As a musician, I played stage shows with Wallace, ladmo, and Pat! From Christown theater on Saturday to many appearances at Legend City and Arizona State Fair they were great to work with and they were my heroes growing up.
@@mrhiddenchef Sorry Chris, I truly wish I had pics of that period of my life. My band was Thackery Rock and spent a lot of weekends at "The VIP club housed in the old Chamber of Commerce hall. (I may have that building name wrong.) The "Spiders" (later Alice Cooper) had one side of the building and we had the other. Pat helped us with some pro direction with a single we had out and local airplay gave us the expected boost. (Thanks Pat!) All in all, I was very lucky to have worked with them. Thanks for the reply!
I loved Wallace and Ladmo and Gerald. We moved to Arizona in 1982 and we're stationed at Ft. Huachuca in southern AZ. I never really considered it a kids' show because they were so sharp and witty and funny. They appealed to everyone. I watched their show every day.
i recall vividly.. crazy warm loving guy.. during 1964,i used to hitchhike to my high school ,i would stand on 40 st and washington ,ladmo would be driving to work from TEmpe, and from time to time he would give us a ride to 7st. nice lovable guy..
I saw Wallace and Ladmo 3 times. Once was when some friends of mine sent in a funny picture and got to be on the set. 2 other times were at Legend City and I think the Boys Club or Encanto Park. One of those times my sister called out,"Gerald is a brat!" He shook his fist at her.
I went to High school with Robin Kwaitkowski and Danny and David Kush. They were on the same baseball team as my boyfriend was the pitcher.( Tempe High Class of 74) Both Lad.and Coach Kush would come watch practice or a game. They often sat behind me as I was a Diamond Doll and help keep the stats. Both gentlemen were wonderful and kind to me. And they raised wonderful sons.Wonderful memories of them both
I agree with you on buying the shows. I remember meeting Ladmo shortly before he passed. Those memories will last forever. I miss those days they were a lot of fun.
Remember birthday parties at Ladmoland...the best for me was the train. Can’t remember the name of that mall in Phoenix it was next to. All fond memories
I met Ladmo briefly at a Showbiz Pizza place years ago. I was an adult but was a starstruck little kid at heart. I didn't even think to ask for an autograph.
What a great combo they were. I was in high school at the time in phoenix, it was great to be different from everyone else. A rebel in whatever way we wanted. Just like these guys.
Was a broadcaster at KBAQ Radio the day he passed away, I sat in the truck and cried. Rest In Peace, Ladmo.
still makes me sad that they are gone.

@@queeb46 I remember you guys, you opened for Blue Cheer and Eric Burdon and the Animals the first time I took acid in December of '66.

Pat who played Garald is still on local TV here.
I grew up with this. What a privilage.
It still makes me sad
I saw Ladmo at an Arizona State football game in 1975. He had a big, friendly smile and a wave to everyone there.
My brother still wears his Ladmo t-shirt. (Wallace fan since 1956).
Thanks for putting these on YT

I wish someone would make up disk or update the show videos. I would purchase them in a heart beat.

If only they kept the tapes. So we could keep watching them.

They even named a food bag they gave ya in Maricopa county jail after Ladmo.
Wiliam Mckinney Yeah, but it wasn't the same. No candy, no soda, no comic books! 😰Lol, god bless Wallace And Ladmo and even Gerald, too!
I only got Ladmo bags from sheriff Joe arpaio.
"A part of my life"!
My dad said Ladmo talk to me when I was 4 years old at legend City in 1970---damn, I don't remember
I grew up with them. I have to find these clips so I can hear that opening music sometimes.
Ho ho ha ha hee hee haha.
I started watching them when I was 4 or 5 stopped when I was 16.
My happiest day of my childhood was when I got a ladmo bag! My dad was a reporter for the republic and gazette... I was there for a taping!
