The Opening has changed once again, slightly but noticeable. SPOILERS! This episode gave chills throughout, and yup I knew Tomari would lose this one, and that new Lianorn... is Scary, also noticed throughout this fight that Urara began to use cards outside of Lianorn, like Inlet Pulse, she may be stronger but she feels more empty than happy, it's like when she talks in this episode you can feel that her voice is so empty and lifeless (Karin Kagami definitely did a good job). Another thing is that AI (forgot the name if it had one) and Michiru conversation where the AI only knows winning is the only path to be the ultimate and Michiru saying otherwise, and they fight and how Michiru just wants to fight and not anything else (which is very alarming), and only now I noticed that near the end of Episode 8 we see Jinki with his headphones off and then he looks at the AI, so does that mean that Michiru lost to Jinki because the AI was helping him? Finally something I noticed is when Halona meets Tomari and Megumi for the first time she refers to their avatars respectively but then when Yuyu steps in Halona gives a cold expression and refers to him as Yuyu and not his avatar like Nirvana or Trickstar, which might be hinting something, is he not worthy of Nirvana or Trickstar or does she see him as a threat to Uniformers' philosophy? Who knows at this point. Next is Urara VS Yuyu, don't know if we get to see the new Vairina here but then I feel like I don't know who will win, because it can be obvious that Urara would win but then another possible outcome is that Yuyu will win against Urara and then Halona steps in and defeats Yuyu. Imagine if the opening changes and they put the New Vairina and Lianorn Masques this time.
My theory on why Halona doesn't refer to Yuyu as either Nirvana or Trickstar is because of what both of those units represent. The Gryphogila and Dragontree are prophesied to change Cray in the tome that Orphist found. The tome is believed to be a prophecy from Messiah - Cray's deity before the war between the two gods annihilated both Messiah and its counterpart Gyze. That's why Orphist chose to go along with Zorga, he believed it to he his destiny in fulfilling the prophecy of Messiah. Nirvana is the new deity born to cray - one with the power to bring either hope or despair depending on the prayers of Cray's residents. Nirvana has even died and turned to ash protecting Rino when Bavsagra intended to destroy the world and lead the new one. Nirvana was reborn as Jheva. Trickstar is kind of like an alien to Cray. Suddenly existed with only the feeling that he's suppose to go with thr Blaze Maidens. I'm guessing that Nirvana, being the new Deity to cray is capable of overthrowing this old prophecy of Gryphosid and Dragontree. Trickstar abilities of oD and X-oD are based on prayers, similar to Nirvana. This shows in Yuyu in how he grows according to the people he's with.
Probably Holana not facing him instead they probably are running away. The way she look at him like he is actually threat. But yeah Yuyu like have his own unique quirk he can felt trickstar and source if having connections with him. But idk the way like he can actually see trickstar in season 1 make me wonder if he like some kind of chosen one like Chrono.
@Green Pretty sure Trickstar is heavily inspired by Blaster Blade the same way Yuyu is heavily inspired by Aichi. Also because its much easier to create many forms of Trickstar (Vairina) when its the rearguard since they wanted the TD boss to last for a long time at the start. Also Yuyu's role is kind of a mix between Aichi, Ibuki and Chrono. Aichi for being able to hear the voices of the cards and Chrono for bonding with only 1 unit. Yuyu's Vanguard is the new Deity of Cray so he's like Ibuki in that sense
The episode does such a interesting show using the fight. It shows Urarara doesn't lose her personality, but her playstyle is clearly not her usual self, creating a creepy juxtaposition. Showing it against a control heavy deck is such a interesting way to show Urara not using skills to win the match. This is an interesting kind of evil. It's not outright wrong, and if you want to become stronger, it does seem ideal to practice and simulate to work around the opponent's strategy, even if it deviates from your original style. But I guess it's a debate of if you want to win with your style even if it's less certain to win; or if you want to win even if you have to give up your style. Both can be fun, so it's a debate of personal principle.
