Two things I like about this game, first thing is how when you transform or "awaken" the music changes epically just to give the player a sense of "oh shit I'm fucked" and you don't see things like that in most anime fighting games. The second thing I like is how there's multiple ultimates it seems. One to break the numbers down, one as an actual finisher to end the match, and a super finisher that breaks more numbers that it appears you get if you just lower the health bar to empty. If this game gets put into tournaments I'm sure we can expect some amazing videos
@IlIIIllIII never noticed in Naruto honestly and I do know about sparking zero and I do like the atmosphere change they did but on this game the transformations feel more impactful due to the music change

This game looks good visually speaking with a clear emphasis on character details. However, personally, does anyone feel like the fighting stages look quite empty? Moreover, given the epic scale of the Bleach fights, I am struggling to really feel the destructive power of the characters shown even when using their Bankai or techniques and in comparison with past games such as Blade Battlers franchise, it does not seem like players can put to good use the shunpo/sonido techniques which may be why the characters seem so slow in their regular movements (except may be for Ulquiorra and Yoruishi). Given what we've been handled with DB Sparking Zero, all the possible combo cinematics, the super cool destructible environment and the fact this game kind of comes quite late on next gen platform, I would have been expecting much more to do the manga/anime justice. Will still play it though because I am a fan.
Looks like byakuya is going to be annoying to fight against since hes basically that one character who has a spammable range attack and you have no options to close the distance. One complant I have is being able to ulti multiple times. Each ulti should be unique per match but we see byakuya use the same one twice which makes it less interesting. I know that is his move however that is the move he uses to end the fight, not to continue it.

Hopefully we can side step projectiles. And this should’ve been released for next gen only why on earth would you release it for last gen? 30 fps versus 60 fps is disgusting. You’re separating your community like Naruto Connections. If you’re going to make it last gen then atleast make the series S 60 fps so we have more 60 fps players to fight.
My only fear of this game. I mean i dont mind the 4x square combos too much as long as there are other ways to improvise like cancels and combo extensions but im hoping this game can be developed to have a healthy skill gap and room for player improvement in gameplay

Looks absolutely amazing but maybe the UI could be tweaked. Damage isn't noticeable on the health bar. Kinda just chips away with no real visual
