- The 2007 ARCA season kicked off at Daytona for the Daytona ARCA 200. Coming off an eventful race in 2006, this one was expected to be much of the same. Bobby Gerhardt won the 2005 and 2006 editions, becoming the first back to back ARCA winner at Daytona, and he was aiming to go for 3 in a row. 66 cars attempted to make the race, but only 41 would take the green flag. On the pole was none other than Erin Crocker. The race favorite, Bobby Gerhardt, started alongside her. Frank Kimmel, coming off his 8th championship and 7th in a row, sat right behind the pair in row 2. Although he was the most decorated driver in the field, he had never conquered the high banks of Daytona.

I do not own any of the footage in this video, all credit goes to the respective owners: NASCAR, NASCAR Media Group, Fox, NBC, NBC Sports, ESPN.
Is don't think you'll run out of material for "ARCA Wreckfest". Nearly any race from this time will work. It's harder to find the races for "ARCA Mostly-Wreckfree"
This year’s race was surprisingly tame. And Frankie Muniz did good for his first outing.
I miss Gerhart on the track in the Arca series, he was my go to for this event every year.
I miss seeing that black Lucas Oil #5 up front everytime, I'll go back and watch the races he won and still it makes me happy.
Bobby was definitely my guy as a kid and into my teens! Miss him out there as well!
I miss when ARCA had veteran drivers like Gerhart and Frank Kimmel as a measuring stick to compare to the young up-and-comers trying to make their way up to the Cup series.
WHEN SHREK FLIPPED 😭😂
2:31 i will never understand how tf shrek made it on there 😭
Steve Wallace and Josh Berry are the two race car drivers that never want to miss a good wreck
This was the first ever ARCA race I watched. What a race it was lol
Watching this and seeing Tim Russell in the #9 get in that wreck near the end breaks my heart. He's definitely one of the many drivers that deserved a shot in NASCAR. Extremely talented driver and a great guy, kicked ass in super late models in Florida and eventually ran his own late model team which I raced for briefly. Kyle Larson also raced a super late model for Tim Russell Inc. in I believe 2011, at New Smyrna for the World Series of Asphalt, and did really well
Shrek had ARCA experience? Dang man, that's crazy.
I feel you you should do a video of the 1990 ACRA 200, the race where Slick Johnson unfortunately passed away and a safety worker survived behind struck by racecar.
The thing about this race that stands out to me is that there were FIVE manufacturers: Chevrolet, Ford, Dodge, Toyota, and Pontiac.
2:34 I had to go back to read it 3 times.
Shout-out!
imagine 66 cars at daytona, that'd be WILD

People may not know, but Billy Venturini was actually levels better as a driver than what the win count says.

Homewrecker Crocker, but Evernham was in no wise innocent either... What a waste. In both cases. Lost all respect for Crocker.
