being happy, rejoice on Prophet (sallam) birth. what do we do on Mawlid celebration? we do Seerah of Prophet (sallam), read naat, read Holy Quran. are you happy or sad on Prophet (sallam) birth? yes or no? is it Harram, sin or biddah to do Seerah of Prophet Muhammed (salla Allahu alayhi wasallam) ?? is it sin or Biddah to do Nasheed? is it sin or Biddah to read Quran? plus we don't do it one day, we do did every other month aswell. you bring me proof where is Harram or Biddah to do Seerah of Prophet (sallam), reading Naat, reading Holy Quran? what do you say about your own scholars who Salafi follow for example Ibn Taymiyya, Ibn Kathir and Ibn Qayyim, Imam al- Suyuti said about Prophet (sallam) birth. ?? why did your own scholars allow it? from "the Collected Fatwas," ("Majma' Fatawi Ibn Taymiyya,") Vol. 23, p. 163 and also in Vol. 22, page 253 of the Collected Fatwas, King Khalid ibn `Abdul `Aziz edition ("Majma'a Fatawa Ibn Taymiyya") and page 498 of "Madarij as-Salikin," also check "Madarij as- Salikin," Vol. 1 zer zabar pesh etc in Holy Quran came after so many years after prophet (sallam) so is it got to do with wordly or islam and is it Bidah or not? in Prophet (sallam) time they were no two adhaans for Jumu'ah, this came after so many years after so is two Azan for Jumuah.. is it worldly or is it to do with Islam? and is it bidah? because according salafi if Prophet (sallam) never did it or never told anyone to do it. then its bidah thats what salafi believe. But they accept the two azans on Friday in masjid and zer zabar pesh in the Holy Quran. why do salafi pick and choose sahih hadith that suits them? why do salafi say to they own scholars they made a mistake, but say shirk, harram and biddah to other deobandi and barelvi scholars? why salafi are double standards? why salafi are biased? why salafi don't accept the proof and evidence. why only look one side of the talk and not look on the other side what they got to say?
In 2022 I am celebrating the mawlid. Every year I do, my love for prophet Muhammad increases tenfold. I will celebrate it every year for as long as I live inshallah
Is it bidah to read mushaf, Nabi (saw) never had a mushaf, Sayyidina Abu Bakr did not want to gather a mushaf but eventually did gather it because if Sayyidina Umar insistence. Sayyidina Abdullah bin Umar had his own talbiyah for umrah and haj, is that bidah too, there are so many instances where sahaba did actions not done by Nabi (saw) but its not considered bidah sayyi'ah, rather hasanah, its reported Imam Ahmad(ra) made 3/400 nafal rakaats a day, is that Sunnah or bidah, Imam Tirmidhee reports in his jaami a person reading 1000 rakaats a day and 100000 tasbeehaat, bidah or Sunnah because we can't find Nabi(saw) doing it, why did these great A-imah not outlaw this??? Maybe because they understood what we don't! Let's be fair, I really don't celebrate Mowlid but let's be fair, it just a gathering of Thikr and ilm which is meritorious, I know some places do some hectic things, but Thikr(salawaat) and ilm(seerah) can't be bidah.
When sahaba's asked to Prophet (PBUH) why he is fasting on that day. He replied because it is his birthday. So, there is no other reference or evidence that during his lifetime or after his death publicly the day was observed. Perhaps sahabas (who opted) did observe his birthday individually by fasting at that day. But prophet (PBUH) did't ask sahahas to follow him to fast on his birthday. Neither 4 khalifa even observed his birthday publicly (it could be they may have fasted at that day or may be not. We don't know). After 400 years of his death when Egypt king saw Christians are celebrating Prophet Jesus (PBUH), he came up with that idea of celebrating our Prophet (PBUH) birthday and thereafter many muslim various parts of the world started to celebrate. So, one group of scholar given ruling that celebrating prophet's birthday is a good thing in islam. While other group of scholar ruled out celebrating prophet (PBUH) birthday as it contradicts with principle of islam. Their view is islam is a complete religion and all the method /way of worships has already been revealed during prophet's (PBUH) lifetime. Up to 400 years since his death there was nothing like today's Mawlid elebration. So these scholars opinion is why to do somethingn when there is no evidences and it may be treated as an addition (or innovation) to the originality of religion. So, their rulling is: muslims should be refrained of doing such things which is not in original islam. Only Allah (SWT) knows what is good and what is bad for us. And Prophet (PBUH) has taught us how to worship to Allah and in Islam's early days after his death sahabas, tabein and tabe tabein has followed exactly and perform worships to Allah what prophet (PBUH) has taught. These tabein and tabe tabein has traveled and scattered all over the world preaching islam the way their predecessors has thought them follow. Conclusion: Only Allah (Swt) will judge and accept those worships which Allah (Swt) want to. If many muslims thinks that celebrating Prophet (PBUH) birthday will bring additional good deeds to them at the day of judgement then Allah (Swt) will decide that (acceptable or not or either it is treated as addition to the religion--we don't know ). In the other hand muslims who does not celebrate this day publicly (but fast and keep on performing their normal daily prayer) they are in opinion of that, they are following fundamental worship of islam which sahabas did.
