I saw Fairy Tail anime until it's long hiatus, and I've never knew from where the hell magic came. Had a lot of thinks that I didn't like, only the characters were pretty cool, but never knowing the origins of magic, the main power of the franchise, was weird for a shounen.

@@172prv Nah, I think beating 3 Warlords, making one his subordinate, and another directly support him, invading 3 of the most secure Navy facilities, causing the only mass breakout of Impel Down ever, punching a Celestial Dragon, surviving encounters from 4 admirals, standing on equal grounds with Whitebeard, punching Garp in front of everybody, claiming Fishman Island as his territory, acquiring a grand fleet of over 5000 members, invading Big Mom's territory, and not only walking away without losing a single crew member, but also defeating two of her sweet commanders in the process, as well as directly attacking her, and now invading and directly challenging two Emperors at once, I think that's what makes him an Emperor. It's not about raw strength. It's about influence and threat.

This did a great job establishing reality. Luffy came to Wano fresh off his victory over the yonko commanders of big mom and was feeling froggy. Now he knows that while there may only be one rank difference between yonko and yonko commander, that rank is mt everest in size. We see it again later on when big mom, not even at her full strength, just casually bodies Queen. No weapon, no fancy haki tricks, just goes "Lol, Bronto goes boom!" and hammer tossed him across his own prison area. Even now, at the post 1k chapter we see luffy is NOT a yonko yet. He is stronger than this video clip by far, has the right skills up his sleeve to fight, but he isnt ready to reenact the fight between kaido and big mom. Unless he wants to play the landscape being obliterated around them with every move. But at least now he is capable of making them notice they are in a fight. And making them actually try in order to beat him one on one.

My favourite part about this is that Kaido hit Luffy so hard that he destroyed the wall of Oden Castle, and was sent flying right back to his feet after deflating from Gear 4. He didn't just get one shot, he got humiliated
Around this time last year I seen this clip in my RUclips recommended and never watched OP but this made me… hear we are a year later finally caught up to this moment and it was beyond WORTH IT 🔥

Funny when Luffy knocked out doffy all if not most of dressrossa was flipped. The force doffy had would have to be really strong to upturn dressrossa but when kaido beats Luffy with thunder bagua only a small crater in the mountain. The hit of a Yonko should be insanely strong
First, Wano is much bigger than Dressrosa and likely the mountain is massive in comparison and second an inflated rubber object wouldn't leave as large of an imprint on the terrain as a solid object like Dolflamingo was

The 2nd fight must have been so brutal that Oda thought it would be better if they do it off-screen
3rd time happened with Luffy's first huge fight (Crocodile). Maybe same logic could apply here, since it's now greatly evolved into a Yonko.

This arc is so good😭I dropped the anime because of the pacing in dressrosa but after reading chapter 1000 I think I might have to go back and at least watch this arc.
pacing of wano in the anime is much better, its only been a bit slow a few times
