Wow what a great video and such good sound too especially when it comes to Buck's solo. As a life-long fan of BOC and someone who first saw them back in 1978 I have appreciated so many of their great albums and shows love them to bits. I last saw them a couple of years ago. I know that age catches up with all of us and it is either that, or, that Buck now over embellishes much of his material and has lost some of the clean sounds from yesteryear....but hey, hey hey, a very minor gripe...... Brilliant video
I remember a few people shouting for Astronomy during the encore. Primarily because I was one of them. What we got though, is the best rendition of "Then came the last days of May" I ever heard.
Yeah, there are several live versions of this piece, but I really feel it's missing something without the keyboard element. Lanier's contribution to Secret Treaties and several live performances make it more complete.
💯 and although I get the fact that not everyone's vocals can stay as powerful as they were when they're younger, but compared to the 1970s, Eric's pipes are essentially gone when it comes to their quintessential piece, "Astronomy".
Eric has been doing this for 50+ years..of course he won't bang this one out like he did in 1975..or 2001..appreciate it for what it is in the here and now
OMG! Buck's playing never ages!!! My all-time favorite BOC song!!!
Buck Dharma was absolutely great in that show. So glad I could attend.
Just another day at the office.

Simply magical!!!
Buck most underrated
Saw them recently
And they were in top form
Sadly they did not play Astronomy in Strasbourg. But thanks to you I got to see it! Merci!

Yes but they played "Then Came the Last Days of May", they didn't in Caluire... They vary their setlist which I think is quite cool
@@phoenixdblack I was one of the others. And The Alchemist I was hoping to hear.
@@karstengranow7428 Oh god yeah, I really love that song just as much
Eric Bloom = the voice

the imaginos version is better
Lovely solo from Buck... Salvaged the song
énormissime !
vus en 75, c'était tout de même autre chose..😢
Slow and Bloom's voice seems weak....
He's almost 80 so his voice is tired from the age
RU Mental
Seems weak? He's done.

No shit! Still terrible. Thanks for the memories, but....there's no point to this.
Buck singing is a better version. But both of them are losing their voices, so…