Brother Bilal . it's not as simple as you put. This is why you are wrong. 👇 The Celebration of Mawlid in Light of the Shafi’i School The present era has seen several works authored for and against the celebration of the birth of the Prophet (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam). In short, those opposed to this celebration are either adherents of one of the four major schools [mutamadhhibin] or non-adherents [present day salafiyyah]. The primary contention of both parties is that the celebration is an action that both the Prophet (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam) and his companions did not practice. In response to this contention, several scholars authored rejoinders. Some dedicated independent writings to the subject, while others addressed it in larger works. A different approach is required to respond to each of these parties. The works of the scholars from the past suffice as a response to the non-adherents of the madhahib. In brief, their arguments may be condensed as follows: 1. The Prophet’s (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam) non-performance does not indicate impermissibility [at-tark la yaqtadi at-tahrim]. The agreed-upon hadith of Khalid ibn Walid eating a lizard after the Prophet (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam) abstained serves as ample proof to establish this point. 2. Not all innovation is necessarily misguidance. Consequently, scholars divided innovation into two: good and bad. Past luminaries who explicitly held to the bifurcation of innovation include amongst many: al-Imam Muhammad ibn Idris ash-Shafi’i, al-Imam al-Bayhaqi, al-Imam an-Nawawi, Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani, Ibn Hajar al-Haytami, and Imam al-Suyuti. 3. Within the sunnah, there exists certain narrations that create the impression that the Prophet (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam) actually celebrated his own birthday. Imam Muslim narrates that the Prophet (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam) was asked regarding the fasting of Monday, to which he replied, “That is the day on which I was born.” 4. Other reports suggest that the companions rejoiced and sang poetry regarding the birth of the Prophet (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam). The Prophet’s uncle, Abbas ibn AbdilMuttalib, composed poetry commemorating the birth of the Prophet (sallaAllahu alayhi wasallam) and then sought permission to recite. The Prophet not only permitted it, but prayed for his uncle asking Allah to protect his mouth. Then, Abbas (radiyaAllahu anhu) recited what was possibly the first mawlid ever, “And when you were born (O Prophet) the earth shone bright and the horizon was radiant.” 5. Legal analogy. This point’s chief proponent is the great scholar and hafidh, Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani. He noted that when the Messenger (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam) arrived in Madinah, he found the Jews fasting on the 10th of Muharram and enquired as to why they were fasting. They replied that it was the day on which Allah saved Musa and drowned the Pharaoh; and therefore, they fasted in thanks and gratitude to Allah. The Prophet (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam) then stated, “I am more entitled to Musa than you,” and accordingly fasted while instructing the companions to also fast. Ibn Hajar argues that in this report, lies sound evidence to celebrate and show gratitude for a favour that Allah has bestowed on any particular day. Now, in response to the adherents of the madhahib, the central consideration is what a particular madhab has to say regarding the issue (i.e. the permissibility of mawlid). This is established in Shaf’i fiqh, and therefore, should be dealt with accordingly. The jurists’ first approach to any fiqh issue is one of naql. Only in the absence of naql does one move to the investigation of nusus (the texts of Quran and Sunnah) or reason. An opinion within our School does exist, and therefore obviates the need for an investigation of nusus. Opening the door to change the position of the madhhab on this mas’alah would allow others to do the same for other masa’il. A perfunctory survey is given below of scholars in the Shafi’i School who held that the mawlid is recommended: 1. al-Imam an-Nawawi’s shaykh, head of the famous Syrian school, Dar al-Hadith al-Ashrafiyyah, the great Shafi`i jurist and traditionist, Abdur Rahman ibn Ismail, well-known as Abu Shamah. He states in his Risalah, “And among the best innovated actions in these times are those actions that take place every year coinciding with the birth of the Prophet (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam) such as charity, good deeds, personal beautification, joy, and so forth, as they speak of love and reverence for the beloved Prophet (sallAllahu alayhi wasallm)…” 2. Hafiz ibn Hajar al-Asqalani’s shaykh, Sirajud Din Umar ibn Raslan ash-Shafi`i. In al-Mawaz wal Iitibar, Al-Miqrizi mentioned that Shaykh al-Bulqini, his sons, and the judges of the four madhahib of his time, would all attend the mawlid of the Prophet (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam). 3. The renowned commentator of al-Imam al-Bukhari’s Sahih, Hafidh al-Dunya, Allamah Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani. In addition to the above, his student al-Imam as-Suyuti related that he opined that if the mawlid only consists of good actions, then it will be considered a good innovation. 4. Al-Imam as-Suyuti authored an entire treatise on the recommendation of the mawlid celebration. 5. In his Fatawa, Al-Hafiz as-Sakhawi mentions that even though the mawlid was not practiced by our pious predecessors, it still holds great virtue. As-Sakhawi also authored a mawlid. 