Great video guys! Just a small correction: the Thing you called Cypriot sausage, it’s called sheftalia and it is minced meat with herbs wrapped with the membrane that surrounds the stomach of pig/lamb. Glad you liked our food!! Take care guys

If some foods have a Turkish name it's because Greeks were Turkish slaves for 400 years.

Nice to have you in our island. Thank you for your videos. At 8.01 this is a Cypriot traditional food called SIEFTALIA 🥰 I wish I have met you in person during your staying to take you for a tour to our villages and to have a lunch with us with home traditional food from my 80 years mother and to feel the spirit of our hospitality. My mother always treat our guests when gifts like almonds, trahana, raisin, jam and zivania 😍 Maybe next time. Just a kind suggestion. Your title at the end that the food in Norther Cyprus is cheaper with the word Turkey in brackets its not correct. Cyprus is an Independent Country as a whole. North, south east and west. Turkey is another country. Turkey invaded our island violating all rules of international law and norther part of our island is occupied by force. Big Hugs, stay healthy and be always happy 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

There is no North and South Cyprus. There is only the Republic of Cyprus. North Cyprus is a de facto state that comprises the northeastern portion of the island of Cyprus, which has no universal recognition . The Turkish Army maintains a large force in Northern Cyprus illegally and has occupied that part over the use of violence since 1974.

@@samio4166 This isn't the right place for political comments. It's a video for holidays and fun. But we have to explain that the country called Republic of Cyprus and only in this way the country became member of EU etc. Cyprus is a recognised country. "Northern Cyprus" is not. Many Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cyprus are friends and both of communities have commons. One of them...food. Most of Turkish Cyprus are Muslim, but they eat pork and shieftalia. Mind you, biggest reason why everything's cheaper is because mama Turkey's high inflation as a result of poor decisions in regards to interest rates, which should not be part of presidential prerogative in this century we live in 🤣