So masques is being obsessed with winning and nothing else. Makes sense when you consider that being the ultimate according to the AI is always winning and never losing. This is the part of losing individuality that is seen as bad by the protagonists. There are things you learn by losing that you'll never learn by always winning. Also you can see how Urara said that she'll win with her Masques. Its like she becomes relient on the mask that gives her power and not her own powers
I get everyone making the joke “playing smart and knowing the match up equals evil oh nooo” but let’s be real they say everyone knows what their signing up for but we see they never tell urara about having her individuality ripped away from her gameplay. If it were pro fighters then yeah I’d get it results are everything but for people who want to improve while still enjoying the game this is pretty messed up. Urara enjoyed the game before now the only aspect she enjoys is the winning. Thats what makes its “evil” that and then hacking the frigging cia
And yet again the whole consenting to what your participating in is really important is jump into vr Cardfights to if I could get strong but not if it’s gonna alter my personality in anyway
Oh my gosh this episode... this whole season has just been so good and _painful_ like sheesh- and this episode just... at least they've stopped succeeding in recruiting more of the good guys. Urara sure has changed... her style's pretty different... it sure feels like the only similarity is the card names, to be honest- And also just... I was recently joking about how little Yu-yu has done this season so imagine my surprise when he spoke at the end there-~ EDIT: Also having thought on it... yeah there wasn't much excitement in this fight... just worry. And also... the Masques things... sort of like throwing away your old self, it feels like. And hasn't Yu-yu said that overDress is embracing all past versions of yourself, or something? This is very much something I expect to be brought up.
Basically Uniformers are the players that net deck and play as optimally as possible. Whereas Blackout is everyone that plays casually and puts pet cards in the deck.
Urara is reminding me of aichi when he was getting his psyqualia. Which was getting stronger by any means necessary. And I bet the new mirror Vairina is gonna be the one to defeat all of the masques because it will show them what they have become and will remind them why their personality was important.
I got an easy counter to the whole argument the Uniformers are making. If they're trying to make the 'Perfect Fighter', but if everyone is 'Perfect'...then who is the most perfect of all? Because if everyone is 'Perfect' then they only have each other to fight, and by the nature of the game SOMEONE has to lose, thus they aren't Perfect anymore if they do. Lol
Hmm.. On 3rd season of OG series, Aichi became a leader of Cardfight Club and a total badass. On 3rd season of OD series, which was will+dress, Yuyu became a leader of Blackout and a total badass. Is this a pattern I see?)
First of all, Masque Lianorn, waifu material. Second, good God it might be just me but Urara being all confident and sassy it's feels....off and almost unsettling. I mean she still has her bubbly attitude but it's just doesn't feel like...her. Also ayo leader Yuyu is back and i really want to know more about that weird Jinki AI Michiru talking with.
So Masque is this vanguard counter part for Reverse and being one of them is just a matter of how persuasive your enemy (Uniformers) is to you joining them 🤔 Also like the design for Lianorn Masque but plain Lianorn looks is better 😎👌
Yuyu showing up just peak MC energy she talked a lot of shit for someone in Vairina distance poor her, the mind control and realizing a friend was so long gone
Well, seems like characters here are a slight step up from Yugioh. They actually read the cards and come prepared too, even tho that makes em seem evil. Lol But nah. Great episode. It isnt evil to help everyone become stronger, but it isnt worth it if they lose their individuality. Thats what makes fights fun, otherwise you will just know what to watch for and counter it all the time. -cough cough meta cough cough- Anyway, cant wait for the next episode! ^^
I thought Tomari ended up joining like Zakusa. She didn’t yet fortunately but poor Zakusa, he could’ve helped Danji out a little more but they snatched him away to become the one who must not be named theory
They did not have to wash my girl urara head like that😭. It even makes me sad because once they figure out how to stop the team, she gonna be real upset when she get them memory’s back, and finding out what happened. Why they gotta do her like that😭
Imagine mirror is a skill where u discard a number of hand cards during your turn, and your opponent discards the same number of cards as you and in return, u gain power and critical for a certain number of cards discarded
I hope I'm wrong but i think that the ending animation is foreshadowing Mirei Dying or being hurt In the scene right after it zooms on her cards we see a tire and later in the video we see reference pictures of foods and sweets followed by red 🚦 and then the scene with the rain drop or Tear falling on her eye/eyes it's making Me worried they might kill her off for plot
So far the uniformers came across as obnoxious salesmen rather than actually "evil". At least here the whole "brainwashing" just seems to be people learning matchups and optimizing play patterns. Well, that and masque cards infiltrating decks. I still feel like I don't really know where the show is heading at this point, which could be a good thing, not sure.