6. Al-Imam al-Qastalani asks Allah in his al-Mawahib al-Laduniyyah to shower His mercy upon the people who celebrate the birth of the Prophet (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam). 7. Allamah Ibn Hajar al-Haytami, who’s views represent the opinion from which fatwa is given in the Shafi`i school, approves of the mawlid in his al-Fatawa al-Fiqhiyyah al-Kubra. To date, I have not seen any of the School’s classical jurists condemning the practice. Thus, the Shafi’i School’s official view is that the celebration of his (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam) birthday is not just permissible, but recommended. Accordingly, the modern Shafi’i scholars who have recommended this celebration include: the former Shaykh of al-Azhar University Hasanayn Makhluf, Dr. Muhammad Sa’id Ramadan al-Buti, Egypt’s official mufti Dr. Ali Jumuah, and the great scholar and spiritual guide, sayyidi al-Habib Umar ibn Hafidh, amongst many others. In some parts of the Muslim world, the mawlid practiced is not specific to the month of Rabiul Awwal. Such is observed by the Ba’Alawi family and tariqah. Their mawlid, which in essence is the Prophetic biography composed into poetry, is celebrated on a weekly basis, generally on a Thursday evening, throughout the year. The major aim behind the reading is to familiarise the public concerning the events that took place in the Prophet’s (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam) life, thus instilling in the hearts love for Allah’s greatest beloved (al-Habib al-’Aazam), Muhammad ibn Abdillah (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam). The aim of this paper is not to change the views of those who oppose the mawlid, but rather to create an environment of tolerance where individuals, both for and against it, can appreciate the stances of one another. The fact that al-Imam ash-Shafi`i differed with his teacher, al-Imam Malik, did not mean that he, ash-Shafi`i, became hostile towards him. Let not a mas’alah mukhtalaf fihi be the cause of engaging in activity - such as speaking ill, backbiting, and so forth - these are haram by consensus.
On shayhan hate and cried about mawlidan Nabi And Indeed everyone rejoices except for Shaytan and his counterparts, because: أن إبليس رن أربع رنات حين لعن وحين أهبط وحين ولد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وحين أنزلت الفاتحة Translation: Iblis cried loudly four times, first when Allah declared him as cursed, second when he was thrown out, Third When Prophet (salallaho alaihi wasalam) was born and fourth when Surah al-Fatiha was revealed [Ibn Kathir in Al Bidayah wan-Nihayah, Volume No. 2, Page No. 166
First of all dr.phillip still needs to get the deep knowledge of Islam..
@Tyrant Frieza ... Brother. .. read ur comments ... it's seem that your knowledge about Islam is just too little though u started taking it i appreciate that .. But getting knowledge and getting corrrect knowlege is two different things ... U said sahaba did for love not for worship ...Do we do it for worship could you prove? Us said sahaba did not made it public ... who were the public at that time and is this any where in the SHARIAT that if sahaba do something is not approve for any one to do it until n unless done publicly ? U said about innovation .. Write the defination of innovatoin (biddat) here ... U said about the elevation status ofEsa alaihissalam n prophet Alaihisalam.. Christian took Esa alaihissalam as begotten son of GOD ..this is the staus given by Christian. .. Do we muslim consider the same Status as Christians do for pur beloved prophet Alaihissalam? Please try ur best to answer me
The Prophet PBUH passed away on 12th of Rabbi ul Awal. And that is the day they chose to celebrate. Oh! What ignorance can make you do. There is no solid opinion for his date of birth. Some say it was 2nd of Rabi ul Awal, some say 4th, some 6th, 8th, 9th, and so many more, including 12th. Some even mention dates in Muharraham, Ramadan, or Safr. There is no unified concensus for that. So, to celebrate his birth on the day he (SAW) passed away is nothing short of blasphemy. May Allah guide us all to a path that is closer to him.
We love our prophet more then anything in this world why shouldn’t we celebrate his arrival as the mercy for us. And the fact is there isn’t a single verse from the Quran or the Hadith which stops us from doing this.
So many things like this in Islam today. Brothers and sisters follow things they have been told and taught, saying it's from Quran and Sunnah, but they don't know it's false. Same as shahada. We follow Quran, and the Quran is clear on these points. If we celebrate Muhammad pbuh, we must celebrate all prophets the same. If we pray for Muhammad pbuh, we must pray for all prophets the same.
Just because he contributed a lot in terms of comparative religious studies doesn't mean he is the ambassador of everything about Islam. He can be wrong, and he was definitely wrong here.
But rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم celebrated his mwlid by fasting.
But he did not instruct us to fast on his birthday he gave us the days to fast Monday and Thursday by the way don't you know that there are some things which were only have to be done by prophets only and we were not instructed to do so but for him alone he did not extract us to do so because he knew that it will be something similar to Christmas in terms of celebrating
This is a major innovation. Those who opose this and still decide celebrations are out of the fold of Islam and prepare for your seats and punishment in the nar. Islam is clear and simple.
