Correct, Hornets have been rubbish to watch this year, but since the trade deadline, they've been a different team altogether. It's only been 2 games so far, but having actual rotational NBA players, not G league call ups makes a huge difference. They just kept the best offence in the NBA who was at full strength to 102 points whilst winning the game, minus their max contract superstar guard and their very solid starting centre

And then Seph as the 6th man who can come in , score in bunches plus run the offense at times or when they play small he can play alongside Melo as a shooter

I will say this...since the trade deadline that the hornets won is a very good sound basketball team with real NBA players that doesn't hog the ball and passes the ball around like a team is suppose to. New look New hornets!

At this point they need to do a Co ROTY for Chet and Wemby. one has the potential to be one of the greatest, the other making a big impact for one of the best teams in the NBA

I'm not surprised at all. Everyone gave this kid a lot of flak for not immediately having it all figured out. But he's got a great place to grow and I think the future might be brighter than we anticipate for Charlotte. For their sake, I hope I'm right.

“No reason to watch Charlotte” i love brandon, he’s probably our savior, however Melo and Bridges when they play together is beautiful

I’m glad someone else pointed out the similarities to Tatum, it’s almost uncanny if you watch Tatums rookie highlights they played so similarly. If Miller continues to develop this way he will be a star

The fans that booed the Brandon Miller pick are stupid. Why would you draft another ball dominant guard when you already have LaMelo??? Brandon Miller can play off ball and he can actually shoot it really well. Miller can be really great if he just improves his defense.

I get it, Miller has been playing phenomenal but don't discredit the others. Mann is playing well, Micic, Grant is elevating this team with his grit & hustle + his ability to space the floor & don't forget Miles bridges come on now

I was there at the Draft. Wemby gets picked. Biggest pop in the arena. Miller gets picked, a few claps, not much noise, just eh. Scoot gets picked. Big pop. Thompson brothers big pop. Everyone is looking stupid at this point.

This team now that we have made a few trades got a solid backup point guard. ( who can fully start) in Mann and gotten rid of Hayward. Seth Curry is a hitter off the bench. This team is turning it around. We could make the play in the tournament. I don't think we are able to make a strong push against some of these other teams, but people are sleeping on them

I am a Hornets season ticket holder (yes, pray for me), but Brandon isn’t the only reason to watch the Hornets. LaMelo and Bridges are also reasons to watch. Mark Williams is a difference maker, so is Nik Richards . I just wish LaMelo would shoot less and work on his shot, period, in the summers. The problem with the Hornets is that there are no vets in the locker room.
