These two are not connected, this tutorial was done before Gherkin and was without Grasshopper at all. So ever time, I included some tutorials that have GH components and procedures in them. Definitely easier to create glass mesh with Grasshopper though :D
Thanks! T-splines plugin. It is outdated and doesn't work any more :) If you want to do something similar, I'd suggest going with SubD tools for Rhino 7 :)
Hello Mr. How can I Change the direction of the Iso Curve. When I run the command _ExtractIsoCurve. It only adds a curve but in Horizontal direction, How can I Change it? 24:50 in your Video. Many Thanks Emmanuel
Hey Emmanuel, When you execute the command, press T (for toggle) and this will give you an option to change the direction of the isocurve :) Hope that helps!
Hey Shadhid. Thank you! Glad you find it helpful. There will be information about beginner tutorials on my VIP email list. You can sign up here and you'll get informed once these kind of tutoring is available bit.ly/2Ocx3Pv
Hey Paolo, thanks for your comment! So the pink one is the T-spline toolbar, the yellow ones are Visibility toolbar and Selection toolbar. They come quite in handy sometimes, that's why I like to have them visible. Hope that helps! Cheers :)
@@kevinhugle307 Yes, if you have Rhino 6 license, you can have access to Rhino 7 WIP version. In that version, you have Sub-D tools which are native Rhino tools that are working the same way as T-splines. However, they are still in development meaning they are not perfect, but you can use them to get the same result as in the tutorial ;)
Thanks Will! Unfortunately, T-splines is not an active plugin for Rhinoceros 6 any more because Autodesk bought this company and now this plugin is implemented in another software called Fusion 360 from Autodesk. However, there is a workaround. The plugin can still be downloaded from here: www.tsplines.com/latest_version/ But again, this is only for Rhino version 5. If you're using Rhino 6, there's a similar plugin called Clayoo from TDM solutions, but it is overpriced in my opinion, but it basically does the same thing as T-splines. There's good news, in the future versions of Rhino, they are planning to implement all this t-splines magic as integrated part of Rhino which will be super awesome :) Hope that helped you out a bit!
Hi Junchen, Do you still have the problem to play the video? Nobody else had these problems, maybe it has to do something with your internet connection?

In order to get curved corners, you have to use the command "remove creases" for all vertices in T-splines :)