Prophet (( sawsalm????))) you first respect the prophet by saying the salat correctly and then we can talk about the mowlid But as for the mowlid mr hypocrite... can u tell me what is understood from this verse: Said Jesus, the son of Mary, "O Allah, our Lord, send down to us a table [spread with food] from the heaven to be for us a festival for the first of us and the last of us and a sign from You. And provide for us, and You are the best of providers." (5:114) So food can be celebrated according to this verse.... who is greater wahaby... food or the prophet ((( sasalm??)) “There is nothing in the Qur’aan to say that we should celebrate the Mawlid or birthday of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Indeed, he told them not to exaggerate about him as the Christians had exaggerated about Jesus (upon whom be peace). He said: “Do not exaggerate about me as the Christians exaggerated about the son of Maryam. I am only a slave, so say, ‘The slave of Allaah and His Messenger.’” we know that the Sahaabah (may Allaah be pleased with them) were the people who loved the Prophet most. Was it reported that ‘Umar, who ruled for twelve years, or ‘Uthmaan, did this? Was it reported that ‘Ali, his relative and foster son, did this? Was it reported that any of the Sahaabah did this? With all due respect Dr Bilal Philips, at the end of the day, it’s a matter of Ikhtilaaf, with hundreds of years of scholarship and valid Ijtihad. Do we have the right to disqualify people? Allah SWT knows best.
For the reason why I don’t celebrate my birthday anymore is because I learn that in the satanic Bible ,the number favorite celebration is Birthday and the origin of the birthday is from paganism because when blowing the candle you make a wish and the fire worshiping people use to do that.
Alhamdullilah we know that it is a bid'ah, he never celebrated his birthday, neither did the sahabah or the scholars of Islam, so it is bid'ah no doubt about it.
He recognised his birthday by fasting, and if its bid'aa does it mean those who celebrate it will enter jahanam for that? Since every bid'aa leads to hell...
No they will go to jannah with aqa sallalahu alaihi wassalam those ulema who say bidda should look into themselves and than give such meaningless fatwas
Did rasulullah saw fast on every Monday because it was the day he was born on or not, it is stated in Saheeh Muslim, al-Nasaa’i and Abu Dawood, which says that when he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was asked about fasting on Mondays, he said: “That is the day on which I was born…”
Mukhtar A Patel are you considering fasting a celebration? “There is nothing in the Qur’aan to say that we should celebrate the Mawlid or birthday of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Can you quote a single verse in the Quran or a single Hadith in which it is quoted that commemorating the Mawlid is bid'ah? To produce baseless uneducated proof about Islam is an act of infidelity you need to first look at yourself how much knowledge do you have, how much do you follow.Do you know what is a bid'ah?Can you define what bid'ah is?You oppose the Mawlid due to your ignorance.Do you even know what happen in the mawlid and what part of the Mawlid are you exactly against? Is it the part when Muslims get together and listen to the beautiful recitation of the Quran?Or the part where Muslims invoke Allah Almighty to send blessings and peace upon the Holy Prophet Muhammad p.b.u.h.?Or the part when Muslims and children wholeheartedly sit and listen to the stories of his life?Or is it the part when Muslims sit and eat together in the name of Allah Almighty?Which part of the Mawlid are you claiming to be wrong? please ask the people who attend the Mawlid why do they celebrate this event. They do it out of love and to increase their love and as a revival of the love for the Holy Prophet Muhammad p.b.u.h. If you choose not to celebrate the Mawlid that your choice but don't claim it is a bid'ah out of ignorance.
Farook Dinaully Literally the prophet said not to make a big deal out of him. And even his most closest companions who loved him more than us didn’t celebrate his birthday..... Allah knows best. I do not want to argue, and at the end of the day, you and I have the same religion, and we’re not completely sure on this matter. It is not part of the Quran so I cannot agree or disagree. Allah knows best. Sorry for the trouble.
With all respect to the preacher & all my brothers + sisters of faith, can anyone tell me any dalil, a clear cut one , that it mentioned "celebrating Maulid Nabi is haram, forbidden, & anyone doing it is promised the hellfire for this so-called bid'ah"? Just because the Prophet didnt do it, it doesnt mean it will be haram completely! Dont eat pizza, cheese cake, drive cars, live in bungalow or apartment then, the Prophet didnt do those, right? Celebrating Mawlid is not by having wild party, liqour and whatever... Those who celebrate Mawlid just using that day, that special time to give charity (its sunnah), feed people (its sunnah), and especially giving tazkirah on our beloved Prophet (majlis 'ilm, thats sunnah also). We use that time to introduce his teachings, his sunnah, his perfect manners and all. I know we can do this everyday tho, its not like those Mawlid celebrators (including me) are ignorant people, only following the Prophet's deeds just on Mawlid. Then again, its just feel somewhat weird to me, that showing happiness for the day of our prophet's birthday is considered haram? Seriously? Perhaps its better if : anyone who wants to celebrate Mawlid, then please do so. For those who dont want to celebrate Mawlid, (and also your birthdays, your kids birthdays, your parents birthdays etc), then please dont (sounds kinda cold to me). I wish a very good day to you guys, just like the Prophet always wish the good for his ummah, to us. Assalamualaikum.

