    Boa noite!! Me inscrevi no seu canal pois depois de várias pesquisas me identifiquei com seu jeito, sua forma de falar e sua pronúncia. Acredito que para nós Brasileiros a dificuldade está em querer ler as palavras como se fosse no Português. O Português é uma língua muita fonética, coisa que nem tanto no inglês. Aí está a dificuldade, porque a gente olha a palavra e meio que vem automático os sons da língua portuguesa que se lê como está escrito. Por isso que achamos tão estranho, palavras tão parecidas na escrita mas com sons totalmente diferentes. Qual a saída?? Ouvir como se fala cada palavra sem ver ela escrita e você vai ver a diferença em cada uma. Depois pegar cada uma e estudar( escrever, falar, ouvir).

    • @tarlespeech
      @tarlespeech  4 года назад +4

      Yes, most people learn a languages from reading. This makes English Pronunciation very difficult for anyone from a phonetic language background. Portuguese speakers also struggle with the vowel length differences and rhythm of English. The good new is that as long as people understand you then you are doing a wonderful job. Perfect pronunciation is not required. All the best!

It turned up this NG sound in American English is surprising easy to say, the tongue touching the bottom teeth, I definitely already can say it. Will be looking for your lesson on this wonderful and very attractive to sound American rhotic R. I already was tought how to say it and practice it every day, however the NG sound was a mystery to me, nothing like this in Polish language. As you most probably know very few Europeans can say correctly American R. I say using the back of my jaw rolling upward my tongue, and really employing my throught and my lungs. Americans living in the South say the American R even , kind of better, more American. Your lessons are so good, I'm positive a lot of people appreciate greatly your work.