So these *_Masque_* cards use *_Masque_* of Hydragrum to *_persona_* ride *_masked_* versions of grade-3 vanguards. How very Jungian, wonder what it means for the characters though? You can't bring Jung into it and not have something going on with their psyches.
Its happening urara is going to be that ultimate fighter they talked about or at least like a body for the mind of that ai thing michiru was talking to.
Drajewelled Masques also confirmed. 'Dragon Masquarade' is basically didn't hide anything that it won't be Drajewelled. And of course, he will destroy Danji once again from the opening hint. Or Yuyu. But next week is finally new Vairina Also from two of Michiru's lose, I think they will give Drajewelled Masques CC and if he got frozen at 1 attack skill, like Valeos, then that would be awesome. The only thing that disturb Drajewelled onslaught is dmg trigger after using Drajewelled skill, if Masques gave him power to froze and constrict the power then that's exactly what he needs.
@@anonnimoose7987 Absurd. Think logically before spouting nonsense. Why in nine realms would they gave Yuyu both Masques AND new Vairina? That's not how it works. Yuyu, Raika and Danji won't get Masques.
Am I the only one that thinks the Uniformers aren't doing anything wrong? Like unless there's some otherworldly crazy stuff happening behind the scenes they haven't actually done anything bad besides maybe being careless and not contacting the families of their members to tell them where they are. All they've been trying to do is basically optimize and solve the game. Which is what a lot of gaming communities already do irl just without all the high tech and training programs. Like how is playing optimally and adapting to match ups "giving up your style?" That doesn't make any sense. What's even funnier is the Uniformers aren't even forcing anyone to do anything. If they didn't want to join they could just say no and refuse to play them.
I'd assume she is just a Constable or some sorts, not even a full Inspector. So she can't mobilize the entire force just because some group did something she isn't fond of. That and the police against an organization that has the backings of a multinational company? 99.9% the company will win.
I like how Urara being evil is just knowing how to deal with the matchup

If it were pro fighters then yeah I’d get it results are everything but for people who want to improve while still enjoying the game this is pretty messed up. Urara enjoyed the game before now the only aspect she enjoys is the winning. Thats what makes its “evil” that and then hacking the frigging cia
And yet again the whole consenting to what your participating in is really important is jump into vr Cardfights to if I could get strong but not if it’s gonna alter my personality in anyway
No not my Urara! My sweet innocent best girl Urara
The feeling I got from Urara as she cardfights in this episode...unsettled me. Yu-yu, bring back the true Urara-chan!!!
Oh my gosh this episode... this whole season has just been so good and _painful_ like sheesh- and this episode just... at least they've stopped succeeding in recruiting more of the good guys.
Urara sure has changed... her style's pretty different... it sure feels like the only similarity is the card names, to be honest-
And also just... I was recently joking about how little Yu-yu has done this season so imagine my surprise when he spoke at the end there-~
EDIT: Also having thought on it... yeah there wasn't much excitement in this fight... just worry.
And also... the Masques things... sort of like throwing away your old self, it feels like. And hasn't Yu-yu said that overDress is embracing all past versions of yourself, or something? This is very much something I expect to be brought up.
I don’t know why but the scene Yuyu show up is some how remind me of acini and is very cool
Stand up, the Vanguard
Another great fight this season!
looks like link joker found a new way to spread it's influence.
I'm so happy finally we get new prison support!
Yeah good for you. One card. Congrats. Everything else is Liarnon's
I'm guessing we will be getting a Tomari vs Urara fight but will we be getting a Lianorn Masque unit or a new Seraph Snow?
Why not both!
