Welcome to the beautiful city of Ayia Napa, where we will now explore interesting places. Ayia Napa is the largest tourist resort in Cyprus and hosts around 700,000 foreign visitors in the summer. Agia Napa was founded around 1790 and was just a fishing village until the 1970s, when tourists from the northern part of the island moved here as a result of the Turkish invasion. There are 27 beaches, 14 of which have a blue flag, the most visited of which is Nissi Beach, which attracts with its Nissi Island. Other famous beaches are Makronissos Beach, Glyki Nero Beach, Landa Beach, Harbor Beach, Limanaki, Pantahou Beach, Sandy Bay.
Ayia Napa is a tourist resort in the Famagusta district of Cyprus, which has approximately 3,200 permanent residents. Ayia Napa is located on the southeast coast of the island near Cape Greko. Agia Napa has a number of bars and discotheques, a maritime museum, an aqua park and a sculpture park, the MUSAN museum and, since 1985, a large international cultural festival has been held here every year in September.