First of all dr.phillip still needs to get the deep knowledge of Islam..
For example :
When Prophet alaihissalam did abulution at that moment sahaba took those used water of the wudu from the prophet in their hand n used to rub i their face for the barakaah ...
So my question is this ..who commanded the sahaba to act like this to show their love for prophet?
Did prophet commanded them or Allah send the order in the verses of Quran?
Answer:
From nowhere they received the comandment to act like this to show love for the prophet but it has been done by their own from the sahaba ..

You see the religion being eroded and you think it's funny?
There are tons of things which we do today, which the prophet did not do!!! Always doing something good, is ac cepted

So you saying that the Deen is incomplete?
You're insulting the Almighty,His Beloved Prophet Peace be Upon Him and the Noble Sahaba (RA).

I read your comment carefully about the mawlid and you think that all those who celebrate this event are ignorant.
(How do you know its pleasing to Allah?? wheres your evidence?)
In Islam we do everything according to the Ahlus Sunnah, the prophets time and the first 3 generation, anything new created after that, is bidah
As i said, there is nothing wrong with acknowledging the Prophets birthday as we should be happy of his birth. However, why not fast on his birthday as he did? Why sing and dance?
@@moonera6130
I read your comment carefully, first to celebrate the Mawlid is not idolising the prophet of Islam as you put it. You asked the question "Please show me where on the Quran or sunnah it says to celebrate the prophets birthday"?
If you are looking for the word Mawlid itself or for the permissibility to celebrate it you will not find it in the Quran but that doesn't mean its not there in the Quran , in chapter 10 verse 58 we read in the Quran"............LET THEM REJOICE.THAT IS BETTER THAN ALL THEIR WEALTH."
In this verse Allah Almighty is ordering us to enjoy on His grace and mercy, if we look around us we find we are surrounded by the favours of Allah Almighty but His greatest favour is the Holy prophet Muhammad p.b.u.h.. Allah Almighty says in surah Ambiyaa Verse 107 "AND WE SENT NOT YOU BUT AS A MERCY FOR THE WORLD."
I agree with you dancing in the street waving flags etc. is not part of the Mawlid but these are done by the ignorant few.
You asked me "What are you celebrating for if you are not getting rewards?"
Those who celebrate the Mawlid including myself we do it for the love of the holy Prophet p.b.u.h. and to please Allah Almighty not with the aim to gain anything out of it. It is the same with keeping fast, performing Salaah etc. we do it to please Allah Almighty.
You asked me " How do you know its pleasing to Allah?"
It is obvious for those celebrating the Mawlid to celebrate the mercy of Allah Almighty that is the beloved prophet of Allah Almighty therefore the Quran itself confirms the Milad of our beloved prophet p.b.u.h.
Thats all
If it was permissible, again, the prophet and those closest to him wouldve done it.