There's always Aurora
Nah I'm guessing the Greedon dude will fight Urara, bcs of how much he hates change and wants to be himself and his deal with purple hair
Lianorn Masque yes, New seraph no. They do get support but no Seraph
@@dlandocker8041 Why not Drajeweled ? Greedon can be fodder for seeing Drajeweled Masque
No way, this is just like the link joker arc
Finally the next episode will be the Awakening of the new Vairina
Cannot wait for the next episode
Could it be that the new Mirrors vairina will be finally shown?
Basically Uniformers are the players that net deck and play as optimally as possible.
Whereas Blackout is everyone that plays casually and puts pet cards in the deck.
Urara is reminding me of aichi when he was getting his psyqualia. Which was getting stronger by any means necessary.
And I bet the new mirror Vairina is gonna be the one to defeat all of the masques because it will show them what they have become and will remind them why their personality was important.
Urara gives me United Sanctuary Taiyou vibes x3 including the predictions.
12:28 I got a "life hack" from Urara 🙃
Great episode
Sooo we're back to the banner hunt
Oh no that description...
23:02 YUYU IS BADASS
Finally, we gonna get the new Vairina
I got an easy counter to the whole argument the Uniformers are making. If they're trying to make the 'Perfect Fighter', but if everyone is 'Perfect'...then who is the most perfect of all? Because if everyone is 'Perfect' then they only have each other to fight, and by the nature of the game SOMEONE has to lose, thus they aren't Perfect anymore if they do. Lol
Farewell Tomari-chan 😥😥😥
Finally We gonna get Prison support
Hmm.. On 3rd season of OG series, Aichi became a leader of Cardfight Club and a total badass.
On 3rd season of OD series, which was will+dress, Yuyu became a leader of Blackout and a total badass.
Is this a pattern I see?)
Masques will be something like a Reversed in Link Joker 🤔
urara is like s1 aichi, brainwashed by power, and now yuyu is like kai trying to bring back old aichi
But this time it's different gender
And Tomari is Kourin that tried to turn them back and failed and ask another person for help
I want my pure bubbly Urara back 😩
It's up to you now, Yu-yu.
So Masque is this vanguard counter part for Reverse and being one of them is just a matter of how persuasive your enemy (Uniformers) is to you joining them 🤔
Also like the design for Lianorn Masque but plain Lianorn looks is better 😎👌
I gonna shoot call the next few episodes matches. Ep 11 : Raika VS Michiru. Ep 12 : Danji Vs Michiru. Ep13:Yuyu vs jinki
YOOO, I WAS RIGHT, LMAO
If you turn ep 13 to first ep of w+d season 3 you were fully right. You guessed the fight that months later too lmao awasome XD
Yuyu showing up just peak MC energy
she talked a lot of shit for someone in Vairina distance
poor her, the mind control and realizing a friend was so long gone
I love this Urara
three episodes but you can already tell the last episode is going to be so fire
Megumi who didn’t mature enough to lead and protect blackout at that time and always thinks of Danji shows why she is not that strong
Can't wait
Next week is definitely Yuyu is definitely winning with mirrors image vairina
Well, seems like characters here are a slight step up from Yugioh. They actually read the cards and come prepared too, even tho that makes em seem evil. Lol
But nah. Great episode. It isnt evil to help everyone become stronger, but it isnt worth it if they lose their individuality. Thats what makes fights fun, otherwise you will just know what to watch for and counter it all the time. -cough cough meta cough cough-
Anyway, cant wait for the next episode! ^^
I thought Tomari ended up joining like Zakusa. She didn’t yet fortunately but poor Zakusa, he could’ve helped Danji out a little more but they snatched him away to become the one who must not be named theory
Urara finna get that divine spanking from Yuyu
They did not have to wash my girl urara head like that😭. It even makes me sad because once they figure out how to stop the team, she gonna be real upset when she get them memory’s back, and finding out what happened. Why they gotta do her like that😭
I was expecting megumi to fight urara next. I wasn't expecting yuyu to appear here. Oh well.
Man in the Mirror about to slap Lianorn.
Or just show a reflection
Either Busted or poetic 😊I'm happy either one.
Imagine mirror is a skill where u discard a number of hand cards during your turn, and your opponent discards the same number of cards as you and in return, u gain power and critical for a certain number of cards discarded
Mirror Equip. Let's goooo
Why do I get the feeling Megumi will willingly join Uniformers if Yuyu beats Urara?
