He's easily a 40 point defenseman in his prime with PP2 PK1 Line 1 minutes of he gets good minutes while being great defensively and physically

I'm gonna say it, Faber should have won Rookie of the Year. Bedard was the flashier player on a glorified AHL team, but Faber simply did more. He played the 5th most minutes of any player in the entire league at 21 years old, he blocked shots, he was lethal on the power play and played 3 minutes a night on the penalty kill alone (Bedard played one shift on the PK all season). Bedard won the trophy off star power vibes/name recognition and looking better than anyone on his otherwise moribund team. Faber was the better player last year in terms of actually doing stuff to make his team win more games. I'm not saying this will be true for their whole careers, but Calder voters were clearly more wowed by the flashy goals and the promise that brings than they were by the actual skater spending a third of the game on the ice last year. (I'm a Sharks fan so I got no horse in this race either)
If you watch a bit of montreal's games and you know anything about hockey you'll notice fairly quickly. Guhle is already the Canadiens best D. Everyone is so high on Matheson but Guhle is better and still got potential.

Hardest shot means nothing, Ryan reaves had the leafs fourth hardest shot last season at 97.