That verse from surah yunus is for the believers (sunni muslims who are not upon any other deviated practises) so that automatically disqualifies you from Allahs bounty. The Quran is addressing the believers of Islam I.e. sunni muslims at the time of the prophet s.a.w who are upon True haq. Ask urself how can you guys be upon true haq if ur adding to the religion? The next point that is important for us to realise is The issue of innovation(BIDI'A) a person feels they know more than the messenger (peace be upon him).
The messenger (peace be upon be him)
was sent to us in order to teach us how to worship Allah. That was the reason why he was sent. He was sent to teach us how the Almighty wants to be worshipped, so if anyone comes with an act of worship that was not taught by the Prophet (peace be upon him) he has directly insulted the messenger and also has insulted ALLAH Subhana wa Ta'ala.

S.K These are people’s opinions! Please state facts from the Quran
“There is nothing in the Qur’aan to say that we should celebrate the Mawlid or birthday of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). The Prophet himself (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did not do this or command anyone to do it, either during his lifetime or after his death. Indeed, he told them not to exaggerate about him as the Christians had exaggerated about Jesus (upon whom be peace). He said: “Do not exaggerate about me as the Christians exaggerated about the son of Maryam. I am only a slave, so say, ‘The slave of Allaah and His Messenger.’”
we know that the Sahaabah (may Allaah be pleased with them) were the people who loved the Prophet most. Was it reported that Abu Bakr, who was the closest of people to him and the one who loved him the most, celebrated the birthday of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)? Was it reported that ‘Umar, who ruled for twelve years, or ‘Uthmaan, did this? Was it reported that ‘Ali, his relative and foster son, did this? Was it reported that any of the Sahaabah did this? No, by Allaah! Is it because they were not aware of its importance, or did they not truly love the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)? No one would say such a thing except one who has gone astray and is leading others astray.”