Masques is basically D-series Reverse arc
I bet Yuyu will win but Urara still not rescue from brainwashed yet.
It's link joker arc all over again
I hope I'm wrong but i think that the ending animation is foreshadowing Mirei Dying or being hurt
In the scene right after it zooms on her cards we see a tire and later in the video we see reference pictures of foods and sweets followed by red 🚦 and then the scene with the rain drop or Tear falling on her eye/eyes it's making Me worried they might kill her off for plot
Masque = reverse. I think we can see the return of Link Joker in this season.🤣
And here I'm still waiting for Halona fight/deck since deluxe last season 🥲
? Halona didn’t show up until this season
@@Sol-Kage oh shit you right, mistaken her with another character 😅
@@zairiefezzren4381 Guessing you mistook her for Sophie
@Sol Kage mistaken her with Himari Kanoashi one of the contestant last season
So far the uniformers came across as obnoxious salesmen rather than actually "evil". At least here the whole "brainwashing" just seems to be people learning matchups and optimizing play patterns. Well, that and masque cards infiltrating decks. I still feel like I don't really know where the show is heading at this point, which could be a good thing, not sure.
I feel like the uniformers are basically the reverse fighters from the original series
I find it a little ironic the person defending individuality is a police office.
Or zakusa
I really hope that the Blackout won't get merged into the Uniformers like Raika's team was.
Drajewelled Masques also confirmed. 'Dragon Masquarade' is basically didn't hide anything that it won't be Drajewelled. And of course, he will destroy Danji once again from the opening hint. Or Yuyu. But next week is finally new Vairina
Also from two of Michiru's lose, I think they will give Drajewelled Masques CC and if he got frozen at 1 attack skill, like Valeos, then that would be awesome. The only thing that disturb Drajewelled onslaught is dmg trigger after using Drajewelled skill, if Masques gave him power to froze and constrict the power then that's exactly what he needs.
S5 new features:fusion Drive=two monster become one
so this series danji is main character?
More masked unit pls don't masked bavsargra 😂 i like her the way she is now not reverse or something along the word 😞
I'm hoping Yu-Yu gets reversed instead, letting Megumi and Mirei save him
Since we only have two active Dragon Empire users in the anime, one of them will be getting a Masque form for sure...
@@SummerTokyoNeko pls don't buddy 🥲
@@anonnimoose7987 Absurd. Think logically before spouting nonsense. Why in nine realms would they gave Yuyu both Masques AND new Vairina? That's not how it works. Yuyu, Raika and Danji won't get Masques.
@@kodokutamashi1569 this
Am I the only one that thinks the Uniformers aren't doing anything wrong?
Like unless there's some otherworldly crazy stuff happening behind the scenes they haven't actually done anything bad besides maybe being careless and not contacting the families of their members to tell them where they are.
All they've been trying to do is basically optimize and solve the game. Which is what a lot of gaming communities already do irl just without all the high tech and training programs.
Like how is playing optimally and adapting to match ups "giving up your style?" That doesn't make any sense.
What's even funnier is the Uniformers aren't even forcing anyone to do anything. If they didn't want to join they could just say no and refuse to play them.
Dragontree has finally spread it's roots, god dammit I knew deku is Alien level SUS
Next week i can see the mirror vairina
Tomari is a police officer, right?
Why doesn’t she use her authority to make the Uniformers dissolve🤔🤔
A single police officer againts an organization that has big company support it
I'd assume she is just a Constable or some sorts, not even a full Inspector. So she can't mobilize the entire force just because some group did something she isn't fond of.
That and the police against an organization that has the backings of a multinational company? 99.9% the company will win.
If Yuyu turns here than then the 2 person that might try and turn him back is Mirei (maybe) and Danji
It not like when u lose you become evil. It not link joker.
Is anybody else getting link joker flashbacks from the season?
it's a weird mix of link joker season and team demise to me.
It kind of like link joker but with no supernatural or automatically forces an individual to join the other side
Acá llegó tu papi, para ponerte orden xD
Tomari should've guard that attack from a rear guard.. I dunno, please explain to me😅
