We are more than happy to work with them on this. I already worked with some of the old ExpressLRS devs in the past, they are cool guys. Cheers mate!😊🍻
We need 5 buttons, including the REC button. Unless you don’t want to include the auto scan function so just use UP/DOWN channel and REC. Cheers mate!😊🍻
Great job man. One day all my video setups will be on OpenIPC. Can you tell us how much processing power do these boards have? Since they are using linux, how flexible are they for doing extra operations?
The RK CPU is quite powerful and can do fast decoding. Most regular applications will run perfectly fine on Radxa. It’s a new SOC with a lot of potentials and the price is amazing. Cheers mate!😊🍻
I would love to be an early adopter of openIPC, but figuring out what the best parts to buy and where to buy it is kind of a hassle. Would there be a way we could get a parts list of what the most recommended parts to buy are? for both VRX and VTX
Hello I just discovered your channel and am new to this, can you explain me whats the difference between this and using a raspberry? I also would like to know how I can start and maybe contribute to this project.
awesome , i can finally use those buttons i have in my radxa VRx !!! , do i have to re-solder my 5 way switch to specific gpio pins ? or can i just go of what petru had setup on his ruby HD site ?
@@mariofpv its fucking awesome, sound like, I will try wfb ng, but get Lost with drone Key and GS Key, can we have in the next update, a bind process with a password like elrs ?
There are now buttons on the configurator. You need to have both drone and GS connected to the same network with your computer and then follow the instructions in the Setup tab.
@@electronicGRL if you use the radxa v1.7 image it will have a generic GS key , once you setup the channel on the air unit to be the same as the GS it should just connect automatically to the runcam air unit you have (atleast this was the case for me)
We are changing the OpenIPC WFB channel of the quadcopter from the Betaflight OSD VTX menu. Then we are using the new buttons on Radxa Zero 3w to change channel. We don’t need any computer to configure OpenIPC cameras or the Radxa Zero 3w VRX. Nobody said this video was for analog VTX. Read the video description if you want to learn more information. Cheers mate!😊🍻
@@mariofpv What I see in the video is 'Band A, B... or fatshark' is what I used to see on analog VTX. The channel isn't '161 or 165' either, it's '1 2 3 4 5' . I was mistaken.
Thanks!
Thank you so much Radxa! Our community is grateful for your amazing hardware!😊🙏
One step at a time this system is getting better, great job as always!
Cheers mate!😊🍻
Great! It will be the best digital system, i am shure!
Cheers mate!😊🍻
Excellent Mario 👍
Thank you for the support my friend!😊🙏
@@mariofpv welcome my friend 😊
Dude. Your really taking it to new levels so quickly.
Cheers mate!😊🍻
super cool, cant wait for some sort of goggles for this system!!!
These buttons addition was important for the goggles future development. We are one step closer to the OpenIPC goggles. Cheers mate!😊🍻
Great. I like your development
Cheers mate!😊🍻
Nice work! This would be a great application for ExpressLRS Backpack.

Super. AWESOME!!!!
Thank you for everything you do for our project my friend!😊🙏
Great! I will modify the Radxa Zero casing for three buttons :)

@@mariofpvso a 5 way hat switch would be perfect! There is one, 3d printed, made for DIY joysticks that will look great.
@@mariofpv what's the function of the 5th button? Record Start/Stop, Channel Up, Channel Down, Auto Scan and ...?

Have a look at our wiki page. You’ll find a link in the video description. In our wiki we have all the recommended hardware to buy. Cheers mate!😊🍻

They are exactly the same buttons, the same GPIO pins. No need any resoldering. Thank you for your support!😊🙏

Yes we modify the VTX table in the Betaflight. We don’t use Band A B, we use WLANLINK band if you see on the video.