No need for you to do so. If you really want to honor him, follow his sunnah. Be a good representative of Islam. Speak good or be silent. As he said (pbuh)
Abu Hurayra that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "By the One in whose hand my soul is, you will not enter the Garden until you submit. You will not submit until you love one another. Extend the greeting to one another and you will love one another. Beware of hatred, for it is the razor. I do not tell you that it shaves the hair, but it shaves away the deen."

How is making durood not sunnah?

Did you watch the video? This was on the topic of not celebrating Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) birthday. It never mentioned not to send darood, where did you get that from?
@@TheDisconnector
Because abundant durood is what I do on that day.
Along with other sunnah worships e.g. tahajjud ishraq duha dua Quran sadaqah etc.
The prophet fasted Monday to honour the day he was born.
So what am I doing wrong?
Hassan Iqbal
There is nothing wrong with what you did.

It is true that to single out the 12th came later
But as far as I know for centuries until very recently no scholar was ever against it.
Even ibn taymiyyah said "So one MAY magnify the birthdate of the Prophet upon him blessings and peace, AND treat it as a festival, perhaps obtaining IMMENSE REWARD for it because of his good intentions in honoring the Messenger of Allah"
The prophet said actions are according to intentions, so my intention is to honour his birthday with worship out of shukr and love for everything he did and being in his ummah. This is for akhira not dunya.
Of course the sunnah more important. But this is nafl to gain more reward.

First of all dr.phillip still needs to get the deep knowledge of Islam..

Those who say mawlid is bidah didn’t actually comprehend the concept of bidah
If I say that numerous sholars in the past said that mawlid is mustahab. The likeness of imam Asqalani the commentator of sahih al bukhari and imam As Suyuti the hafidth of Hadith and Faqih just to name a few. Then the argument that in the first few hundred years it wasn’t celebrated so it’s bidah actually indicates 2 things.
That imam Asqalani didn’t understand the concept of bidah or the opponents of mawlid like dr Bilal phillips didn’t understand the concept of bidah

What would u say when prophet kept fast on the day he was born?
Is fasting considered as "celebration"?

Let's be fair, I really don't celebrate Mowlid but let's be fair, it just a gathering of Thikr and ilm which is meritorious, I know some places do some hectic things, but Thikr(salawaat) and ilm(seerah) can't be bidah.
Masha Allah. Ya Dr.

The Celebration of Mawlid in Light of the Shafi’i School
The present era has seen several works authored for and against the celebration of the birth of the Prophet (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam).
In brief, their arguments may be condensed as follows:
Imam Muslim narrates that the Prophet (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam) was asked regarding the fasting of Monday, to which he replied, “That is the day on which I was born.”
4. Then, Abbas (radiyaAllahu anhu) recited what was possibly the first mawlid ever, “And when you were born (O Prophet) the earth shone bright and the horizon was radiant.”
A perfunctory survey is given below of scholars in the Shafi’i School who held that the mawlid is recommended:
1. al-Imam an-Nawawi’s shaykh, head of the famous Syrian school, Dar al-Hadith al-Ashrafiyyah, the great Shafi`i jurist and traditionist, Abdur Rahman ibn Ismail, well-known as Abu Shamah. He states in his Risalah,
“And among the best innovated actions in these times are those actions that take place every year coinciding with the birth of the Prophet (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam) such as charity, good deeds, personal beautification, joy, and so forth, as they speak of love and reverence for the beloved Prophet (sallAllahu alayhi wasallm)…”
DjazakAllah may Allah bless you.
On shayhan hate and cried about mawlidan Nabi

True..
is companions of the prophet do celebration of birthday of the prophet ?
First of all dr.phillip still needs to get the deep knowledge of Islam..
@Tyrant Frieza ...
Brother. .. read ur comments ... it's seem that your knowledge about Islam is just too little though u started taking it i appreciate that ..
Please try ur best to answer me
So whats wrong if we celebrate our prophet birthday .
We are not allowed to do what he didn't do
Ma shaa Alloh!
Excellent comment Hood 👌👌👌
Very good explanation Ma Sha Allah

Did the prophet organize Quran reading contest????
We love our prophet more then anything in this world why shouldn’t we celebrate his arrival as the mercy for us. And the fact is there isn’t a single verse from the Quran or the Hadith which stops us from doing this.
Hey the day prophet arrive it is happiness day but what about that day when he leave this world bro
What about sadness
So many things like this in Islam today. Brothers and sisters follow things they have been told and taught, saying it's from Quran and Sunnah, but they don't know it's false. Same as shahada. We follow Quran, and the Quran is clear on these points. If we celebrate Muhammad pbuh, we must celebrate all prophets the same. If we pray for Muhammad pbuh, we must pray for all prophets the same.
Masha Allah very nice explanation
We are supposed to remember Allah everyday and not just on Mawlid. 👌
You must take that back .... Never call ppl kafier
@@mrharoun3214 well isn't it clear they are out of of Islam. I never called them kafir
Alhumdullilah we celebrate with pride n dignity And love our beloved Nabi saw..Allah and the Auliyah are very happy with us Alhumdullilah
How can you claim love by going against the Noble Quran, the Sunnah of the Prophet Peace be Upon Him and that of his Noble Companions (RA)
We worship the one and only Almighty Allah SWT.
Worshipping anyone else like Saints is an act of shirk.
Prophet (( sawsalm????))) you first respect the prophet by saying the salat correctly and then we can talk about the mowlid
But as for the mowlid mr hypocrite... can u tell me what is understood from this verse: Said Jesus, the son of Mary, "O Allah, our Lord, send down to us a table [spread with food] from the heaven to be for us a festival for the first of us and the last of us and a sign from You. And provide for us, and You are the best of providers." (5:114)
So food can be celebrated according to this verse.... who is greater wahaby... food or the prophet ((( sasalm??)) SAL ALLAH ALEHI WA ALEHI WA SALEM
The prophet is greater, my question to YOU is what is greater? Your bid'ah or the sunnah of the prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam.
@@zak.886 the Sunnah is Biddah

Don’t make it wrong
With all due respect Dr Bilal Philips, at the end of the day, it’s a matter of Ikhtilaaf, with hundreds of years of scholarship and valid Ijtihad. Do we have the right to disqualify people? Allah SWT knows best.
The ikhtilaf happened because some misguided human beings spread this bid'ah which was not even practiced by the first 3 generations of Muslim.
@@Emsyaz it was
@@ahlulsuffiyah4888 The first 3 generations of pious and gighly knowledgeable Muslims did not celebrate Mawlid.
Hence, its a bid'ah.
Everyone should celebrate meelad un nabi and it will be celebrated till qiyamah until the true muslims r alive
The first question in your grave will be about salah not did you celebrate the prophets birthday or not. Let’s get the priorities right.
Put perfectly 😊
For the reason why I don’t celebrate my birthday anymore is because I learn that in the satanic Bible ,the number favorite celebration is Birthday and the origin of the birthday is from paganism because when blowing the candle you make a wish and the fire worshiping people use to do that.
Mawlid is not bid’ah, May Allah (SWT) guide you.
Alhamdullilah we know that it is a bid'ah, he never celebrated his birthday, neither did the sahabah or the scholars of Islam, so it is bid'ah no doubt about it.
It is bid'ah
It's bid'ah

You wrote "There is nothing in the Quran to say that we should celebrate the Mawlid...."
Can you quote a single verse in the Quran or a single Hadith in which it is quoted that commemorating the Mawlid is bid'ah?
There is a huge difference Christians celebrating Christmas and the Mawlid.Christians worship Jesus as God or son of God,we celebrate the Mawlid out of love and gratitude towards our beloved prophet p.b.u.h.As muslims how can we not be happy for sending us our guide in life, how to live our lives in the best possible way and who would intercede for a sinner like myself.
Farook Dinaully Also, I didn’t claim it was bidah, this is from a reliable scholarly website. Not my opinion because I’m not a scholar.
I agree ..We will celebrate the birthday of our Holy Prophet and let Bilal talk about the elements of meta physics ..Check his background too
